The bear thing is stupid and just shows exactly why misandry should be taken seriously. The blatant sexism and dehumanization. They do not see you as barely even a person. They hate you so much that even a bear who will maul them to death is better than you.

This is a delusional argument. Yes, a lot of it is other men being horrible. I might even say most of crime stats are, etc. But women are really shitty people too. If all men disappeared crime would only be reduced, not gone entirely. Oh also women are shown to be just as abusive in relationships. So maybe teach women to stop being misandrist while we're at it.

Except, men can't openly talk about these things or try to fix them. Any men support groups are labeled as sexist and hateful merely for existing.

To the people saying he isn't anti-lgbt, he is. You can pretend it's something about free speech, but in reality that's just an excuse. Imagine if being racist was a crime, so you then center your life around being super racist. If that's all it takes, then you aren't really a good person to begin with. And that's how they expose themselves.

Give it 15 years, the girls will be walking around topless on beaches saying hey if guys can do it why can't we This should be allowed now. Also, because it's a business, and can be empowering for some people. OP, this post just reeks of insecurity.

Right? I actually feel bad to be a mra because honestly they complain about a lot of things that honestly aren't even issues at all.
/r/MensRights30/08/22 04:06 PM

As a mra, I really actually like the show. Yes you could see it as "woke", but I think that's what makes it funny. I don't see it as offensive at all. And I say that as a person who often hates these kinds of things.

I am actually. And most of the shit I see there is fucking ridiculous, not unlike this particular topic. How do you know these actions won't be repeated? In quite a lot of these stories, they absolutely refuse to leave her alone. Even after being blocked.
/r/MensRights23/08/22 01:34 AM

The difference is many guys in those situations refuses to leave the woman alone, while this is again.. just a advertisement, which you're under no obligation to buy from. So it's very different.
/r/MensRights23/08/22 01:19 AM

How are they unwelcome if the person in question never made that clear to begin with? In fact judging by people's profiles they often suggest the opposite. "behavior characterized by the making of unwelcome and inappropriate sexual remarks or physical advances in a workplace or other professional or social situation.” Two things wrong with this In most of these situations the only thing sexual is maybe suggestive pictures, but even then they're normally very hesitant to send anything until you'v…

How is it sexual harassment? Sexual harassment would be trying to do something sexual forcefully, grabbing a woman's butt without consent for example. This on the other hand is advertising your own product. You're not being forced to buy anything. So how is it harassment? Seems like a far reach.

It's extremely simple. They aren't getting mad because when it comes to their struggles, women don't care. So why should men?
/r/MensRights12/05/22 01:05 AM
3

That's exactly what I feel it is, sort of wanting revenge. What goes around, comes around. But, that isn't going to win anyone any allies. What these people should be doing is trying to unite all people, instead of speaking against them is just going to push more potential supporters away. I know that because that's how it was with me, as an issue I totally support abortion, but I feel weird doing so because I'm bitter from all the sexist talk. When I say mutilation I'm not talking about circumcision. I'm talking about the sheer number of posts on social media suggesting men should be forced to have vasectomies, or even castrated. I'm sure this is a minority, but I've seen it being said quite a lot on certain subs.
/r/MensRights09/05/22 10:50 PM
9

It's definitely a sex strike for a lot of people as it's been talked about in a lot of posts online. But I think the way you describe it is totally valid. Like you say I think people should be very careful not only when it comes to this, but in life in general :)
/r/MensRights09/05/22 06:24 AM
7

I agree, the government shouldn't restrict anyone, men or women. However you either have to be blind or ignoring it to not see all the hatred being spoken right now. Like I said in my post, look at subs like r/TwoXChromosomes. You see post after post after post saying talking down to men for how pathetic they are for not making enough money, interests, how good they are as a person. Telling them they'll never get laid again. Telling them they should be castrated or be forced vasectomies. This is…
/r/MensRights09/05/22 05:47 AM
9

Logically that makes no sense. You don't fight sexism with sexism, that only fuels the fire. By saying men should be put under horrendous surgeries in order to disable a natural function isn't going to win them any allies. In fact that only shows me they're the villain. They could just as easily ask and rally for support instead of being hateful. If they had done that, I'd be 100% supporting them right now. But they didn't, instead they let their anger get the better of them and copied the peopl…
/r/MensRights09/05/22 05:36 AM

I'm not saying women owe sex to men, they really don't. But as I said in this post it's obvious this is being done as a strike, it's being done in order to try and pressure a change, it's being done out of bitterness. For those reasons it's absolutely pathetic. Otherwise I totally agree, if a woman doesn't wanna have sex with men, fine. Her body, her choice. But using it as a manipulative tactic is extremely toxic and petty.
/r/MensRights09/05/22 05:32 AM
11

Actually, they've already pretty much said that. I've seen posts that suggest men should be forced to have vasectomies/getting castrated. All I'm saying is the truth, some may hide it, but others will say it out loud: they're so bitter they would LOVE to see you mutilated and suffering.

