Yes I know this, I’m also saying their definition is outdated and harmful. The same act committed by a man with his penis or a woman with some other type of object results in a different sentence. Sexual assault doesn’t carry a higher penalty, it has the option to give out a larger punishment. I would also say a different punishment would benefit men in the sense of sexual assault carrying a higher penalty. Just cause it is the way it is doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

I mean by all means it’s annoying, I think the news articles can be sued too if they use rape (due to it not being the official crime)

Yeah but the separation of language in itself is harmful, it somewhat shows that the crime women commit is somehow not deserving of the stigma of the word rape. I get the argument that they’re still being punished, but the Uk law definition is harmful and needs to be changed.

Walmart cashiers don’t make much at all and you would be surprised at the cost of apartments in some cities. Some people have to pay for other things like kids, food, medicine...etc. Although I hope if you’re going to be homeless working as a Walmart cashier, maybe you should have a kid or maybe put school on hold.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
