| 0 | Be A Man-The Dilemma of toxic masculinityI think you exhibit what is the external behavior that is called toxic masculinity. I think you don't like the fact that you exhibit this behavior and that's fair but I think you feel like you're being victimized by people calling it toxic. So you get triggered when someone calls it toxic. Instead of spending your time fighting the word toxic, rather spend the time healing the wounds that cause the toxic behavior, then you wont get triggered so easy. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/21 06:26 AM |
| 1 | Be A Man-The Dilemma of toxic masculinityYou didnt read it, shame, it was an interesting article. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/21 06:11 AM |
| 1 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.I think ignoring certain issues does more of a disservice to men than facing them. Being sensitive about what to call those problems is ignoring the problems. I want health and wellbeing for all men and women. I find here too many guys cry about the victimhood of men yet wont look at the roots of the issues because of a perceived name-calling. This is not misandry is a limited tolerance for imaturity. | /r/MensRights | 15/04/21 06:03 AM |

| 2 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.That's not what I said at all. Toxic masculinity is behavior that men believe is masculine, have been taught is masculine but is actually toxic and damages everything around them. Its learned from being wounded by the older men in their lives that also had no idea what healthy masculinity was. When a woman is being shallow about a mans height she is being shallow, she is more interested in what he looks like rather than who he is, that is NOT toxic masculinity... | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:46 PM |
| 1 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.You're right bullying has nothing to do with gender, however most women I know don't understand how men can be so mean to each other. I have to explain its motive and context that makes the difference. The difference is if you cross that line with a man, violence might follow, if you cross that line with a woman a different form of abuse will follow. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:43 PM |
| -3 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.Yes you guys say that a lot, almost like you think if you say it enough people like me will believe that there is an even amount of aggression and violence by women towards men that end in injury compared to that by men against women. Is that what you're saying? Don't get me wrong there are some women that are aggressive and dangerous and that would also be toxic masculinity in them. But please enough with its an even thing.... | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:40 PM |
| -2 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.You think its the same thing? Really? Interesting... | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:35 PM |
| 0 | Be A Man-The Dilemma of toxic masculinityDid you actually read the article or did you do what too many men do, ignore the problem? | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:27 PM |
| -5 | Be A Man-The Dilemma of toxic masculinityI'm not insulted by it, maybe there is something in there you need to look at? | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:26 PM |
| 1 | Be A Man-The Dilemma of toxic masculinityIt is a good article, especially when it goes to young boys and how we proceed from here. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 04:26 PM |
| -8 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.Well the differences are quite specific so to ignore them is really unhelpful. I find this is a way men hide behind the behavior that is specific to them and that only they can deal with within the circles of men. Its a cop out. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 10:43 AM |
| -4 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.(toxic) Poisonous, very harmful or unpleasant in a pervasive or insidious way. But in men it can be dangerous, aggressive and physically harmful. Toxic femininity can be more psychologically harmful. It is caused by wounding the child, by creating an environment that confuses or even distorts what healthy forms of the masculine and feminine are. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 10:37 AM |
| -12 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.I agree with you. I do believe that there has been a wounding of many men that is expressed in a behavior that is toxic. Your example is in that area. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 09:49 AM |
| 9 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.It is a battle to discern true real toxic behavior from the accusations leveled at any behavior that is masculine but not popular with feminists. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 09:47 AM |
| -10 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.I disagree, I also think there is such a thing as toxic feminine behavior. Both behaviours come from the same place, a wounding, but are expressed in ways that are particular to masculine and feminine energies. | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 09:45 AM |
| 3 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.You didn't answer the question. Can those masculine behaviors if shaped by a wounded personality be expressed in a toxic way? | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 09:42 AM |
| 10 | Just another feminist being a lying hypocrite. In other news, today is a day ending in y.Just out of curiosity do you guys believe that there is such a thing as masculine behavior that is toxic? Or 'Toxic masculine behavior' or 'toxic masculinity'? | /r/MensRights | 14/04/21 09:10 AM |

| -1 | I find it so insanely frustrating to hear women say "That's not real feminism"So the danger with MensRights is for this to become a binary game. I think this is missing the point entirely. Some men are over the top MensRights idiots and are the same as the over the top feminist idiots. And I can say that those men are doing harm to the goal of equality because they want to create a binary us or them game. To make a difference we all need to come to the middle. If you listen to what woman are saying, there is truth, and we need to listen. It's the same from women, they nee… | /r/MensRights | 13/04/21 06:27 AM |

| 1 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...Sorry I don't follow. I said you can hide behind semantics. It wasn't what I was doing but I know you can do it because I've done it in the past. What do you mean? The person using semantics to block progress is not actually cared about semantics. | /r/MensRights | 12/04/21 12:13 PM |
| 1 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...I used to do it when I was younger and stupider, so i know you can do it, especially to women. But again motive is key and you cant pick up quickly when someone is genuinely wanting to understand or not. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 03:33 PM |
| 1 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...Ahhhhh context is very important :-) | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 03:30 PM |
| 2 | Why is it considered wrong to commit female circumcision, to the point of it being illegal in many US states, yet the practice of male circumcision is still widely practiced and hardly a peep about it?You think they equate to the same thing? Seriously? Maybe a little bit more investigation on your part... | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 03:25 PM |
| 1 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...I do get how semantics can be used to perpetually not engage. However if your understanding of the words is not agreed on by everyone in your own group then there needs to be a conversation. You can also pick up motive pretty quick when someone is derailing a conversation with semantics. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 10:06 AM |
| 1 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...This is why I asked, because a patriarchy is actually a society where the male lineage was followed as the prime family dynamic. This does mean that there was already a visible imbalance. The patriarchy you described is a later adaptation. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 08:29 AM |

| 2 | What is Patriarchy? r/MensLib moderator things this is semantics and not worth discussing...I'm always willing to try, but there was no point really... | /r/MensRights | 08/04/21 04:28 PM |
| 1 | I'm sorry if this is off topic. But what is with other men's subs on reddit being more concerned with maintaining the image of feminism than with the lived experiences of men?Mmmmm I asked for clarification on what patriarchy was because they seemed to user to to mean different things. My post was removed and they explanation was that asking for meaning and clarification was pedantic. I understand what was meant because you can hide behind a game of meaning but you an also hide behind a game of fluid meanings. Neither are useful and the only way around it would be to establish motive or have your meaning already established. I really want to be useful and helpful but… | /r/MensRights | 08/04/21 09:59 AM |
