Murrey also has a GoFundMe. As one might assume, it hasn't received anywhere close to the publicity that the other one has, so it hasn't raised much money. I sent the link to the mods of this sub, but I am not sure if they understood or looked at it, so it might not be okay to post the link.

Have you ever thought of asking the other person if he wanted your help?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/22 01:41 AM
1

You said that with the first rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/22 09:50 PM

I said "once." Look at the comment prior to yours. I agree - if you seek multiple rejections. If they are imposed upon you with "find someone else -- anyone -- just not me" as a form of "encouragement," that is tantamount to rejection assault. I keep saying this. How can I make it clearer?

Keyword there was “once.”

I have already said numerous times that a person rejecting you once is normal.

Rejection is normal. It becomes debilitating when it is repeatedly pounded in.

I am talking about hurt feelings and damaged confidence, not whether it is legitimate for John to continue pining after Mary. That issue is already resolved, unfortunately for John.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 06:49 PM
1

If John is pining for Mary, and Mary has let John know that he is inadequate, then his confidence is wounded, which is normal, legitimate and unfortunate, but fair. Coming back and pushing him into the arms of "I don't know who, anyone else, just not me" is tantamount to repeatedly rejecting him and further damaging his confidence. As a result, he is going to have a much more difficult time healing from multiple confidence stab wounds, and finding a “more compatible partner.” Best thing for John…

I am not questioning their concern as a friend. If you really care about your friend's happiness, don't drive the knife in deeper when they are already hurt and vulnerable (which is normal and they have every right to be that way). If you want to be helpful, do it right.

I just want to check in and make sure you understand what I am saying - it's a bad idea to encourage someone who wants to date you to date other people. I added a sentence to the end of my last comment which you may or may not have caught before you replied. I just want to make sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 11:46 PM

While that's true, the relationship my post is addressing is that of one person who wants to date the other, and the other person who does not want to date the first person but wants to encourage them to date other people. By encouraging someone you find inadequate, you are just pressing the other person's inadequacy on them. This needs to be said, because that would likely be the opposite of your intention. You are tanking the other person's self-esteem and making them less datable.

First, finding someone to fuck one time is much, much easier than finding someone to be emotionally intimate with. Continuing to phrase it as people who "don't want to fuck you" is kind of crude and totally beside the point. In terms of an LTR, nobody is "universally inadequate." One can always find a partner as long as they are willing to continue lowering their standards. Telling your friend that they need to do this, even if you use language like "you aren't 'universally inadequate'" just mak…

Remember this scenario? People can point out others' inadequacies, whether it hurts anyone's feelings or not. Often it will, especially if the person being told they are inadequate has reason to feel insecure.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/22 09:06 PM

That's not true. You can always remind another person of their inadequacy even if they don't want to fuck you.

People say mean and terrible things to people all of the time with the rationale that they are trying to "help" them. Sometimes, before opening your mouth, you have to ask yourself if doing so will serve the other person's needs, or your own.

"This man had had the hots for my mom and then ended up setting her up with someone else." That seems like the kind of thing a guy would do. That seems normal to me. A guy who has feelings for a woman and wants to see her happy would set her up with the right guy. I'm not sure women work that way. I don't know, but my impression is that women are more competitive, and wouldn't want to see another woman with a man she likes. Yes, like I said before, I respected her wishes and didn't pursue her. How so? This comment which I posted earlier: "The best situation is having a guy friend, and you have never met his wife, but he decides he wants to fix you up with one of her friends. In that case, I would take him up on that immediately." Maybe it was wrong of me to so narrowly define the guy friend as being married, and fixing me up with one of his wife's friends. I probably should have said the man is already in committed relationship, and wants to fix me up with a woman he knows, friend or …

That's great about your dad and mom getting set up by a male friend. I feel completely validated/vindicated now. Speaking again from personal experience, sometimes one side of the relationship sees more compatibility than the other. One of the absolutely most soul-crushing experiences I had was finding a woman who was everything I ever wanted, but she thought I was "too young" for her. We were less than ten years apart. Other friends, including female friends, thought this "incompatibility" was …

That’s great for your parents. Did you dad get introduced to your mom by a female friend of his? It appears the well-documented concept of unrequited love is completely foreign to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 06:09 AM
1

Platonic friendships don't work when one person has unrequited romantic feelings for the other. This might be the difference between the situation I am talking about, and the situation with you and your guy friend that you mentioned earlier: maybe you and he were never an item, never a prospective item, maybe both of you saw early on that you weren't meant to be. Maybe neither of you was ever terribly attracted to the other. In that case, I can totally see the full package - platonic friendship …

