Because Girl Scouts doesn't teach any of the cool shit. Boy Scouts teaches survival skills, camping tracking etc. Girls scouts teaches how to bake and rely on others. If given the option for my daughter I'd rather her learn what Boy Scouts offers because it's more valuable material.

Whenever I would go out but not want to get drunk I would go to the waitress or bar directly and tell them that I wasn't drinking but wanted diet coke in a highball glass to keep my friends off my back. Then they would assume I was drinking as much as they were and half the time I wouldn't even be charged for my drinks.

The first Mad Max has his wife as a main character. iirc She's fairly capable of handling herself too. Mad max: beyond thunderdome and The Road Warrior both have female co leads in them. Reminds me of when I crossed paths with the guy who stole my ex fiancé. They were together about a year then she cheated on him too and left.
