That makes more sense. Well if you think I'm the only guy who thinks this way you are welcome to believe so. Me personally I believe a lot of men have this strain of thought, they want to be different they are just afraid no will like them if they are different.

That one person just happened to be a foremost feminist who also had a lot of empathy for men and yet even she had trouble in not seeing men through patriarchal lenses. I doubt most women could be better than her at this stuff. Women want men to stop seeing them through patriarchal lenses, yet we can't ask for the same treatment.

I read it through. So I understand why and how patriarchy hurts men, I just don't believe the post patriarchy world will be much better because I don't believe most women are willing to see men from outside of the patriarchal lenses so even in the post patriarchal world women will still hold men to patriarchal standards.

It's just "a" study. There are other studies that shows stuff like women like 8 inch height differences which is higher than the average height difference of 5 inches, which means most women want above average height men. There are studies that show when are more aroused they find masculine features more attractive (sharp jawline, sharp eyes, muscles etc). There are many studies' results that converge to the point that women have higher standards. It's even seen in our mammalian cousins, that wo…

And people make like-minded friends and partners do they not? So that rules out your stuff too. The only like-mindedness of that sub that I can see is that they want visual content of attractive men, who happen to most of the time be muscular, tall and handsome.

You should read her Will to Change book. It's in there: When I was in my twenties, I would go to couples therapy, and my partner of more than ten years would explain how I asked him to talk about his feelings and when he did, I would freak out. He was right. It was hard for me to face that I did not want to hear about his feelings when they were painful or negative, that I did not want my image of the strong man truly challenged by learning of his weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Here I was, an e…

And a sub full of women posting pictures of men they find attractive. Which is still more than your anecdotal evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:12 PM

Don't know ask the women who say protection is the reason they tall and muscular men. There are literal studies that show women typically like above average men. In height, face, body, income. There's also the okcupid one which shows women rated 80% men below average. And also my experience in the opposite of yours. If you bring changes in the world that makes women have higher status and income, but no such changes for men(which is required if you want equality as feminists say) then obviously …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 06:09 PM

I am assuming you have no rebuttal then
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:45 PM

When women don't need men for money and protection, they'll want men that are attractive like men want attractive women. Problem is women's standards for attractiveness are far higher than men's. So most men will remain single. Another problem is a lot of liberal women will still want traditional men, the ones that are higher status and have higher income. But when wome become more self-sufficient the number of men that can do that will decrease
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:45 PM
1

It is very remotely true. I already gave you two examples. The dataset of those two are much higher than your anecdotal evidence
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:33 PM

Then you likely know the story that bell hooks told of one of her partners. Where when he was emotionally vulnerable she felt disgusted a little. And how when he became more traditionally masculine more women gave him attention. That will not change in the post-patriarchy world of feminism, because most feminists don't care about changing that which is again understandable, but then why should those men help feminism?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:29 PM

Anecdotal evidences, I have many of those that support my claim too.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:26 PM

Alright why don't you explain whatever your feminism is? For a lot of men rising to higher standards is pretty hard, cause most of what women want out of men is genetic and very hard to change. Face, height, hair etc. It isn't as easy as putting on some makeup and some clothes like it is with women. Traditionally masculine stuff = being the provider and protector. Traditionally masculine looking = buff, tall and handsome guy. Well if he's my definition of a traditionally masculine man then I und…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:25 PM

Alright let's hear your definition
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:16 PM

I am just gonna say look at romance novels, written by women and for women. Look at the male love interest in those. Basically Henry Cavill looking guys(with sometimes different hair, skin or eye color) who are billionaires, trillionaires or whatever. Look at the ladyboner sub. Top posts are always tall, muscular men. Since they are actors sk they are already high status and have money. Now give me an example women liking men the opposite of those description.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:13 PM

Men killing themselves could be for a number of reasons, but it likely wouldn't get any better under whatever post-patriarchy world feminists want cause feminists don't really care much for men's issues. They acknowledge and move on, not their problem. Understandable but then why should men help you? A lot of men don't want women to be self-sufficient cause then their standards will become even higher. Most men don't meet women's standards as it is, after that it'll be worse. Just look at the re…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 05:08 PM

Keep their benefits and gain a few of the men's benefits, but men get nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 04:44 PM

