Welcome to modern times, where we are still expected to act like men, but can get ruined by any women we talk to. I can only say, not only are you worthy of any women, the fact that you are looking for a worthy partner and not a hook up speaks volumes. Women, these are the kinds of men you are disparaging. Think about what you are actually fighting for.

Why is Australia like this? It's one of the coolest places on earth with some of the coolest people. It's a hard enough life without blaming 1/2 the population for all the problems. I think Aussie men are going to have to start speaking out. It just keeps getting worse and worse.

I asked several female co-workers this question. If you walked into a room and saw a man crying, how serious would you think the situation is? All answered very serious. Same question with a woman elicited more of a 'well, it depends on the circumstances'. I then followed up with "Is there anything attractive about a crying man?" Not one person, man or woman, thought a crying man was attractive. So, ladies, we know the deal. We open up just enough. We don't want to cry or bitch, let us just get …

I know men did not suck. I was there. It's what the 'message' at the time was. All people struggled. That's the point. The message has shifted so drastically that the newest generation sees right through it. It went from 'Men should do better' to "men cause all the problems in the world" and no one is buying that anymore.

Absolutely. My son is much more aware of the inequality of the treatment of the two 'equal' sexes. I'm Gen X and men sucked and women were mistreated, but we figured it out and treated women as equals. Somewhere along the line, the idea that women being mistreated was actively being worked on and legally everyone was equal, that went underground. Because everything wasn't 50/50 not only do men suck, white men are sexist AND racist etc etc etc. Shocking honestly. Thought my generation always did …

Actual companionship and family. Families are the whole point. It's why we exist-to make more humans. I've raised two men, 23 and 21, and can say I've done something right for the world. I've left it off better than when I started. It's something that has to be experienced to really understand. I hope you find someone to make life more interesting and fulfilling. You don't need anyone, but if you do find someone, you'll know why it's worth it.

Luckily, you don't have to. You can survive and thrive alone today. It's not ideal, though. We are made to pair. Don't give up yet. There are normal, great people out there-you have to be open to it, though. I will tell you, it's worth it. You may not believe me, but it truly is.

I understand your point, but it's reality. We are animals. It's not slavery. It's mutual work for survival. We cannot survive without each other. (as a species) We, males, evolved to fight and hunt, build and protect. That's what hundreds of thousands of years of evolution has created. Women are caregivers. It's in their nature. That's why women tend to focus on people and men tend to focus on things. What we need is an appreciation of men. A logical "wow, men do EVERYTHING" kind of thing. What …

You, sir, have a responsibility. You are a man. You protect and serve. You don't complain. You do your job to the best of your ability. There is no higher calling than to be a man. We make sure that women and children live as safely and happily as possible. We make the world, we are responsible for it. No, it's not easy, but great things never are. You have the opportunity to change the world, if you dare the risk. What becomes of you is up to you. Take charge of your life and don't let anyone e…

It's all a giant tea party. We play pretend to make them feel better. It's one of the reasons for neo-pronouns. That's just children playing pretend and we, as men, well, no harm no foul, right? If we express our confusion, well, we're now bigots. If we say "It's just a phase." that would probably get us cancelled. So, we sit back at the party and watch the children play, keeping an eye out. If the girls want to play ball, great! If the boys want to wear a dress.....fine.... They've started to c…

A single, well adjusted man isn't supporting a woman or family. If we don't, they're fkd. We should try "The Feminist Utopia Experiment". Get a beautiful, lush island and put 50 women on it with enough supplies to build shelter, hunt food, make an outhouse, etc...hell, even give them the plans, step by step. It'd be Survivor all over again. Society is 1/2 women. They don't like anything that threatens their way of life. So they demonize and ridicule alternatives to being the support system for c…

This has been the way for centuries. It is sustainable. What happens when there's a war? A good % of the working age men die, but things go on. The sad reality is that this system works and will continue working.

There is an elementary school across the street and parents will never be reasonable about they safety of their children. While I agree this is a terrible way to go about expressing your concerns, it's not the most egregious thing I've seen. At least there's a logical reason..... Man, I would be bumming if either of my sons felt this way. I hope that my sons feel more that I prepared them to step out on their own. They won't replace me, they will surpass me. My dad was gone when I was 3 so I never had this opportunity. I feel no less for it, in fact, I am a better man than my father, having learned from his life how to live my life. I started a completely different answer, but realized half way thru that men are the ones who shouldn't want to get married. Women WANT marriage-one way ticket to security. For men, one way ticket to the poor house. Damn..... I personally think marriage is important. I understand all the logical reasons it's dumb and ancient, but there's a reason it's still around. It's next level commitment, which makes a difference.

I cannot disagree on an intellectual level-this too, shall pass has been kind of a motto of mine. But emotionally, no. I love my life. I'm not giving this life up without a fight. The world is better every day. Less war, less poverty, more education, more tolerance. Compared to anytime in history, we live like gods. It's one of the first signs of a collapsing civilization. It's a big picture worry, a trend that we have seen before. Ancient Rome for example. No marriages, less children, less people over all. Technology stagnates. Growth stagnates. Businesses close, systems shrink and fall apart...it's not a good thing.

