3	Which side to choose? This is all great advice. I think OP is confusing "bringing someone down" with teasing. Teasing is playful and fun, while bringing someone down can not only kill your chances, but can cause them psychological harm. Humans, women in particular, want to feel attractive, so they put a lot of effort into their appearance.