Exactly I don't like patriarchy either and that feminism's goal of making women's lives easier is a good thing. But I absolutely understand why men don't want to support it either cause it will only hurt them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 04:43 PM

If patriarchy goes away, the stuff men face in dating right will likely only become worse. Women will need men for lesser things, and so will want to be with for men less and when they do why not be with just the best guys? Is having women be less dependent on men a good thing? Yep, but is it understandable why men don't want it? Yep
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 04:40 PM

Any particular reasons why?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 04:32 PM

I read the summary of this book by this biologist Meike Stoverock. She claimed once all form of coercion are lifted we will likely go the way many of our mammal cousins go. Majority of women with a minority of men. Also many more egalitarian forms of societies have tended to have men raise their sister sons and pretty much not even know who their actual son is. So this kind of system may also arise
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 03:33 PM

How about you answer why you think attraction is subjective? You claimed ut first. Your articles itself claimed certain things are just based in our biology like men liking younger women, women liking muscle. You list "young, fit, slim, slightly curvy" as the mark of attractiveness for women. If they don't fit in this box are you saying they are unattractive? How does that explain how some men are not attracted to these women, or how some men can find say a 40yr old woman with a little extra wei…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 03:23 PM

Oh yah as a guy that was almost always the shortest in the class, I have been bullied pretty fucking hard. From men it's been physical and verbal bullying a lot of the times and ignoring for most other times, very few guys treated me normal. From women, it's mostly been about being completely ignored and sometimes verbal bullying (like insults, acting disgusted by me like a few times girl have verbally refused to even sit next to me, being condescending etc), no girl has ever treated as normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 03:07 PM

Our opinion matters shit, the girl's opinion on it matter. And you can never really know what a woman considers her looksmatch lol. Still he is pretty tall, average build, 6-7/10 face, not bad hair, so maybe he has a chance
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/23 02:52 PM

Attractiveness is not subjective lol, where did you get that idea? Certain traits are almost always more attractive than others. For women, it's being young, fit, slim but slightly curvy. For men, it's muscles, height, fitness, status, money. It's just men find a wider range of women attractive than women.

It’s self deprecating and to be blunt annoying to listen to on a consistent basis But it's still true. If it's annoying don't engage, go to someother sub For example. What do you mean "for example"? If they can dish it they can take it. What’s... Don't coddle them, just leave them be, don't make things worse for them. It's usually women who do it too, most of whom have no clue what's it like being unattractive to most of the opposite sex. It's like if a man came in and insulted women who were ve…

What's wrong with being blackpilled? I thought we agreed that women only like a small subset of men, so why is it wrong for the rest of the men to be venting a little? Why do you feel it is necessary to insult them? Why not just leave them be? Just go do whatever else you enjoy

Not really wondering about the politics of a particular someone. More like talking about hypocrisy of liberal women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 02:52 PM
1

Well then its a new type of insult to me, it doesnt seem like an insult, more like an advice, never really seen an insult like that. But alright then, that's good to know I'll treat every mention of personality being the issue as more of an insult than a suggestion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 02:51 PM

Then maybe just say that or shut up and f off, instead of lying?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 01:17 PM
1

It's hypocritical for sure. But it's not that big of a surprise that women want traditionally masculine men, in looks and/or behavior. It's the type of relationship that has gone on for centuries, that's a pretty clear indication that it's biologically hardwired, no matter what liberal and/or leftist people say.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 01:16 PM
1

Well we can have opinions about them, but we still gotta live with them lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 12:56 PM
1

Some would be, some wouldn't be. But either way they would like their partner to be, many redpillers hold the view that most women don't really like men who can't provide for them and in a 50/50 a woman is most likely not all that happy with their partner and so will probably leave them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 12:54 PM
3

I am not a woman but similar views or atleast having my partner be able to see from my point of view on various topics and issues is one of the two requirements I have in dating, easiest way to make sure of that is to date <insert your specific political tag here> people, women have a lot of matches so they are probably able to be much more strict about requiring <insert your specific political tag here> people than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 10:00 AM

Well I dont really how the rest of world compares to here, but it definitely is shit. I am guessing wherever you live liberal women aren't hypocrites then?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 09:35 AM

Alright. But tbh most people understand what I was talking about, probably ause the rest of message clarified which women I was talking about. Still I'll keep it in mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 09:33 AM
1

Lol that's one way to see it. I meant more nontraditional women want traditional men. But a contradiction does arise in your way saying when you think about what weak, dependent women want. Cause they don't weak, dependent men. So now they are the hypocrites. But either way nontraditional men get the shit end lol.