Yes I understand the good intentions. Actually I don’t. I mean, is it really about concern for me, or about her own guilt over my hurt feelings? Does the sympathy serve me, or her own needs? Either way, don’t. I am sure you don’t mean to, but this just hurts the guy more. Women fixing men up with their friends is an entirely different issue. It is a separate thing to avoid. If, for example, a married woman friend came to me and told me she had a friend she wanted to fix me up with, I would immed…

I should have probably stated that better, or at least referred back to the original post: if you won't date me, please do not encourage me to "find someone else." Now, on the other hand, if I believed someone wanted to date me, and I didn't feel the chemistry with her, and she was encouraging me to date people, that would not be as offensive to me. I don't want to expand the conversation to "all women."
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/22 10:54 PM

I don't like it when they placate (assuming that means something along the lines of "offer empty words intended to boost my spirits and validate my worth?") or advise, or encourage. I would prefer if none of this happened. That's the thesis of my post. I don't think anyone sees the whole picture.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/22 06:51 PM

Was the point of all of this to encourage me to date? How was that supposed to work?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/22 05:13 PM

I paid attention to their verbal and non-verbal queues and was generally patient and just wanted to enjoy another person’s company for one night at a time.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/22 05:22 AM

I keep saying this only happened a few times early on. I figured it out and stopped doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/22 09:10 PM
1

Not sure I understand how this encouragement is supposed to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/22 05:15 PM
1

True. I meant that I learned not to continue doing that with future attempts. It was a rookie mistake.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/22 04:19 AM
1

Yeah I get it, but I don't think that was the only problem because I figured it out and corrected.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 11:53 PM
1

I made rookie mistakes like love bombing early on, but learned from them and did better.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 08:31 PM
1

Speaking personally, most of the time I wasn't necessarily given a specific reason, beyond "no chemistry," which is pretty general and vague. I eventually learned not to challenge that for more information, because it was received (not always inaccurately) as negotiation, and once I did that they often became angry, insulting, perhaps even threatened or threatening, and not much more specific. There were also plenty of ghostings. So, sorry, don't have reasons for the trend.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 07:51 PM
1

Hmm do I see where this is going?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 06:30 PM
1

There is clearly a trend. That’s my point. The opinions of one or two people don’t mean much, but when it keeps happening, it seems delusional to think it won’t keep happening. That is where hopelessness sets in.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 05:08 PM
1

Okay, I will play along. In all of my failed attempts, there is one common denominator
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 10:00 AM
1

Maybe my perspective is different because I don't get catcalled daily.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 01:09 AM
1

So, if I was your BFF who didn't care for kids and dogs, and needed some encouragement, and I was sad because the 54th straight attempt in a row failed to launch, your encouragement would be "who cares what those random chicks think of you?"
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 12:41 AM

I don't think a guy insulting your looks after you tell him you won't fuck him is anything at all like the situation I described: of you having an otherwise enjoyable and normal conversation with a guy at a party. Maybe, in that scenario, before he insults your looks, you are finding yourself attracted to him and hoping he asks you out?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 11:50 PM
1

The only way I could imagine this might be true is if you are already in a secure, fulfilling, long-term relationship. Making oneself vulnerable is a prerequisite for an emotionally committed relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 11:29 PM
1

Really? What if a guy you were talking to at a party just told you straight up "I wouldn't date you because you're not pretty enough for me?" Wouldn't your feelings be hurt? Mine would. Wouldn't you take it personally? What if he went on to say "someone else might find you pretty, though. Probably someone of much lower quality who couldn't be as demanding as me?" Would you feel "encouraged?"
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/22 10:53 PM
1

If you encouraged me to date, that would make you my wingman. If you knew I wanted you to suck my dick, and that's where the encouragement was coming from, hell yeah it would be from an insincere place.

If you are hearing the line then she’s has decided you’re not compatible with her. Sometimes incompatibility is due to different values (babies and dogs, as in your case), other times due to inadequacy (not pretty enough, not rich enough, etc.). Incompatibility and inadequacy aren't the same thing, but you keep ignoring this. Words have meaning. Maybe you are absolutely determined not to acknowledge this, in which case you are welcome to have the last word if it makes you feel any better. If I f…

I understand why you feel that way, but it isn't true. I have personally dated a few women where the two of us agreed fairly early on that we worked better as friends. I have also been in situations where I knew her reasons for not wanting to date me had less to do with me than her own values or situation. I agree that incompatibility isn't inadequacy, but sometimes a prospective partner is incompatible, and other times they are inadequate. None of that really matters, though — and for some reas…

