single-mother households are composed of families that lack a father figure entirely. courts are admittedly fucked up in terms of custody battles, but fathers getting 0 custody is rare. i am not referencing “single-mother” households with a partial-custody father. i am referencing what single-mother households actually are. fatherless.

you blame the single-mother for how she parents, but not the father for leaving. have you considered that this statistic may be due to trauma stemming from the father? like… i don’t know… abandonment? sorry for the tone, but this blew my mind a little.

I understand. However you must admit "mutually abusive" is misleading in this case, using Chris Brown and Rihanna is an insensitive and ineffective example to use in trying to advocate for mens rights. If anything, it strengthens the argument of the opposite side: different levels of strength= disproportionately different levels of damage. But I know this is a community, so I assume the intention was preaching to the choir. Thx for clearing up <3