I suppose we have different experiences then
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 09:22 AM

Progressive, leaning left, feminist, nontraditional these would synonym I would use for those women as well. Maybe that'll help you understand if which women I am talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 09:21 AM

My experiences have been the same with most "liberal" women. Oh yeah I don't watch much news either, I don't particularly care about things not happening right in front of me cause I have little to no power to stop it most of the time, it only makes one depressed. I browse the internet and talk to people in my life, if something is big enough it'll reach my ears soon enough anyways, and very few things are big enough in my eyes.

What do yall think of liberal women? Personally I think most are just entitled af, just like that women from recent TikTok post, they want to have their cake and eat it too. Just like most women, they seem to only like traditionally masculine men(both on looks and actions) but also want to not be judged for being non traditional. That is pretty hypocritical I am not gonna lie.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 07:22 AM
2

This is why I dont care for liberal women. I could just hear the entitlement in her voice lol, most liberal women seem to be that way. They want men to accept them for not being traditional but dont want to accept men for not being traditional. Hypocrits.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 07:15 AM
1

I’ve seen those posts dudes come in with woe is me, incel and/or manosphere speak all of which are viewed as unattractive by the mainstream Problem is a man venting about anything a woman does is now seen as incel-like. And still if it an actual incel it would still be better to tell them the truth, that "yeah you were probably rejected because you're not that great looking. But you're personality doesn't seem all that great either"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 01:21 AM
1

That I get. When women lie as part of the rejection, though maybe this is another reason why some men have a gard time trusting a woman's word. What I don't like if when the rejected guy goes online to vent, and most people tell him "it's your personality, bro. Women don't care about looks that much" when that's not true. Thats gaslighting.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 01:14 AM
1

Yep that's true. But you are talking about incompatibility. Many times it's just comments saying that the guy's personality is bad, which is usually in my eyes means the guy is insecure, passive, uninteresting, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 04:31 PM
2

It CAN be. But many times I have seen it used when men are just rejected before they get to show their personality
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 03:45 PM
2

I have had a similar number of women arguing about men's problem mostly being their personality and women saying it's looks. Weirdly enough most of the women who agree that looks are what matter I found on this comment I started so it might just be selection bias
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 03:40 PM
2

Because it's gaslighting, and it's pretty bad to do? Not to mention when the person you are gaslighting finds out, they aren't gonna particularly happy
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 03:36 PM

Look at just about any post, in which a man talks about how his unattractive features make dating harder, that is outside this sub. In most other sub men are constantly told that it is actually their personality that makes it harder to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 12:40 PM
1

Literally every time it comes up, all of us women around here say that we need to be attracted to someone to date them. Why are you so insistent on believing otherwise? Just in the last few days I have had women o this sub arguing how personality matter more to women and how their standards are not higher than men. Outside of this sub, whenever a man complains about dating most women are like "Oh it's not your height/body/face/etc. It's your personality, even if the women that rejected you didn'…

I have liked skinny/fat, short men before you know it just happens that my boyfriend right now is not that. So there's nothing wrong about men being non-muscular and short, it's probably just your insecurity and personality" I see comments like these from women way more than women outright owning what they like. Like I said women can have whatever standards they want. Just don't come in saying "It's your personality, women can see your red flags before you even open your mouth". If you like only a small subset of men then own it.

Makes sense. Since ancient women have needed men for 2 things, good genes for their offspring, support for them and their offspring. If women can support themselves or be supported by a community then they just need good genes, what best way to get than from men that usually succeed in casual sex, and therefore are more likely to engage in casual sex
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 09:09 AM
5

In my opinion, not really. Men and women are too different biologically and so obviously have very different mate selection strategies, it's just how it is for males and females of many species. Females of most species are super selective, so only few men stand chance. If we try to make women happy and give them all the freedom to chose their partners, they will only gravitate towards to top tier dudes, which will make most men sad. If we try to make men happy and force womem to be with men they…

It's weird how many women genuinely think that just because most older men are in relationships that they are found attractive by their partners. Might be because their experience with relationship is just so different from men. If a guy is in relationship with her, it most of the times means he finds her attractive. However when a girl dates a guy, it could be for a number of reasons. Only way for a guy to be sure that the woman finds him attractive is if she engages in casual sex with him. And…

https://bburky.com/subredditgenderratios/ Use this and search ladyboners. Looks to me like 80% are women. Reddit is generally used by people in their 20s, so I doubt most women are older women. you will see a few skinny or short guys. Skinny maybe, short nah. Tiktok is pretty bad for short guys, disliking short guys is big thing on there, seen very big compilation of tiktok people saying how much they dont like short men.