I actually don't know askfeminist. Is it actually that good? Every page remotely feminist I usually end up leaving due to them being sexist.

That's what science is. Unbiased. Science doesn't have an opinion. It simply proves facts by trial and error, and researching why things work the way they do. Nothing proven about this has been "wrong" My, you sound like a clown 🤣

Yet another person griping on tight to any excuse they can just so their delusional sense of the world remains whole. Despite the amount of studies that's been done, how many medical professionals, doctors, etc overwhelmingly support trans people. I don't believe a man is a woman. Because a trans woman was always a woman. See, you can barely even know what you're talking about in the first place.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 01:29 PM
1

The cope is strong with this one LMAO No but seriously. There's been several studies proving things in favor with trans people. I could go on and on about this. Clearly reality is not your friend.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 01:13 PM
1

Nope. Not unless you find reality funny.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 01:05 PM

Do trans people never get sick? That's a hilariously dumb claim. Also I never denied that they get fired for misgendering people. Having your own views and treating people with basic respect are two different things.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 12:26 PM

More like everything. You said it was just him getting fired for a woke agenda, so I corrected you.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 12:18 PM

You mean except for the fact in a job like that, your profession is literally trying to help people, right? Only to then intentionally disrespect someone in such a way you know will seriously bother them. Therefore he betrays his oath.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 11:54 AM

As he should. You don't actually really care for people if you continuously do something that harms/disrespects them.

It literally does. But whatever.

The fact you absolutely insist they were bribed instead and continue to believe you know more than someone who literally studied topics like these for years I think speaks volumes who you are as a person. Once again, fabricating any excuse to keep your delusion whole. It's actually pretty hilarious, but not surprising.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 09:21 AM

Except that's exactly what you've been doing. You deny facts that are clear as day, anything to maintain your ideology. Like the old saying goes, the stupid often doesn't alter their views to fit the facts, they try to alter the facts to fit their views. Of course the majority of them are going to go with whatever society deems acceptable. Hm.. no. Usually they go by whatever data has shown to be true. When you're in a profession like that they rarely let personal feelings get in the way of fact…

They wouldn't be fired. Believe it or not there's doctors who don't back it, although that's more rare. And surprise surprise, they aren't fired. This is also despite the majority of doctors, medical professionals being so overwhelmingly supportive about it, to the point of researching and talking about it in such detail. If they weren't supportive they wouldn't do that, they would likely avoid it or act indifferent. But again, cling and cope.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 08:58 AM

You know being trans USED to be a mental illness right? As in, it's not anymore? Meaning literal psychologists don't recognize it as a mental illness? Once again, science disagrees with you.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 08:38 AM

Dumb? That's ironic considering science backs trans people. So it looks like only dumb one here is you.

Trans women are women and they aren't "invading" spaces I'm sorry you're so desperate to be wrong
/r/MensRights13/04/22 06:52 AM

TERFs are honestly so delusional to the point where I think they must suffer from some mental illness or distorted sense of reality. The fact is trans women aren't men and don't pose any threats to women sports or spaces.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 06:47 AM

I know this is probably a "well they did it to us so I'm gonna do it back" kinda thing, but no. You have to be better than them. By doing that you're only teaching body shaming is okay, which is exactly what this is fighting against.
/r/MensRights12/04/22 05:39 AM

Men to other men do quite a bit of that as well but women also do an extremely fair share too.
/r/MensRights10/04/22 02:19 AM

I did, actually. The message behind the film is to highlight and bring awareness to the horrors of being a woman, it being a horror movie is fitting to a lot of people. We also find that she didn't drive her husband to suicide (according to her) and that was just the other man telling her she did over and over. This to me seems to be what "gaslighting" or "mansplaining" would be according to many people. It's a men's rights issue because the film is a result of how many people perceive men. It's…

Yeah that I definitely agree more with lol. I feel like in general probably the average person of these groups don't feel this way but a lot of what we see are some of the most extreme people of these groups. That isn't to say there isn't a lot of them though, a lot of people can just get crazy lol
/r/MensRights05/04/22 09:21 AM

