| 1 | InterestingIf I'm not mistaken it is "a historically". In the past history was pronounced without the h. So. Istory. And "an" was used for words that phonetically started with a vowel. Now we pronounce history with the "h" so we don't need the "an". In a lot of usually higher education circles people tend to us "an history". Because it's different and they think it's sophisticated.