It's because it's mostly women who push that narrative of personality being more important than looks whenever a man talks about his dating problems. Some men just buy the bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 02:40 AM
9

What you can't have is women only finding a subset of men attractive, but then constantly saying "it's not your looks man, it's your personality', if they were more honest and told men that most men are not attractive enough for women instead gaslighting men into thinking personality is what matters most and that most men have bad personalities, then maybe there wouldn't be this harsh of feedback to women caring about physical attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/23 02:35 AM
6

It's mostly women that seem to be pushing this narrative, most men know physical attractiveness is important for both men and women, and that women have higher standard for men to be deemed attractive But whenever people start to talk about women's standards a lot of woman just come in saying "we just want a nice, emotionally intelligent man that can take care of himself", " It's just your personality", "Height/Muscles/etc doesnt matter all that much" etc. Women constantly oversell the importanc…

I hardly use anecdotal data. Most of the reason why I believe the standards for a man to be attractive is higher is based in data, mostly how women like taller than average men and men with masculine cues like sharp jawline as well as sharp eyes, muscles. I don't judge the data of researcher institutions without proper reasoning to be skeptical. The last time they posted the dating data there was still a very large gap between the male and female singleness rates. Seeing the gap widen isn't unna…

So you're basing this on what some women you saw on Reddit said? Please don't do this for literally anything in life. Not some. A lot. Mostly from subs like TwoX. So you're saying you resent that women have options. While realizing sociopaths are capable of hiding they are in fact sociopaths while also realizing not every woman is dating a sociopath? I don't watch many shows so I got zero clue, I can search it up and give it you though. Lol but I have seen women tell incels that they can tell they are incels just from a glance even if they keep their mouth shut. Or how easily they get "ick" from creepy men. Seems to me women are at the same time super amazing at weeding out creepy guys and also super bad lol. Maybe all the abusive men just have something that makes the women not care about the "ick"? This is not even mentioning how women seem to go back their abusive exes 7 times before breaking up properly.

Being in a relationship isnt the same as being found attractive. I am talking about being found attractive, which most women are but not most men. Therefore, stricter body standards are placed upon men. And even when we are talking about just relationships. ~65% men in their 20s are single while only ~35% women are single. In their 20s people usually care the most about physical attractiveness, that's why most men are single.

Look at NSFW subs for men, the top subs all feature the same kind of women. White skinny women with large breaststroke, only a handful are different Which sub tho? There are many nsfw subs for men, which one seems to only have those types of women?

So conventionally unattractive men just have to go for women who don't draw any sexual gratification from men's bodies. Sounds like a recipe for a dead bedroom to me.

Can't change height or face though, but if OP is only worried about muscles then yeah that's pretty fixable

All the guys I know don't engage in casual sex. But this is just anecdotal evidence so I won't say you are wrong either, just my experience is different.

https://bburky.com/subredditgenderratios/ Use this and look at the ladyboners sub, looks to me like close to 80% are women
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:55 PM

Not really, many female main characters are designed to be self-inserts, so they are described as being more plain and average. Many of them are described as chubby and/or tall(in this case of course the male love interest is still much taller) as well, which are usually conventionally unattractive traits irl.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:53 PM

Go to Walmart and see who all the women are with lol. Those are women in relationships with those guys, that doesn't mean they find them attractive. I want know which men women see in the same way men see most women, if you have a link to a community like that with larger amount of women that ladyboners, then I'll take whatever they say as more true
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:46 PM

Women have those preferences too. They are more stricter too from some dating apps reports. I have just never heard this preference from a guy, all of the guys I know seem to be ok with whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:34 PM

