Yes, I would love some. This is something I struggle with.

Thanks, this was very needed. I was definitely guilty of this. I also prefer the mutual 'do we have a connection' over 'do I like her/ does she like me.'

For now, though, did any of these texting challenges resonate with you. Have you ever caught yourself overthinking messages too? Drop a comment. Let’s talk. Yes all the time, reading your post is eye-opening. It does read like an ad though.

This is a common problem not limited to seduction: John: 'I have problem x(=complicated, personal, feelings, thoughts, identity, past experiences...).' this person is often looking for empathy, understanding, validation. James: 'Just do y(=simple), easy' this person might not know how to empathise or might not want to, saying something simple actually fixes their problem of having to deal with John's annoying ass. If John's really unlucky he might even start trying to follow James' advice, James…

Good critique I do believe his book is a good framework to start with. Do you have a recommendation for a book that deals with the third category?

Thanks u/DaygameCode , this post is eye-opening. I thought I had gotten better, yet I definitely do some version of these still. Especially the seeking clarity thing.

This is a great post, thanks u/DoriansLost Giving examples really makes it more clear. I can immediately recognize that in my own chats I'm too much of a nice guy, afraid of breaking rapport, always pulling -> BORING I would love to see more examples, especially where a woman is only a little interested in the beginning. Here they seem quite hot from the start. I love how you emphasize to take this post as inspiration instead of copying it word by word and to consider all the different variables…

When do you feel infatuated and when bored? Can you connect it to anything? I felt similar with my ex. I felt infatuated when it had been a while since I saw her, or when we were physical. However I found our conversations boring.

Brother you have to lead, start escalating. Message her back, give her a compliment. Propose to call/facetime. Propose a date...

You're putting too much pressure on yourself. All of this is supposed to be fun otherwise it's not sustainable. It's not a black or white thing either, it's a path. Are you able to return eyecontact? Great! Give them a smile? You could also experiment with signalling them to approach you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