I'm actually LGBT and I don't want revenge. I genuinely want true equality and try to support everyone the best I can. Though I will admit I have grown bitter to some people. Anyway I totally agree. As far as sexism by women I think that's what it's about. Revenge. Feminism claims to want to help men too but anytime any men's issues are brought up it's laughed at.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 08:53 AM
1

Men suffer from sexism from women. I could literally make an entire list on how they are. You covering your eyes and ignoring it won't magically make the truth go away simply because you don't like it. Yes, women were very oppressed, but recently they've become bitter. I can't speak for all but unfortunately for many it's not about equality. It's about revenge. If it wasn't we'd be seeing more awareness about oppression against men, similar to how you said. And yet, there isn't.
/r/MensRights22/03/22 07:36 AM
1

You claim you're for equal rights and yet at every opportunity you insist and do anything you can to blame men, who once again, yes, struggle from sexism. More so than women in my opinion. I think that really tells us all we need to know. So I can safely discard your opinion. Also male rape/abuse victims are laughed at by women just as much, way more actually. I've literally seen it. Like I said, so far you haven't been reliable.
/r/MensRights22/03/22 07:24 AM
1

Yes, they are. Are you kidding? The amount of how fucking sexist I've seen so many women being is unbelievable Also so.. men advocating for ways their oppressed and to spread awareness is against feminism? Lmao. That's funny. Sounds like this is just an attempt to silence them. And it won't work. Also by your own logic then you'd be against feminism, considering you're on this sub. Or do you not count? It would be fine if they're mostly focused on women's issues, but then stay focused on that. I…

Certain ones definitely, yes. I know you probably don't think so but I'm not actually against feminism and I do believe it's for equal rights. But unfortunately, feminism never really help men, just women. Then why not stand up for men and fight these toxic double standards in society? They almost never do. Once again, because it benefits them. So your biggest concern is women, who very often happen to be the oppressors to so many of these issues? Sorry to say, but it sounds like this isn't the …

You say it isn't the fault of women, and yet women are the worst offenders of this. If you do not completely meet every expectation, suddenly you're not a man. It isn't women's faults and yet they continue to reinforce it, because it benefits them. After all, why would you give up your power? Also nothing in my post degraded women. This is a really weird stance to take. It seems your main worry is women. And even then, you can take this same stance with many issues. Would it be fair to walk into…

I never use Twitter, nor am I really apart of feminist groups. So ehhh.. wrong! That's true, but that's also not what I said. I never said you shouldn't face the consequences to what you've done. I said family is a bond that shouldn't be broken easily. You stick together, and when they don't more often than not that's evidence that they were never really worthy in the first place. Actually, sex work has recently gotten recognition and is now respected. Sure, there's still lots of people that don't, but I'd argue the majority of the media has spread awareness on the subject. Sex work is real work. It's a profession just like any other. You're saying religion shunned it. So what you're saying is that it hasn't historically been respected because.. outside parties shaped that view? You're absolutely right. Wearing a dress and cutting off your penis doesn't change gender. Trans people are who they say they are regardless of medical intervention. The vast majority of people also support trans people. That's just another peek into your distorted worldview. And you require treatment because your body doesn't make enough of said hormones to make said transition. You've also very clearly made a defection. A mental disorder is typically something that negatively impacts your life, something to eradicate, or treat at the very least. Gender dysphoria is a mental condition in the same way depression or anxiety is. That doesn't make them mentally ill. In which case, that is the goal. To eliminate dysphoria. That's why in order to overcome it you embrace your true self. Rejecting your true identity to appease those around you is the fake part. Interesting enough the same thing happened with gay people,…

Ah, I see you took the time to actually learn what I'm all about. Bravo. Also, I can confirm that's not true. You can deflect all you want, that doesn't make any of these real issues any less real. False rape accusations ruin lives. So no, men shouldn't shut the hell up about them. That's all that needs to be said to ruin a life. And it happens often.

How is the male suicide rate because of toxic masculinity? They're killing themselves because they're toxic? That makes no sense. Also there's actually tons of proof, because it happens everywhere everyday. The struggles of men are overlooked and it's totally fine to be sexist, because people today say only women can suffer from sexism. Denying their struggle. Honestly why do you think the suicide rate for men is over there times higher than for women? With feminism nowadays you even see things like "kill all men" or just saying that men are trash. In modern society you're rewarded for sexism against men but if you apply that same thing to women? Then you're scum. If a man cheats he's the scum of the earth but if a woman cheats she can easily just make HERSELF the victim by saying "you weren't giving me enough attention" Then there's rape accusations …

Actually most women today are misandrist to some degree, it very much is a systemic problem. I could seriously talk about and list double standards against men all day, not even funny. All the ways men have it bad in society.

