The best way is to just throw yourself into situations and just do your best. Everyone has some crazy crap going on in their lives that they don’t want someone else to see or know and they are all in their own world. This had been a constant battle for me too. So far I’ve found that bro nothing can speed it up or just make it better except just waiting it out. Some things that have helped me: getting outside and reading in a park, playing board games with strangers on the meetup app, kayaking and hiking, watching Rachel Sloan videos on YouTube, medication to help sleep but immediately getting out of bed when the thoughts spiral.
