Further to what has been written below, the Governor General (addressed formally as "His/Her Excellency"), is the Queen's representative in any former British colony. Australia, NZ, Canada, Barbados, etc., all have Governors General.

Got a good sense of their "professionalism" during this pandemic. And by that I mean the "dancing nurse" videos. Saw one video where a nurse was grinding on an IV pole like she was a stripper. Absolute trash. This kind of display erodes the sense of public trust. Florence Nightingale they were not.

there is TONS of money to keep the whore, i mean wife, from taking up her hypergamous instincts because she realizes this is her best deal. Oh, THEY perform a cost-benefit analysis, too. They know very well what side the bread is buttered on, and who butters it. They'll put up with a TON of shit unless it is financially worth their while to divorce. They work those numbers like their lives depend upon it. (Because it does.)

Ehhh, some are. Gotta give it to them. I know a few happy couples. But within that "happiness" -within the entirety of that marriage- you KNOW there are some absolutely shyte times. It all comes down to the cost-benefit analysis, and how you evaluate it. For me, it just isn't worth it.

The only thing worse than being lonely is being in a bad marriage, according to a study on happiness. Best: Married and happy; Second best: Single and happy; Third best: Single and unhappy; Worst: Married and unhappy. This, as well as a simple cost-benefit analysis lead you to one inescapable conclusion: DON'T. GET. MARRIED.

I'm 58. Decided at an age younger than yours to never have kids, and stuck with that decision. ZERO REGRETS. Kids were never in my plans. Yes, it has cost me a few relationships, but I always knew that would be the price of my decision. I come and go as I please, my money is mine, and I keep myself in good order. No regrets about not having kids. Not a single one.

Sometimes it's not a matter of being happy alone.... It's about being better off alone. Yeah, we all have a notion of an idealized female partner; one who "gets" us, who gives us our space, who understands our needs, who can leave us to our hobbies & interests, etc. Found one yet? They're as rare as unicorns. So... if you constantly find misery in the company of the average woman, you have to recognize when you're better off.

If her behaviour was such that it caused you to change the course of your entire life; that it caused you to end your relationship, and -for at least the present, anyway- go MGTOW, then she needs to know this. You might even be doing her a favour if she's not too selfish to take the message.

My family took "pity" on me as a young guy in my twenties. They were all married, and I wasn't. Then the younger ones behind me got married as they got older. I still wasn't. Now they look at me as the smart one. DON'T DO IT. You don't need to. Not in today's world. There are NO advantages to a man in getting married. ALL of the advantage goes to her. The woman you divorce is NOT the woman you marry.

The two big ones for me: "...their space... their money..." My family: 14 relatives married, 9 of them divorced, for a total of 13 divorces. (Two women each divorced 3 times.) My female relatives made out like bandits in their settlements. The men got cleaned out in theirs. The last straw for my brother was the constant lack of privacy. Came home from a shit day at work and just wanted a shower and a beer, but found the mother-in-law puttering around in his master bedroom. Couldn't even come bac…

Ohhhh.... Oh, boy... Well, this one is touchy. This is a horse of a different colour. This is your ma. This is no ordinary woman. When a mom cooks for her son, it's personal. They do that from the heart. To tell her the food she puts out for her boy is bad... Yikes. I've never seen her get so upset & angry over such petty little thing. Noooo, no no... this isn't a petty little thing. They see cooking for their sons as another way of giving you "life". This is major stuff, for them. Be gentle wit…

Good for you, brother. Glad you're happy. Glad you finally got tired of it. But that's the nature of men. We "Yes dear, yes dear, yes dear" simply to avoid conflict, and drama. THEY see that as dominance over us, and a source of power. Men try to solve problems, and get their relationships in order. Women lack physical strength, so they use emotional manipulation. In the end, the dam bursts. It sounds as though you're doing quite well for yourself. Frankly, I'm still bitter at having wasted my f…

I'm 58. Met a great woman at 54. She was 53, attractive, healthy, and in shape. We did a lot of sports, and activities together. At her home, I'd offer to help with dinner, or repairs, and she'd always refuse. So, respecting her rules, I'd sit down, and let her handle things. Except at MY place she wouldn't extend the same courtesy. She began trying to get bossy and controlling in my own home. She flipped out because I spent 50 cents more on a stick of butter than she would have preferred. I nev…

You have no point here. The only human aspect of "loyalty" is the label we give it. The pure animal aspect of loyalty is the behaviour that we see: Standing by you, defending you against predators, protecting you when you're sick, playing and working together, none of which you can do with a cat. A dog will stand by you in time of danger. A dog will warm you when you're lost and cold. House cat...? Nah, not so much. As I said, the human-dog relationship goes back millennia. We've been living and…

Nasty, and disloyal. Can't work with them, and they only serve to consume resources. Dogs on the other hand... They'll ride shotgun with you, stick by you through thick and thin, and are the most dedicated, loyal creatures on the planet. There are cave paintings with humans and dogs working together on the hunt. Our relationship goes back millennia.

Truer words were never spoken. AND SHE'S STILL DOING IT! She bailed on her husband for "new" guy because he promised her more. When he fell through, she then wanted to return to her "sure thing". This woman has NO self-respect. To be willing to come back in humiliation, and beg to be let back into the shelter..? She's a worm. If you want to live your life with a person like that, then fine. Just make sure you dominate the hell out of that relationship and enjoy every minute of it, because she is…

Sadly in Canada we've basically never had an all boys space. In your lifetime, you mean. Clearly, you're very young. You shouldn't judge social history by your own experience, son. A lot went on before you arrived. When I was in the Canadian Boy Scouts, it was truly the Boy Scouts. The idea of having girls in there was absurd. So yes, we most definitely had an all-boy's space. The Boys Brigade is what began it all. It was the UK's original scouting movement.
