I think the self control thing is a big one - if there is no reason NOT to bang someone, and you actually got far enough to think it through, then cool. Go for it. But I think once someone does that once or twice they'll have more than enough reasons to not go ahead with it. It's like drinking - when you are underage or you just turn 18 you will probably be down to drink whenever, drink shitty/cheap liquor etc. Give it some time and you maybe dont think its a great idea anymore; you would rather…

I'm curious how low is "low"? 1? 5? Less than 10? I feel like if I were a guy, a girl who's had sex with 6 men, over 7 years of sexual activity is way less "slutty" than a girl who's been with 4 guys but only been sexually active for 6 months.

Because even with hard work sexual value decreases with age.

Nope, dog person. Dogs >>>> people anyway so I'm okay fading into sexual obscurity with good canine company.

I would definitely agree, and I would say that most of the feminist literature out there says that women's bodies shouldn't be vilified or made dirty or inherently sexual - eg dress codes in middle school, shirtlessness. It makes me wonder, if it were a woman and she were a lesbian drawing the female form...what then? Is it still dirty/wrong/creepy? Is it less creepy because it's a woman? But what if that woman is sexually attracted to women? It's just a ridiculous circular argument. You can't h…

I'm also not american. Neither is OP. Highly possible neither of us really know the average American woman

I said I might know more than the average American woman the OP is referring to who believes that she can still be Michelle Duggar at 40. If they dont have any reason to find out they assume they can all have kids easily post 35 like Halle berry.

I was told that at my current rate and with content observed by ultrasound I will have about 40-50% left before 30. The numbers achieved are averages in the 90% by 30 study. Also hormonal birth control pills can prevent ovulation, which will affect the number of precursor eggs available and skew the results. Even if you have the eggs, they aren't in good shape
/r/TheRedPill20/02/15 03:48 AM

The eggs lost before birth and puberty are null and pointless to a discussion about fertility as they will not be fertilized. Of your actual, viable eggs that are dropped with ovulation and have the chance to be fertilized, the risk of genetic anomalies (trisomy, other nondisjunction) increases after 25 because the remaining portion are not of superior quality. how many eggs you have while in utero is pointless because those will not be fertilized
/r/TheRedPill20/02/15 03:37 AM

They clearly aren't "gone" by 30. You are still ovulating until menopause. But the youngest and highest quality eggs are more than half depleted before 30 but after 25

It isn't about quantity but age and quality. I'm in medical research not obstetrics.

I've sort of had the same friends since high school (grad student now) but the new friends I have made have been few but high value, people that I love very much. Mostly honestly I've met them through school and often bonded over mutual dislikes. I have met a few of my very best university friends through co-op work placements (working at the federal lab) where you are thrown together in a new environment, no longer exactly competing for the same things and it was natural to fall into friendship…

I don't really understand how women can want a partner with sexual status but be unwilling to provide incentive for them to stay, and then get upset when they take advantage of the other options out there. I know my partner has had sex with a lot of women and he still could. For me personally that is a turn on - he chose me, and I am going to make sure he doesn't regret it.

good! I feel like there is so much to be done with the basic female form. Abstract, realism, colour, it's just satisfying. When I put a pen or brush on paper that's what comes out. Partly from dissatisfaction with my own shape. But these women should look back in history at famous works of art. There's a reason we know what the ideal woman looked like for the last 1000 years - it has been immortalized.

Your egg quality severely declines by 27. At that point I believe you have only half of your original eggs left. What is left is older and only getting older which means more chances for genetic anomaly. Regardless of what our society is doing, we are still the most fertile between puberty and about 27. Women who don't want kids until their 30s should consider not having any. We are overpopulated as it is, and really most people aren't so extraordinary that their genes should be passed on. I may…

That's interesting. I definitely understand the biology of it, but I guess it just seems really sad and bleak to me to not want to have sex with the person you're with in a monogamous way. Aside from it being fun and good for you, there's satisfaction in keeping a guy's appetite satiated. Different strokes I guess

Female artist (recreationally, I'm not good) and the female body is one of my favorite themes. I like to play with the shapes, and the shadows. It's just so satisfying. How is that perverted? Are these women saying their own natural biological form is somehow offensive...?

I will never understand this. I think if you don't want to have semi frequent sex with your partner, what is the point? How are you satisfied?

This is why I don't want children. I love my fiancé, we have an excellent relationship and i do not ever want anything to come between us. I don't want our sex lives ruined or our tempers shortened or our time for each other stolen

I care about humanity as a whole and conduct myself accordingly. I couldn't care less abou individual welfare. I think if everyone gave up the women's rights, gay rights, racial rights and just abided by basic human rights we wouldn't have a problem.