Wow. Men are just the worst. Women have obviously progressed and grown (you go, girl!) men have stayed the same or gotten worse. Love the fact that she thinks the best possible scenario is an indifferent husband. Not a loving man, not a great husband and father, no, just an indifferent husband. From my life experience, I would say the opposite is true. Men seem to weather any little injury without issue, but women......let's say they do not. I think this is a case of 'Sure, sure women are better...of course, honey' Not denying childbirth, but besides that, which women are evolutionarily designed for, men seem, IMHO, to handle pain better.

The bottom line is choose your partner carefully. There are a lot of normal woman who are wonderful-look for partner, not a hookup. Women are not all the same. Don't treat them like they treated us. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Ok, but that's not going to happen. Maybe 1% of women would go through anything like that. I'm not sure why you're going this direction-it's not a debatable point. You're arguing from exceptions. When we discuss thinks like the future of the military we need to stick to reality and what is going to happen, not what-ifs. If we're talking about body strength, we can't be concerned with 10% or less of the population. We have to concentrate on the 90%.

Infantry is incredibly important. Being a grunt isn't going anywhere, no matter how modern the warfare. Logistics require the moving of massive amounts of equipment all over the place. Strength is very important. Even the Airforce had an issue-women pilots couldn't handle the weight of the helmet with all the G forces. I'm not bagging on women. I'm just stating facts about being in the military. It's insanely physical. There are standards and anyone who cannot meet the standards shouldn't get in…

sigh....love that. Let's stay respectful. Then you call me a troll, call my logic flawed and question if I'm a man. Nice. You are obviously not a man, because men understand women and children first. It's built into us. It's not a cultural thing, it's instinctual. We are literally evolved to protect women and children. That is one of males primary functions, for all of evolution. Hundreds of thousands of years. We can't change that because it's unfair or not right. It is. The average woman has 5…

With the push to recruit women, they had to lower the standards. We've already seen what happens-we have to rig the game for them to qualify. It's been this way through out all of humanities existence. Why would it be different now?

That's just not true. There is a large difference between muscle mass, bone density, height, weight etc. Sure a small percentage, let's say 10% of women could get to the same level, but it's not equal in any way. There are dozens of studies which conclude this, over and over. It's not a debated point. The whole Venus and Serena Williams facing the 203rd ranked man shows what I'm talking about. Please look it up. Do the research. Women athletes know this. That's why there's a real issue with incl…

Sorry but there's a point I can't agree with. It's the idea that 'some men are stronger than women and some women are stronger than men'. No. Men are stronger than women. Of course not every case, but the VAST majority. It's gaslighting to use that language. It's just not true. "Firstly, women had lower maximal strength values when compared to men at bench press (−59.2%), squat (−57.2%), deadlift (−56.3%), and mid-shin pull (MSP, −53.2%). In addition, lower levels of power were detected in femal…

Absolutely. It's what would happen anyway. Still means that most will not get flown into warzones, but will serve in some capacity. Women have always stepped up during wartime. I really don't have a worry about that. Rosie the Riveter was a thing for a reason. Remember that most people are just normal humans, trying to get by and do the right thing.

Understandable. That's not our nature. We are built to fight and protect. We can't help it. The good men I know are all self sacrificing. Every man should not work for one day. That's all it would take, but the toll would be devastating. So, we'll never do that, we'll continue to be the whipping boy of society because they're all safe. We're doing our job. Yeah, it's all going to shit, but we'll end up fixing that eventually. Gotta protect after all.

I'm ok with that. It should be based on a physical/psychological rating, rather than just sex. Women should serve in whatever capability they can. Men are designed for war. We are physically adapted for it much more so than women. It's built in, part of our nature, our psychology. Just look at the media men consume vs. what women consume. Superheros, sports, action movies vs romance, true crime fashion. I'm, of course, not saying all men or women. But the majority. We are always preparing for so…

Would you favor it if it turned out to be detrimental to the capabilities of our military? I wouldn't be in favor of anything that lowers the standards of our soldiers. Just because it's fair doesn't mean it's the correct thing to do. Life is not fair. Women and men are different. Physically and mentally. We are not the same. It's obvious, but we ignore it because it's not nice. Men are much stronger than women. "Studies indicate that among a group of men and women, each weighing 140 pounds (to …

That's one of the problems. They started to lower standards to allow more women in. In all the branches. And it's still not enough. There's a reason certain jobs are done in the majority by specific sexes. Physically challenging jobs require the strongest people. OPs and snipers require a completely different set of skills. Let's put the best, most qualified candidate in the position that makes most use of their skill, regardless of sex. That's the only way to do this so we have a strong militar…