I think if your guy friend appreciates the nature of your relationship, great. That works for the two of you, but I wouldn't appreciate it. I would feel like your "encouragement" was just reinforcing any feelings I might have of inadequacy. If he is still pining for you after you pointed out an incompatibility, I would advise him to cut you out of his life. I imagine he is not pining for you and accepts the incompatibility is not a reflection on him or his desirability to women. That's why it wo…

There might be a term for this in psychology. If not, there should be: reinforcing a harmful self-image by reinforcing whatever terrible feelings they have about themselves. Who benefits from this kind of advice - the giver or the receiver? I would posit that the giver is the main beneficiary. The receiver is just left feeling like shit.

How would that work?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/22 09:16 PM

Yes, there would be an exemption for unavailability ("if I were single"). If a single person of the opposite gender thinks "you're a catch" and won't date you, that's a problem, don't you think?

Debunked is a strong word, it is mostly a evidence against. Against what, exactly? It looks like you post a lot of links, which is great -- interesting! -- but it muddies your thesis. Maybe instead of focusing on a very encompassing topic like Red Pill vs. Blue Pill, narrow things a bit? "Red Pill" and "Blue Pill" probably mean different things to different people.

We agree about what toxic masculinity is, but I have encountered many redpilled guys who will insist it means "men are toxic" and consider it an insult to all men. My main point, briefly, is that we should avoid jargon.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/22 02:45 AM

I think people throw around terms like "redpill" and "patriarchy" assuming everyone knows what they mean. I would rather see fewer vocabulary words and more specific practices and beliefs discussed. A great example of this is "toxic masculinity." To many redpill guys, it means that the person who uses this term is a misandrist feminist who thinks "all men are 'toxic.'" To others, including myself, it is a term that gathers a number of behaviors some guys engage in, or beliefs, that are potential…

The likelihood of it happening isn’t the question. The question is whether it is a desirable outcome. Once the desirability is determined, then the likelihood can be assessed. You are hijacking the thread with this comment. Twenty years ago, one might have said gay marriage would never happen in the US. Now it is common and accepted.

That would have made sense in 1947, but women are equal now. Maybe they are more equal than men. All of us want to be treated as though we have value.

What you said - yes. But also, by continuing to pay in today's society, where women are otherwise equal, men are making a statement about their own lack of value. If two equal people want to spend time together, each should pay their own way.

Maybe, but maybe not. Maybe he was looking for, or hoping for, a long-term relationship. Eventually, a long series of one-night stands can leave one feeling empty.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 03:53 PM

Sometimes, but a person with that kind of compassion will put the other person's needs first, understanding that physical intimacy might build emotional intimacy in her one-night-stand partner. She might have chosen, as many women do, to tell him there was "no chemistry" at the end of the one date and sacrifice her own physical needs. Clearly this wasn't happening with OP's girlfriend, either because she is a sociopath or she is mentally a child, which are pretty much two sides of the same coin.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 03:50 PM

All human interactions are based on rewards and punishments. You need stakes. You have to deal with your co-workers on a daily basis, and there is a chance you might feel an emotional attachment of some kind to them. This doesn't apply to a rando you will never see or hear from again after tonight.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/22 03:46 PM

Why do people think everyone is a parent, and their interactions with others operate on a system of “rewards” or “punishments?” Obviously if a guy means nothing to her and she sees no future with him, she can use him as her personal fucktoy once and dispose of him. She is rewarding herself, without any regard for a dude who means nothing to her. Is this not glaringly obvious to everyone here, including OP?

You're right. The problem is that men are often still being trained by women to believe the men have all of the power and privilege. When a man steps up to challenge women who perpetuate these patriarchal preachings, he is shot down and ostracized as an "incel." Sure, it should be the man's responsibility to see past the power of female sexuality, but if they aren't following PPD, who is going to warn them?

You did say that "women tend to want to be around you much more." Whether I want to be a boyfriend or girlfriend, either way with a penis, is immaterial to that point. You should try it sometime. It is a wonderful feeling and women tend to want to be around you much more. Assuming the thing to try that you refer to is to not seek "validation": seeking it and getting it does not produce better feelings than never seeking it. Getting validated feels much better than living day-to-day with the knowledge that you are probably not "valid" (or viable?). Furthermore, women do not want to be around a man who doesn't seek validation, based on my personal experiences. W…

Some of these recent posts strike me as ironic for Red Pilled Women. I didn’t read all of this. It was hard to get past the sex doll part. If it makes you feel any better, we men have to spend thousands of dollars on an entire Giant Malibu Barbie if we want such a thing, while women can have a similar experience with a much less expensive disembodied organ mounted to the floor or a wall.

