I've only heard bromance used positively or neutrally. Is that really some kind of a slur?

The social contract. Another issue is, regardless of gender, many feel like their country/government hasn't held up their end of the deal. No one asks to be born, and no one gets to choose what imaginary line they're spat out behind. Black men in particular spend their entire lives being fleeced, demonized, misunderstood, and largely broke. But they have an obligation to defend that so it continues to be perpetuated? Sure, many of them spend most of their lives being forced into violent situatio…

Most people aren't even OK with men's groups going around telling men how to fix their issues, lol. It flies directly in the face of her suggestion. A movement by men, for men. Like there aren't examples of male advocacy being shouted down. Like even a place like LWMA isn't sometimes equated to MGTOW/RedPill. Like even version one of MGTOW - when it was self-focus spurred by apathy and disenfranchisement more than spite spurred by bitterness or hatred - wasn't lambasted and laughed at as loser m…

Probably not, but it's still a really shitty experience that wasn't necessary. On the other hand, I've noticed that this kind of looking for trouble behavior almost exclusively comes from teen and early 20-somethings.

All I remember is every woman and her dog wanted a "strong silent type" when looking for a man. You know what the rub is, here? I'm not very good at being silent or strong. So, you'd think men who don't traditionally fit into the masculinity box would be shoo-in first recruits for feminism trying to expand to outsiders. But we get told we don't really have a seat at the table, and it's clear we're just the diversity hire. We parrot the slogans and stay out the way, while what's really desired fr…

This is exactly my thought. I avoid places like TxC as a matter of principle, and I think most men should do the same. Everyone needs a place to vent about their specific issues without being brigaded, and if you go to these places as part of an outgroup, you'll naturally find the trouble you're looking for. Those women are going to be back on Tinder in 20 minutes, they just need a place to air frustrations and find camaraderie. What I don't like is seeing it hit the front page where I can't avo…

This is interesting. Do you have any specific names of people or companies? I don't want to repeat this and it's just hearsay.

Women are almost comically helpless when you take away their shame power, lol. It's the first, and usually only, arrow in their quiver. When a woman can't beat you back in line by picking at a typical male insecurity, well. I guess that's that.

My God. That u/problem_redditor comment you linked was a verifiable rabbit hole back-and-forth discussion, and he puts on an absolute masterclass in effective use of language, citing comprehensive sources, and keeping cool.

Fair enough. If we didn't need some sort of comfort and mental stimulation, this thread wouldn't need to exist. Let me rephrase: what I mean by that pure physical stimulation tends to do more for most men vs. most women on average, and the amount of priming we need beforehand just to get to the point of being able to perform is typically less. It's not to say we don't need or want it, or that we don't deserve some effort.

I will say this in defense of women: we don't outright need as much as they do. The sight of a naked woman is enough for most men to be completely ready to go. We don't require preheating the oven, it's just something we do for them because they require it. And women often can't orgasm just through penetrative sex alone, they require stimulation in addition to that. None of this is their fault, and they're not remiss for expecting their partners to care about their good time. My issue is, it's a…