In my opinion, skinny skaterboy or the fat funny guy being liked by women is a man's fantasy, not a woman's. If you look at media made by women, for women like romance novels you will notice all the male love interests are muscular, tall and handsome men. You can probably count the number of popular conventionally unattractive men on your hands. Also look at subs like ladyboners, most of top posts are muscular and tall. Only a handful are conventionally unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:31 PM

Men prefer a larger number of women, because they want more women. Women only need 1 man to be satisfied, men need many women to be satisfied. So it makes sense they would be more indiscriminent about who they fuck. Therefore, women have higher standards That sub is hardly representitive of the majority of women, or females in general That's the biggest representation I have, do you have a bigger one? Otherwise I'll accept whatever this shows about women's standards

Lol women actually have preference for hair and eye color? Wow that's a weird thing to have a preference for, I have never seen a guy talk about hair or eye color preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:16 PM

That's how it is for men. Most women have enough options that they can turn preferences into requirements and still have plenty of options. Besides even if it's just a "preference" it's still pretty weird that women only seem to prefer a small subset of men. While men usually like a larger amount of women. Women rarely look at pictures for sexual gratification Look at a sub like r\ladyboners most of the top post are full of muscular, tall men with great jawline, hair etc. But if look at subs for…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 05:13 PM

That's for deciding the most attractive type. I am sure many of them will be alright any of those "types". Besides incel forums have some weird ass people on them. And honestly to me this shows that men(even -cel people) have a wide variety of what they find most attractive in women. Don't see much like that from women honestly.

Top tier dudes and most women are just in their own different world. The rest are in the luck league, they gotta get lucky to find a person that likes them for their defects, or atleast doesn't care about them and like them for something else.

I could say the same thing you know. Just because you see it in your corner of life doesn't mean it's common. Anyways agree to disagree.

And a lot of luck cause women like those are rare
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/23 12:25 PM

Women seek sex as well, they still don't work their asses off to get it. I dont disagree I am assuming then that you feel ok with doing things this way? Then I suppose we just have different ways of thinking. Nothing wrong with that, and not much we can do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 02:38 PM

I dont care for that line of thinking, I don't think that way nor do I wish to. All I see is if I operated how you described then, past a certain point I would be lying by atleast omission, if not commission. And that is not a thing I like to do with people I know. Especially if it's only for my own gain. Btw men(atleast some I suppose) seek commitment as well I am one of them, just as, I presume, women(atleast some) seek sex as well. If you really think it all works this way, do you really feel…

Nah man, because women can feel that way 20 times and still talk the same way. And nobody asks them to look inward. If we don't, then we should. A lot of men's problem is feeling like they owe women for everything, and sometimes multiple times for the same thing, and that's bullcrap. Like I said I can get behind what you said upto an extent, but beyond that what you are suggesting goes against I suppose my way of life, and for me that is way more important than any woman or women in the world. What you are saying is fine I suppose with the caveat that if this thing of "not feeling particularly feeling excited to be in a relationship with a woman after having sex with her" has happened more than like 3 times or something, then maybe it's best to start looking inward a bit and if not that, then atleast don't say anything of commitment cause you have a history of not feeling upto commitment. Regardless of that, what you are saying and what the person I was originally replying to was sayi…

Not me. But I would atleast like to be found attractive(by my partner of course) in the way a woman finds a man she has casual sex with attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/23 08:36 AM

There's a difference between average guys being in relationship vs average being attractive to women. I was talking about the latter, you are taking about the former. And even for relationship there is data that shows that in their 20s ~35% women are single and ~65% men are single. 20s are probably the age when physical attractiveness matters a lot for dating, so it's understandable why the average nan is single. Because most women are not attracted to the average man
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 09:20 PM

Consistency is for sure a thing, I have shown you link that talk about what most women found attractive. Especially the height ones, cause they all found similar results. Synonymity? Maybe it's not but so far you have only been nitpicking my sources. Do you have anything backup what you claim?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 07:51 PM

From men's side it's probably monogamous, from women's side it's probably communal.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 07:37 PM

I mentioned this in another thread with another person, but the conversation has now changed from which men women find attractive to which men women commit to. Those are not always the same, in my personal it is very rarely that they are the same.