It all depends on circumstances. If the person is attractive, it's not perceived as strange. There are a million ways to approach a person. Have you ever used a dating app? Those are much sketchier and trashier and that's how people are meeting these days. Not even in person. A picture and a text message. Often it's just to have sex....that is NOT classy, not good for the people involved. It makes sex cheap and easy, which is gross and demeaning. Sex is being treated as inconsequential when it h…

Approaching full on strangers is how millions of couples get together. It's how friendships start....geez...this just makes me sad. Is that how you think life works? Everyone has a social circle? Unfortunately, what will happen, and is happening, is that men and women will lose all the ways they usually meet. Men are learning that approaching a woman is now more dangerous than just rejection. You can get seriously fked, possibly arrested. So, what's the take from society? Let's teach men another thing NOT to do. It's wrong and they should feel bad. I suppose that's one way to phrase it. We don't 'breeze' through life. We suffer through it. We have to let go so many emotional bumps and bruises, yes we're used to it-life is hard and men are taught that early....or should be. We've protected women from all those bumps and bruises and they are fragile, but it's not a good thing at all. Because, again, life is hard and if you keep tearing down the barrier that keeps all life's crap at bay, don't blame us when it all comes tumbling down. But the…

Totally agree. It's almost amusing how obvious the parallels to spoiled children are. Western society is an overbearing mother and women are the golden child. The narcissism, the entitlement, the expectation...it's classic spoiled child. It's not just women, it's GenZ in general. While I understand that, in the big picture, the system is detrimental to women's personal development and growth, it is still hard not to chaff and resent years of this. It's never a good idea to be angry or upset when discussing issues this complex, agreed. When is it worth pushing back, though? It's been decades of this. I've watched men, as a whole, get tarnished in every possible way, all the while building the roads, taking out the garbage, putting out the fires, building the infrastructure - all the crap that makes this life possible. Actually, I would say women are much more capable of causing harm. Just because the harm isn't physical doesn't mean it's not harm. A word can be just as devastating as a blow. And words are free and lack the consequence of physical altercations. Women, they're pretty good with those devastating words. And they don't seem to mind using them. Often. Whereas the average man almost never get into a physical confrontation because it's unacceptable.

It takes hard work and persistence. If you stop you will never see a change. I worked out for 3 years in my teens. The difference was massive. It's much easier when you're younger, but the idea is the same. Discipline. If you keep going, you WILL see a difference. Is it easy? Hell, no. It sucks. That's not the question. The real question is 'How bad do you want this?'

Seems like victim mentality. Finding something to be a victim of and doubling down when someone disagrees. Uncircumcised was the norm for hundreds of thousands of years. It obviously works, didn't look weird to the millions of women who saw all those things and hygeniene issues couldn't be the norm or it wouldn't have evolved that way. It's a cultural thing. You deal the hand you're dealt. A lot of people get a raw deal in life. A circumcised dick is not causing anyone long term harm, sex is jus…

While you are correct, that women have more rights than men, the hyperbolic nature of your argument allows people to nitpick your semantics and ignore the actual message. If you would just take out things like "anyone who disagrees is wrong and immoral." and "Mutilating an infants genitals is worse than raping a baby." it would be much stronger. Try not to use opinions when you are arguing factually. You have a great list of facts (btw don't forget the military, dangerous jobs in general etc). Y…

That's one take on it. I prefer to think we have too much honor to be so selfish. A man's existence is to protect women. Almost everything in civilization is around this concept. That's the reason we've put up with this demonization for so long. We don't give a damn as long as the women are safe. That includes them being happy...their happiness is more important to us than our physical well being. It's how men are built. And we'll put up with amazing amounts of BS from women, because in the end …

It's because men are not appreciated. Everything we do, we do to make women happy. All we won't is some recognition, a 'good job' once in a while and for fucks sake, loyalty. We need to know you have our back. One reason for men's stoicism is as stated below. When we confide in women, it get's thrown back at us as a weapon later. We open up to our male friends because it doesn't come back to haunt us. Men are also quiet because we don't that much to say.

It's loneliness. Look, it's not a male only issue. People don't want to be alone, it makes them sad, which, for some, makes them mad. We are a tribal species. When you are not accepted, it's a primal pain. If you have any kind of tribe, life is livable. But when you don't, things get desperate. You either lash out or latch on.

I would bet he hasn't had to change a tire or installed...anything besides software. Men and women choose different life paths. Men work more hours. Men take more dangerous, more stressful, less desirable jobs. Why have the ratios of men to women in sanitation remained consistent since 2016? 20% women. Honestly, if there was a city populated by only women, I honestly think it would collapse pretty fast. What I find sad is that there is so many positives about being a man, things I guess we take for granted. Like responsibility, honor, hard work, not complaining etc. Those seem built in. It's not why men are bigger. I do think it's why men talk less, express emotion less, take more risks and make more hard decisions. All those things are necessary for a successful hunt. Color vision developed in women because it became a matter of survival to differentiate between shades of color or you could poison your tribe. Talking more may have evolved as a way to constantly check on all the members to make sure they're all still alive. I find it funny that many women denigrate men while li…