You just said misandry doesn't matter. Sexism is generally a shitty thing, no matter what side. So... yes, so many feminists ARE misandrist.

You have to realize if they're acting this way they don't actually hold any love for you. I know with culture it's different, but despite that I feel acting this way is just still horrible. On the fact alone they'd disown you they've made it clear they see you as nothing more than a source for grandchildren, seemingly so they can just repeat this same process with them when they grow up.

Or, the question she should be asking herself is she didn't know SHE was a sexist. Suddenly it's considered selfish to stand up for yourself in ways you feel your own group is oppressed.

I'm also trans and this really hits home for me. In fact because I'm an MRA I often internally beat myself up over it, because I feel like it'd be incredibly rare for a woman to think like this and probably doesn't look good. Then I try thinking about it the other way around. A man who cared for women wouldn't be seen as bad, in fact good. Though this also sadly ignores a lot of the issues trans people deal with. You don't just instantly get more dates once you become trans. In fact almost no on…

Tell me you're a raging sexist without actually telling me you're a raging sexist

Honestly the draft shouldn't exist in the first place. But if it has to, women should be made to join if men have to too.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about doing right by them, focus more on what's right by you, do anything you can for yourself because most people in the situation have made it clear they're going to eat up anything she says because she has privilege. They obviously don't care about you. Like many people have suggested already I'd say get your things, stop paying her rent and feeding into her wants immediately, block her, and cut her out from your life. The sooner the better.

What the fuck. How can you even be expected to pay rent if you can't even live there in the first place, AND you said you can't even take your possessions? None of this makes sense.

I totally feel society is filled with toxic masculinity. But at the same time toxic femininity also exists, and men shouldn't get all the flack they get. Yes some of it is very justified, but there's certain points when we bash them for doing completely reasonable things and had the gender roles be flipped, it wouldn't be the same situation at all.

The only reason people feel totally fine being racist to white people and sexist to men is because they're the majority and therefore are "the oppressors". So it all just flys over the radar, giving you the chance to be bigoted but it never being recognized. Change my mind.

No, she's right. If only more people actually understood this instead of just condemning men.

Sex is normal in a relationship, but it's not a requirement. If they don't want to, they shouldn't be made to do it. You're not entitled to it.

That's.. not true lmao. So basically if you're in a relationship they're just automatically your sex guinea pig?

You were decieved? Really? Sex isn't even a requirement lol. Because that's not what it's about. You can, sure. It's about love.

I mean.. who does that? Lol. I wouldn't wanna force someone to do that. And I don't think that's really how it works

If you ever try to say not all men do a thing (harassing women, etc) a lot of times you will be mad fun of and it's considered a bad thing to do somehow Even though it's basically demonizing a whole gender

I'd say yes. Cheating can be anything. It's a promise you two make in a relationship, that only you two do, that you can't do with someone else. That's whether if it's happening or not. Just because it stops doesn't make it not cheating.

I'd say about the same. A false accusation will usually completely destroy a man's life. Emotionally because he'll lose all his friends and maybe even his family. He'll be regarded as a monster by everyone. He will lose his job, might not be able to enter the college he wanted, or even other ones that would take him for that matter. And all that is if he isn't even sent to prison. Places might also evict you. On the other hand actual rape will actually emotionally destroy you, none of the othe…

I don't think it should be life but I think false accusers should definitely go to jail for a long time. (5-30 years)

Society, mostly. It's been a deep rooted thing for pretty much forever. Remember in the 50s when there were housewives? So it's been a societal thing for a long time now that the world is now getting over. So most times if a woman wants to succeed, with dating and other things, she has to look nice. Men usually don't want an ugly looking wife. But it's the other way too. And for your other claim, we're just going to ignore that women get harassed? Again, this is not all men. I said that. I'm jus…

Women constantly have to focus on being beautiful, unless they're more on the butch side. Shaving their body, make up, etc. But that's less of a problem and more of gender roles I think. I've also noticed that yeah there does seem to be more men in higher positions than women, but again, what do I know lol. I deal with this too but men also seem to not like taking no for an answer, sometimes. I'm now talking about the really annoying ones who probably deal with masturbation addiction and not the…

Hey, thanks so much for the reply :) And yeah I agree. I think the key point at the end of the day is to just be you. I think I've noticed that I've always been...different, and that's not always a good thing. I think a lot of times I can be really messed up, and again that's just me lol. I also think I've changed over the years and have become less good and more bad. So that helps me.
