It really doesn't. Guys, the bill was brought up by a lawmaker trying to point out how insane the new Texas anti-abortion bill (sue people who have abortions) is. I don't understand what stance you're defending, but you seem to be minimizing statutory rape. Got any links on 70% of male slaves being men? I didn't work too hard on the search but it's pretty revealing that it isn't an estimate thing to find. When gender and slavery are the terms it is wholly about women. When men and slavery are the terms there isn't any immediate reference to this having been largely an issue men experienced.
