My citation is my own experience, no clue what a PUA is. I guess we’re all just “practicing” until something actually sticks. Oh and if you figure out how to have fun dating please let me know. Id love to learn

I don’t find dating fun at all. Between creeps, rape threats , and general awkwardness it’s hell.

That sounds like a problem

What. That’s literally what that means.

Sure. When I was overweight (albeit only slightly, it’s just the way my body was laid out, thin legs large stomach and boobs no ass) no one paid mind to me. On dating apps, people would meet up with me but a lot of their personalities just simply did not do it for me. (I’m also much more interested in personality rather than looks. I don’t have a physical type) , or I met up with one guy who I thought we hit off really well, but after the date let me know I was not his Type after all. I would ne…

It’s horrible , and it’s not right but I have heard a lot of men do this. To say it’s an issue caused by women and women only would just be untrue. That being said I’ve tried to do my part and shut down penis size shaming in all forms wheverver I can. I don’t stand for body shaming in any shape or form.

I’ve been mildly overweight and also underweight. Went through a nasty eating disorder after this year. I’m now a normal weight and have fat on me but relatively fit. As overweight I was extremely satisfied with my dating life. At thin I was also dissatisfied because I was getting a lot more attention but it was purely sexual. Now I’m not looking to date.

And so other men aren’t the issue at all?? I have had many men talk to me about how their “friends” made them insecure about their penis sizes.

My point still stands. As for pornography this point doesn’t make sense. This industry as a whole is largely dedicated to the male gaze, no wonder there isn’t a big category for womens niches, although I’m 100% sure you could find pornography of different male body types readily accessible. Now this isn’t to say women never watch porn, but cmon look at the website demographics. It’s not hard to understand. There is no male Tess holiday — while technically true I think this has more to do with th…

I’m sorry but they actually are. same logic can apply to “no one’s reallly chasing plus size women” Just because you don’t want to believe it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

This is just a personal choice though, nothing to do with men or dating scene.

Considerably less. I suppose in some cases but then you could argue that some unattractive men are chased after too. Mostly fetishized anyways.

Attractivity is so subjective, I can find a man with washboard abs incredibly unsexy if his personality is shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 03:38 AM

Haha good. It’s honestly exhausting. I hate it. I just want to be seen as a person and not a pair of tits.

I would say the privledge not to be sexualized in most contexts. Obviously some men get sexualized and it’s horrible, but often times women are sexualized automatically, no matter the context. The one that bugs me most is my career and interests. I’m a nurse, and I did cheerleading. Sometimes I get “wow that’s so cool!” But mostly it’s “oh a hot nurse why don’t you take care of me” or “I bet you’re flexible. As of my years of training and expertise, hard physical prep mean nothing and I’m reduce…

Well since I’m a woman that doesn’t want to get married (or have kids) it would actually be ideal for me

No, I’m not a monster. I would be more concerned on his judgement of me being a non virgin, but then again. I wouldn’t date a man that would judge me based on tht. I don’t judge your previous sex history (barring anything like rape/assault ) and if you don’t judge mine there is no issue.

When the dude is on the same wave of humour/ sex talk like me. like makes fun of me and we have good banter, that perfect roast to compliment ratio, teasing, it’s all gotta be there. . That’s number one. Oh, and The one thing that gets me is if a dude admits to wanting this really badly for a long time, / they’ve thought about me while self pleasuring before. — so cheeky, I love it

I’ve done it 3 times. None of them were fun in the slightest. I was really drunk, put myself in unsafe situations on purpose, dubious consent , made me feel horrible. It was about instantanious but cheap validation from men that I am “hot enough” to want to fuck. What works best for me is a friends with benefits situation where it’s someone I know, trust and can discuss consent openly, discuss kink and know them Wel enough to know tht they will stop if I ask them too. Random Hookups are not for …

Honestly, I’m not sure we have it the same. Sure seeing a hot guy is nice and all but I don’t definitively know if we do that kind of thing. Like get that horny on main.

Mmm yes, my significant other having sex with an object designed to be the perfect sex partner… he will totally still be interested in me later what a great idea. Not. I struggle to believe any man finds me sexually attractive At all, adding a robot to that dynamic is not going to help

For myself I would agree, I can find someone sexually attractive without a connection, but would never have sex

People are genuinly so detached from reality they genuinly believe that the opposite gender is some sort of irrational animal that follows some insane yet uniform thinking logic and requires a formulated approach. Imagine if you treated people with respect and listened to what I individuals close to you are saying, no, that’s too crazy. And what is the definition of “better”? Why is taller better? More money? And wouldn’t the same apply to a man, shouldn’t he want a woman with bigger boobs, a be…

Unpopular but I HATE the alpha male hyper masculine muscle bro look. Like muscle tee shirt with those stupid giant veiny muscles🤢. Other than that, greasy hair, long hair, bad haircut (not the dudes fault, can be overlooked ) And creepy eyes; if you have serial killer eyes i steer clear (not sure how to describe but the ladies will know what I’m talking about) Anyways, most of the physical stuff appart from bad hygiene can be over looked, but serial killer eyes cannot sadly. Too many close calls…

No, it’s not deceptive and amoral, people need to Fucking chill. If a girl doesn’t want to Date you because you wear height increasing shoes do you really want her? Just like I wouldn’t be with a man who criticized me for wearing makeup or a padded bra.

Whether it’s intended to be cruel or not, to me, it brings me back to middle school where boys would say “ok whatever you say four” (or insert any other number between one and nine) when referring to me or my friends and I guess I’ve stayed away from it ever since. If I don’t feel the neeed to categorize people on the street numerically, why would I?

Sort of, but not really. My track record is not terribly long , but it’s been white men, an Asian men, a Latino guy, one short , one tall, a few average. Some chubby some athletic some super skinny and each had comments I found extremely physically attractive, but the only defining thing was their personality. Overall

I’m Pretty content with it, I’m just not looking for men right now. I need to address my own issues first. To me it’s about finding a person with the same values and sense of humour as me. I don’t have a physical type, but a personality is extremely important. There are millions of people in the world, some of their values will align to mine, a smaller percentage of thats humour will align to mine, and have a personality that I am attracted to. a smaller pool will find me physically attractive a…

Think about it “I hate women because they hate me” mmmkay, you’re hating someone for hating you, it’s only natural isnt it? I’d also say for myself the slight fear element adds. I’ve seen a lot of horrific things said from incels, whether it be rape threats or murder threats, whether it contains any truth is debatable but things have happened before, it only makes sense.

If it’s how you want to live, by all means do it! But if you’re unhappy with the life you have, change it. Beleifs can change as you grow older and if yours change, don’t hold yourself back. It’s only up to you to live how you want, what you want, go for it! You can’t force a man to want you, and you can’t force the right time for love. Do what you need to go to keep yourself happy love

Good thing I’m (the woman) making close to 100k and my boyfriend is making 60k. But as an equal partnership we balance our finances together and work as a team just like every other aspect of life!!

What the fuck, why would this be a bad thing. You can do what you want an experience what you want. The people in this group are funny, my boyfriend told me to check it out for a quick laugh. Only, I’m not really laughing because to me all I see is misery and loneliness. Well actually, there seems to be quite a few gentlemen who have decided to work on themselves and to stay away from dating which is extremely respectable, I even thibg staying single for life or any other choices about your pers…
