Misandrists use the punching up idea to validate their bigotry, but at the end of the day, they're just as bad as other bigots. I like to use this example: if I were to hate Asian people as a white man in the US, I would be a racist, and should have my views called out accordingly. No reasonable person is against the general idea behind feminism, meaning equal rights for women.
