We have to solve the male disposability issue once and for allEven when both genders are mandated to fight the reality would be women being put in safer positions and doing less labour. Essentially on paper this 'equal' conscription makes people think gender equality has been achieved in that regard, while actually it is still men putting more work in and occupying the more dangerous positions. I don't think introducing conscription for both genders is a solution. It makes the problem a little smaller, while giving the impression of fully solving it. | 3 | Ukrainian woman saves her husband from mobilization officers driving in an ambulanceWhat the woman recording at the begining is saying is "this is how they treat a woman" not "this is how women do it" as the subtitles say. Then the guy as per subtitles says "you will kill her", which is valid in the situation but... but they are taking the man away to die. That is the real tragedy. | /r/MensRights | 23/12/23 05:47 PM
Ukrainian woman saves her husband from mobilization officers driving in an ambulanceThat's not my point, but I understand what you are saying | /r/MensRights | 23/12/23 05:40 PM
Both Ukraine and Russia conscript only men to war.Yeah true | /r/MensRights | 21/12/23 08:33 PM
Both Ukraine and Russia conscript only men to war.I agree, but there are many steps between barracking women in some sort of pregnancy camps (like they barrack men for war) and not doing anything to make women get pregnant. If the russian government introduced rules punishing women for not having children (like with an extra tax) or other measures this would somewhat support your point of the gov seeing women as soldier makers equally to how they see men as soldiers. | /r/MensRights | 21/12/23 08:26 PM
Ukrainian woman saves her husband from mobilization officers driving in an ambulanceAnd still the people recording are most concerned with what is happening to the woman xD. | /r/MensRights | 21/12/23 08:21 PM
Both Ukraine and Russia conscript only men to war.The fertility rate in Russia is below replacement level, far below levels needed for population growth or even maintaing population with thousands of extra deaths from war. If the government actually thought about women the same way they do about men, they would be drafting women into some sort of "population service" or "demographic crasis units" and forcing them to get pregant and have at least 3 children. They are not doing that. There is no symmetry here. | /r/MensRights | 21/12/23 04:39 PM
Are car safety tests really sexist against women?I would think the same. Despite the large forces involved I would expect it to be a fairly significant factor. Men have stronger bones, tendons, ligaments, more muscle (which absorbs shock and also holds the body together and even thicker skin. This should translate into suffering less serious injuries in accidents of comparable severance. | /r/MensRights | 15/12/23 04:59 PM
New movie called "Miller's Girl" thats about false accusationsUnfortunately, I think a lot of people actually belive in all kind of woke bullshit. And even those who do not, act as if they do simply out of fear or comformity. | /r/MensRights | 14/12/23 09:33 PM
If you could gain a significant role in the politics of your own country what would you do to help improve mens rights situationsThat's a great point. I used to not think of this as important, but feel that it is increasingly so. | /r/MensRights | 14/12/23 09:30 PM
If you could gain a significant role in the politics of your own country what would you do to help improve mens rights situationsFighting inequality by erasing men. Wow. | /r/MensRights | 14/12/23 09:26 PM
If you could gain a significant role in the politics of your own country what would you do to help improve mens rights situationsIn Poland I would Make the retirement age equal for men and women (right now 60 for women, 65 for men). Make the retirement pensions be calculated with the gender specific life expectancy (right now calculated with an average life expectancy for men & women, meaning women get higher pensions than they should at the expense of men) Equilze rules governing admission to prisons. Right now women automatically by law get better conditions and lower security prisons. Make the work norms the same for m… | /r/MensRights | 14/12/23 02:16 PM
If you could gain a significant role in the politics of your own country what would you do to help improve mens rights situationsI don't quite understand, if you have the will would you care to explain some more? Also the term is neutral but applies to women only? | /r/MensRights | 14/12/23 01:45 PM

Why are only women allowed to set boundaries? How do you feel about this case? https://www.reddit.com/r/relationships/comments/7c411v/i_24_m_am_having_trouble_handling_my_girlfriends/?rdt=53725 The guy basically got told he has no say and is a controlling asshole. I feel like he is well within his rights and completely justified to just tell her not to do it, break up if she does. But now I fear I am a controlling asshole | /r/MensRights | 16/11/23 11:58 AM
Young Men Are Losers. They Deserve Sympathy, Not Contempt. What a kind title! Nothing makes me feel better as a young man than seeing this kind of thing in the newspapers and on the internet near every day! | /r/MensRights | 30/06/23 10:28 AM
Women using mens restrooms. This is worse than men going into women's bathrooms. In women's restrooms everything private is done in WC cabins. In the men's restroom there are urinals which do not offer that level of privacy. The situation you are describing happened to me many times. I also had this happen but... with a changing room. Four women went in, and when I asked them why they entered they told me that the women's changing room if full. I told them to get out, to which they just laughed asking me mockingly if I fee… | /r/MensRights | 22/03/23 08:22 PM
I’m doing a report on gender issues and I really wanted to get your feedback. What are some specific ethical or moral dilemmas you have faced (or that you know of) where female privilege has hurt men?I am not sure about the question, but I will try to answer anyway. So in highschool we used to have scholarships and grant competitions advertised by the school. There were not a lot of those scholarships and competitions advertised, but nethertheless ALL of them were only for girls. I advocated as much as I could not to have those, or if the school wants to advertise those women-only scholarships, for them to advertise men-only scholarships as well. Of course, there are probably no men-only sch… | /r/MensRights | 08/10/22 11:51 AM