You best know what you like, there's no arguing that. it’s not a bunch of women snatching up valuable men, there aren’t enough to go around. Snatching up? Probably not, guys that have that many option probably arent open to being snatched up. But getting into short- medium term relationships? Probably yeah

I am not asking them to like me as I am, that's a horrible idea. I am self-aware enough to know I am a sexist dude, probably even misogynistic and obviously most women don't and shouldnt like that stuff in guys. To put it in more normal terms, I am a short and ugly dude, have had bad experience because of that, I want proo…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:36 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:19 PM

Well I would like to get into a relationship with a woman that genuinely liked me, but so far from what I see and have seen most women don't like me. But if that entails that I shut my mouth and believe something I see no evidence of, I'd rather not cause I can't just believe something like that, I need proof.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:14 PM

Lol alright cut the probably then. Women in the past, atleast in most cultures, didn't have much of choice in who their partner was.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:11 PM

That I agree with. But see how you moved from attraction to commitment. You were talking about women being attracted to regular ass dudes, but when I mentioned that there is data that shows most women usually only like abive average guys, you started talking about how women get into relationships with regular ass dudes. That's not what was said before. I agree as they get older most regular ass guys get into a relationship (well atleast they have in the past, we'll see what the future with all n…

So much debunking mentions, yet no links? Curious If women only chose a specific type of men, then why is it that a huge variety of men still exist today, shouldn't they have gone extinct long go? Maybe cause women in the past didn't have much choice or freedom. Now women have the freedom to choose from many, many men. So now they choose the top tier dudes. Edit: the link you posted for this talks about hypergamy in the theoretical that is choosing partner with higher education and assets, which…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 06:02 PM

Alright so the guy telling you how you actually feel about your partner is obviously wrong and being a dick. But there's also data that shows most women usually only like guys that are above average in relevant attractiveness related categories(like height, face structure, fitness etc). So assuming an average woman is like that isn't totally wrong either
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 05:31 PM

In past those women probably didn't have much of a choice. If it was on them they probably wouldn't be with the guy, let alone have children

Hey look at that, that's me. I am a virgin, have never had a positive interaction with woman at most it has been neutral mostly it's been negative. My opinions are mostly based on the large number of internet threads I have read in women as well as men dominated spaces, studies I have found in them and a lit bit of my own brain. And I don't see much wrong with that tbh, these seem more objective than just listening to the at most 50 women you know

Yeah I have read some of those reasons for the existence of monogamy as well. Yeah I suppose some males are just meant to be evolutionary fodder no matter what mind of structure we make up. Not much we can do with that. Patriarchy still seems preferable to me, but what does it matter what I think most people seem to not like patriarchy. So the alternative I don't like is much more likely to be socially selected

You literally wanted people here to understand why from your point dating is easier. That sounds like asking for empathy to me. Women don't empathise very well with how dating is for guys, but still there's alot of guys that understand women's plights(btw I know I am not one of them). Just go on any other dating related but this one. So yeah despite receiving little empathy from women a lot of guys do give it back, I hardly see womem do that.

To each their own I supppse, I would still take a firing squad of pussies over just complete and utter silence which just tells me that no one wants me. Maybe spend some time being completely invisible to the opposite sex then you'll have a change of view? Still even if you don't that's fine I suppose.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 06:48 PM

Still 60% is better than like 20% lol. And patriarchy atleast wishes that every male have a partner, the alternative doesn't wish that and some even think that it would probably be bad if every male had a partner.

For your first point, studies women are much less likely to be ok with dating short men, than men are with taller women. Makes sense it's usually taller women who are models so it's a more acceptable for a woman to be tall, as tall women have some representation in being shown as desirable. When has a short man ever been shown in a desirable manner

Why don't you go to r\romancebooks and see how much the women there love very tall, fit and masculine male love interest in their books(just very recently there was thread about it). There's many threads about it, despite hypocritically also wanting representation for other female body types lol. Then you are thinking too far back in terms of patriarchy. I am not talking dawn of agricultural age, I am talking a century or so back. And even if what you say would be true then as well. It's still better than the alternative. Everything you mentioned is pretty easily preventable by women putting efforts into vetting and their safety. Learning how abusive and/or shitty men do their things, they have many books about this. All this can be done from the safety of women's homes. Not to mention almost all of the society sympathises with the stuff you experience and make effort to stop it. Men's problems with dating women are largely ignored, and if a man gets up to talk about it he's called an incel and other stuff, and t…
