1	Boyfriend doesn’t understand why I want marriage? There is a lot of risk, particularly for women, to buying a home and having children without marriage. Wouldn't the risk be 100% the man's if that's the case? She would get the kids 100% and probably the house 100% too, with marriage she might have to split them 50/50. Think in terms of groups instead of individuals, since they're weak and vulnerable. They do things because they're supposed to, even when there's little to no chance of personal gain, because the pride they feel at being an honorable man drives them. They are the ideal beta males. They want to be caretakers for wives and families because they are supposed to and because fulfilling this honorable role, often at personal expense to themselves, gives them pride.
