I really dont know why everyone seems to think in such extremes these days (ie Billionaire douche or homeless). Most people are just average, it’s literally built in the definition of the word. The apps are one dimensional, actual relationships are multi dimensional. IRL is best to determine compatibility. Next step for Apps to help rectify this would be some sort of VR Chatroom where you could have a first date as close to IRL as possible without actually leaving your home. I haven’t been on the apps in years (happily married) but if I was my first date preference would be a phone/FaceTime call to get to know the person then if it went well move to IRL date.