There is a huge incentive to hide as many mistake RP for misogyny. Lots of RP men go through life with the assumption that every woman they meet is a feminist, especially in urban environments. Have you ever considered attending an International Conference on Men's Issues (ICMI)? You would definitely meet lots or red pilled men (and women) at one of these.

Where in the world are you getting all of these ideas about “red pill” from?????? There is a lot of straight-up fabrication going on here. “Red pill” just means you have found a way to see “the truth” and it changed you. That is all it means. Beyond that, many different people are doing and saying many different things with what they learned. The stuff you wrote about RP men doing what they want while expecting women to submit to them is a new one on me. Maybe there are RP men struggling with a …

Speaking from my own similar-to-OP’s experience, the relationships all work for as long as the facade is maintained, then fail immediately upon it being dropped.

So as long as what someone wants involves caring about what others want, they can do what they want when they want?

I think OP's point is that as soon as he shuts down his alpha facade, his relationships fail. So yes, I think you are correct, an alpha male did not make this post. I am not sure how your reply is helpful when all it does is point out the obvious in an insulting/demeaning manner.

That looks nothing at all like "they do what they want, when they want."

The path to pleasing your partner and having a successful relationship is to not give a shit about pleasing your partner?

You are both wrong. Being vulnerable in a relationship means opening yourself up to pain. If you make an investment in something or someone, and that investment fails, there is pain and loss. This is true whether the investment is material or emotional. Copy/pasted from Dictionary app: vul·ner·a·ble| ˈvəln(ə)rəb(ə)l | adjective susceptible to physical or emotional attack or harm: we were in a vulnerable position | small fish are vulnerable to predators. • (of a person) in need of special care, s…

I agree with you, OP. I have often found myself in this same spot as you, and I wonder if all of the people who are baffled by your post are either female or under 30.

For me, it was when I realized sex was easy to get and basically worthless, and I felt that everyone I didn't want to fall for me did, while everyone I did want to fall for me didn't.

Men simply have to learn never to take dating advice from women. Women should be trained to direct men to other men for dating advice.

Cool, so I have a question, if you don’t mind: knowing as you do now that this information had to be extracted from me following repeated attempts, is it possible I might be perceived as considerably less insensitive than if I blurted it out the first time I was asked?

Fair point. Perhaps I misunderstood. Why is what I posted a bomb you don't want to get near?

They’re not! They’re great. There are other positive facets to them. Red Pill Rage is a legitimate thing. You have been lied to or mislead, and now your life may very well be ruined. But you can’t allow yourself to live in that zone forever. Women are what they are. They are conditioned that way, and lets face it, men conditioned them. So get over it. Knowledge is power, women are people, and people are NOT two-dimensional, single-purpose utilities. Seeking out women for friendship is healthy an…

I tried a variety of ways to avoid the question but these two were persistent. Your methods might be best the first time or two someone asks. FWIW people who say douchebag things and then laugh have pissed me off twice in one sentence. It’s annoying to me, your mileage may vary.

What you said is fair MOST of the time, but remember, these were very persistent women who seemed to demand full, explicit honesty. I didn’t say that the first, second or third time she asked. Most women I know aren’t aware that I am MGTOW and certainly don’t know I have a body type preference.

Well your story didn’t cite feminist transgressions so much as costly mismanagement and abuse of her subordinates, etc. ninety-nine percent you almost could have made her a trad-con man and very few revisions would have been necessary. Still, as I wrote in a prior comment, you did well and I am inspired by your courage!

2.5 times anything is 250% Go read your headline again. Where did you get this statistic anyway? How was it determined? How can anyone know which gender gets ghosted more often? If I wasn’t MGTOW and saw this post, I would think we were mostly dumbasses who probably were too stupid to maintain a relationship, much less handle basic math. Everyone blindly accepts it as true, because victimhood, because misogyny, and once someone points out the the basic error that exposes the entire claim as nons…

I wouldn’t be so harsh if you weren’t so arrogantly doubling down, insisting you are right when you aren’t. Also wtf is this “delete this comment immediately” BS? Who the hell do you think you are? It is either 150% or 2.5 times. Those two values are different.

I will explain so even you can understand 100% of 100 is 100 200% of 100 is 200 50% of 100 is 50 200 + 50 = 250

Lol dumbass AND snowflake = massive fail. Just STFU after you tell us WHERE you got your mathematically crippled fake statistic? PS I am a MGTOW monk.
