I would suggest male stereotypes place men as the dominant and in control with women being submissive. Can we agree that stereotypes are not who we are but who drive who we are. I work with many wonderful boys and men. I’ve seen the best and worst of men in work. Al violence is wrong but to address specific interventions are needed. World health org identifies what works and a public health approach is best to respond. In UK all of violence reduction units (vru’s )are working with boys and men. What’s wrong with ngos working with women. In Scotland we have dayenrs network. I know of lads need dads. Lots of violence reduction units in England focus on male victims and reducing the threat if violence. Yes there are many NGOs but this is woken mobilising to help Victims.
