Maybe it's technically legal to hit your children, but this very much depends on how. Everywhere probably allows spanking, most places allow smacking or even switch/paddling in some states. But I don't know many places where you could be legally justified closed-fist punching your child. All of it's fucked up regardless. But even if CPS wouldn't be interested in only the one occurrence. If there's a pattern of physical abuse, and likely I assume, emotional abuse, I'm sure there could've been inv…

Just smacks across the face, bloody noses, both parents somewhat pummeling me at the same time. I hate to be the one to tell you man, but that's fucking bad. Like sure they didn't keep you chained in a basement or something, but that's unacceptable behavior in any circumstance. Like CPS would have had every right to get you out of there.

I'm gonna be honest, I understand the words you wrote, but not for the life of me can I figure out what the fuck you're saying

Almost literally none of it is true I'm afraid. I'm very sorry for the ways you grew up that helped instill those tendencies, it's not uncommon and no one's going to harshly judge you for your life experiences. We are all partially a product of our environments, but at the same time we must try to re-evaluate ourselves and grow as much as we can. And when I say grow, I don't mean move up in socioeconomic status, I mean become more complete, empathetic, healthier people. Thinking women, or anyone…

Work on being a healthy, well rounded, happy person. That's it. That's the secret. Like a lot here have said, real dating advice is really no different from life advice. Think of others as people with their own talents, dreams, history, and worth. Understand that you can learn and grow from everyone, and everyone has things to offer and experiences that you don't, and likewise.

I think this is also a byproduct of not seeing the full person when they look at women. You need to see the humanity in other people, not just the outside. A "hot" girl with a terrible attitude gets ugly pretty quick, and an "average" girl with a good attitude only gets prettier.

Women have a higher sense of self worth Absolutely false. and want someone they find attractive and enjoy being around. That's the definition of attraction. Sounds like they're healthier than they once were I have no idea how "they once were". Unless you're talking about The very necessary steps taken in the pursuit of women's rights. If only we could get guys to stop being so toxic and improve their own sense of self worth. We should absolutely tell men to be less toxic, but some of that toxici…

There's no time limit. 25, 18, 30, it doesn't fucking matter. You're not racing anyone. Try to focus less on others, cause they literally matter less to your life than you do. You're your own main character. Try to find people who share interests with you, friends who'll make you feel valued. Give no fucks and be your best you despite the world.

Questions like these are always so depressing cause they are insane from the start. It sad to see how many people have been taken in by such false and destructive ideologies. But good that they are looking for a way out at least.

Certainly fits for my friend who is redpill adjacent. Parents divorced when he was young, had to deal with younger siblings picking sides, had to see through bullshit, raised by his dad (who's a cop). Always been suspicious, on the defensive, and prone to conspiracy theories (not like flat earth but soy and testosterone stuff). He's got a good heart and his family is more cohesive now, but that childhood trauma helped shape him I believe. Getting a stable relationship with a good person certainl…

I forget who said it, but there was a quote (I'll butcher) from an author when someone asked how he wrote women so well, ""I just write a person, and then make them a woman."

Romantic relationships aren't dying, you may just be misunderstanding them. Do not assume movie romanticism is real life. You can still be charming and smooth don't get me wrong, but a lot of romantic movies/pop culture pass off harassing and/or stalking behavior as "cute". It's not, it's weird. It's easy to think you're a nice guy who can't catch a break when you're really a r/niceguys if you know what I mean. I've been there before, I'm a hopeless romantic too. But then I learned that a lot of…

Sorry but "general trends" is made up anecdotal evidence that you've decided to see in the world. Sorry but your idea of "Evolutionary psychology" is right next to phrenology, optimal genes, and other bullshit that has no scientific basis. Also wtf is "blackpill science"? Like seriously I've never heard anything that sounds like it exists less. Redpill is a bunch of posers hucking their shitty attitudes to vulnerable people they can manipulate. Blackpill is just the slump people get into when th…

If that's a personal goal you want to work on, go for it. But you don't need to be Bruce Lee low to see changes in that, just normal "in good shape" low. Other than that the only things you can do for your face is work on your hygiene, hair, or if you're super determined, surgery. But that's on the far end of spectrum.

Unless you're a gym rat, and even maybe then, don't pay fuckall attention to your body fat percentage. Yes being in shape makes you more attractive. No being in shape does not mean looking like a himbo. Just regular exercise and basic exercise, to keep you in a normal range of good fitness, is enough.

If you're looking on Instagram for how people really look, that's already not ideal. People put filters and angles and whatever they can to look good online. Much different from up close from multiple angles. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'd probably agree with your selection. But my point stands that a lot more goes into it.

My issue is with that labeling like "average" and "hot". That's super subjective. Also really misleading as far as making that the standard of what you should want. You should absolutely not try to be with the hottest person you can. If that's your reasoning it will 100% end badly. You should try to be with a person you are attracted to, but more importantly, that you get along well with. Who you can open up to and share things with, who's a good friend. That's the foundation of a good relations…

I mean, that's kinda what I'm talking about. Looks matter and don't matter pretty much the same for men and women. And most of that is honestly not genetic, it's how you carry yourself, your personality, your hygiene, your fitness, if your clothes fit. That's what worries me. I see sentiments like "well if you're not an attractive male then you should accept that attractive women won't be into you". And that's a gross oversimplification (and potentially damaging) when there's actually a lot in y…

I mean, everyone likes attractive people. That's the meaning of "attractive". You can do what's in your power to make yourself more attractive. Get in shape, hygiene, confidence. But the absolute BIGGEST thing they seem to miss is that they have a shitty attitude. No one is attracted to that. And personality can make up a LOT of ground for appearance.

Right on man. Sort out the important things and everything else falls into place.
