I'm 5'10" and always responded with "Bang on average: 5'10". Never went poorly for me. Shows you're confident enough to own your height despite not hitting the mythical six foot mark and removes her ammo to attack you for it. (What's she going to do, reject you for being normal?) If you can honestly pass for 5'10", maybe give something like that a go.

My LTR is a twin and it DOES change some of the fundamental rules. Short version is she wants (and values) his opinion on your vibe and first impression. I'd go with something along the lines of: "I want to get to know you one on one, however we can grab a quick beer/coffee/whatever at 5.30 first if he wants to come and say 'Hi'." Be cool with him and include him while he's there (you need him on your side), but be clear with her when finalising the plans that he's invited to the first part only…

I think I just got unlucky. This chick was textbook NPD and that never shows itself at the start. I'd been plating her for around two months before the real her started to show. I hard nexted and it made something in her mind snap. She become full psycho stalker with all the extras. I'm digressing, but the point is sometimes there is no way of knowing what you've gotten into until it's too late and that's just bad luck.

Something similar happened to me recently. I had a good mate take his own life out of nowhere and it completely wrecked me. By the time I started to come back to normal, she was long gone.

You can do it man. I'm 30 and I only discovered this 9 months ago. Do I wish I discovered it when I was 20? Fuck yeah I do. But dwelling on the past was one of the first things I trained myself to stop doing. It's not a quick and easy fix. It's a long and difficult process. But now I am ten times the man that I was 9 months ago and I'm still continually improving. If I can do it, so can you. Go and grab the universe by it's balls and tell it that you're in control now. I believe in you.