Can't even count the number of girls I know who believe whole heartedly that their "best guy friends" (men who want to fuck them but haven't) would kill some other guy at her say so for "hurting her". Like a man is her personal goon squad

Yeah feminism claims to be so pro-strength but has this victim mentality. All I want from feminism is for politics to stay out of my vagina/uterus. Aside from that, I work in health research and am constantly hearing shit about women being under represented in STEM fields (my major was chemistry) and that we make less money... My department (pharmacology) is almost exactly 1/2 and 1/2 and I've seen the payroll paperwork, we all make the same based on our experience and education. I just don't se…

I don't know if 4 years is really that new. But you're right it has a lot to do with other factors, respect, communication, and the fact that we are into the same things. It's multi factorial I think, and as a woman it's always been mostly meh with the occasional wow.

Young children require more carbs than an adult woman, but fruit is also full of sugar so I'm not even sure what her point is. I mean, I am my own priority but I am also Childfree and intend to remain so. If you have children, you should care for them properly, and that include protein, carbs, and fibre with breakfast since lunch in primary school was always kind of lacking

I would add that we want to be cared for, but not doted on. Doting is beta. However I appreciate being cared for - not necessarily financially but just having shit taken care of. Knowing if we travel, he's got shit figured out. He knows where we are going, he's taken care of it. When my health condition had me blackout in a hotel, he got my shit, carried me to a cab and took me to a hospital. I trust him to do what needs to be done especially if I can't do it myself. That's what it comes down to…

I like this question but I would have to say that context is everything.as a rule, in the workplace I am not there to make friends. Research can be competitive and even though I get along with my one peer in my area, she is the competition. This is true regardless of sex. That said I have a handful of very close female friends. Most of them are more attractive, a few are smarter or more talented. This doesn't change our relationship, and thanks to the fact that we all have dramatically different…

The best thing ican say having been in a very similar spot, is just maintain whatver relationship you are comfortable with. If this is just texting and calling once in a while then by all means. It's about maintaining your own mental health at this point. Personally, my experiences have just reinforced my Childfree stance. I want to spend my life cultivating a rewarding career, and a stellar marriage. You can't have it all but make sure that no one but you pays for that choice

Wow I read that secret too and I was stunned. I feel like this is probably the same woman who would be miserable if her partner didn't say she was hot etc. I personally love when my boyfriend "objectifies" me etc. It makes me feel amazing, and I also know that he loves me and he is committed so it isn't sexual harassment. This woman is deluded. Sexual harassment is when you're working at your first job at 15 and the older man from another store comes in and begins touching you inappropriately an…

That's the same way I think - if you don't do everything you can to stop it from happening it isn't rape. At a friend's apartment, his roommate and I went out for a cigarette. He then pulled my dress down and put his hands in my underwear. I dude-wtf'd right back inside. Because I didn't want that to happen, so I stopped it from happening. If you say no but then say okay or let it happen, it's not really "forced" then

Or encouraging women to DO anything and not be victims who's only tool is the extremely passive "resistance" of NOT shaving, not wearing makeup, not having long hair, etc etc etc. That takes zero effort. Becoming a patient escort for planned parenthood takes work and therefor rape is an easier target

My grandma has legit PTSD from being raped and abused by a family me member as a toddler until she was 14. She suffers every day. The only thing that helps a bit is medical marijuanna and even then her paranoia, agoraphobia etc is barely manageable. When these people say they have PTSD from being "fat shamed" (can't even touch that one) it makes me rage.

This makes me sad. Sad for men, like my brother, my friends. And sad for normal women who want to have normal sex with men who don't have to fear for their freedom. I've noticed also that when girls claim someone raped her and it's one of these dubious accounts, she will rarely if ever say so to his face or admit it around him. Because he would be obviously and rightly shocked and furious to know what she's saying behid his back. If this were the other way around, and guys said "I didn't even wa…

I sort of define rape as when you did everything in your power to stop it. You made a scene, you left, pushed scratched whatever, and if he still gets it in, and you can't fight him off, that's rape. A guy grabbig your ass on the bus is sexual harassment, not rape. Going along with it after he keeps trying despite a no, that's your fault

I've had sex with a couple men where they are completely afraid to do anything. "Okay should we do this now? Is this okay? Should we move?" Like man stop asking permission and just fuck me already. If it's not okay I'll say so! They're so nervous about being called out for "rape" and take "communication" to the level where sex is a negotiation. Just turn me over and if I don't want to do that I'll get up. Jesus.

That's so gross. Plus it minimizes actual victims of rape. My ex spent 5 years having sex with me while I slept, forcing anal, doing it when I said no. This was nonconsensual but it wasn't rape. I could have started screaming and kicking but it was easier to not make him angry. That was my choice. If a guy didnt try to fuck those women they would probably end up with a self esteem complex.

I'm a strong independent woman... Who needs/wants/loves a man who takes charge and handles shit. When we travel, he takes care of the documents and areangements and transport. Since I am a grad student (medical research) he handles the traditional stuff and I cook, clean and drag his ass to the doctor. It's a good place to be.

This is why I think "trans" women are not women and shouldn't be treated as such in many circumstances - this, beauty pageants and medical situations. I'm sorry (not sorry) but your male biology will change your medical story - meds, treatments, preventative care.

That first one really drives me nuts. It's like, don't tell me that every time I have drunk/slightly intoxicated sex it's rape. That's bullshit
