It's a bit sad. I hope for his sake he learns sooner than later. I have been there before and it took a bad relationship to send me down the mgtow path. I hate how I was before, and this behavior disgusts me now, but I will welcome Ricardo when he finds us.

Absolutely love this. Such a shame Australia is Nanny state and made dogs on motorcycles illegal. (Exception for farms)

I can actually get him to stay in certain areas or not get on at all. He is pretty well trained. Sometimes I'm just soft and let him get away with stuff. He just likes to be close.

I'm 5'7, 143lb and can lift that 10 reps. I still shouldn't be a cop. It is more than physical strength but also the calming effect of having the big strong presence. I do what I can with what I have, but no point putting people's lives at risk for my ego.

I have chia seeds in my protein drink to help keep everything regular. There's a beauty in being able to do whatever we want, completly disagree and both be completely cool about it. Men don't require group consensus to get along.

If you're not getting married, then you are far less likely to be spending your money, or having it spent by your wife. Considering something like 85% of consumer spending is by women. On a large scale, this would have to be disruptive regardless of tax payments.

He seems to want a real discussion without name calling. I don't see this as a bad thing. He is viewing mgtow from societies vantage point, and from that angle we are not a good thing. Men leaving society doesn't help society. We (I) see the cost to guys and have by definition given up on society. Some MGTOW do this by minimising work and focusing effort on free time and leisure, other's on maximizing personal profit and never intending to spend on a family. Some MGTOW it is too late for action …

Australia it is a bit over 10% of married couples divorce every year. So after 7 years ~53% chance of being divorced. The 50% stat is meaningless. It is divorces to marriages per year.

I prefer articles like this. They didn't push an agenda or try and twist what was happening. They simply reported the findings. I found the age/happiness graph most interesting. Women's happiness appears to trend the same as their declining looks. Of course this may seem obvious to us mgtow, but it is very interesting to see the supporting data. I was surprised to see 39 as the age men's happiness takes over women's. I would have thought it would have been earlier. 33 ish.

I see what you are trying to do here, but as you can tell from the comments, a lot of guys see these as opportunity. Whether it be loading up with timber for a project or sleeping in the back and having a cheap surfing holiday. My point is to look at the positive in things. From the article: "The definition of infertility is now written in such a way that it includes the rights of all individuals to have a family, and that includes single men, single women, gay men, gay women." This is awesome. It may help push artificial creation of babies. This might mean we can have kids without the risks of women.

Top 'obviously' female name was Ashley. "Ashley in the United Kingdom, where it originated, is predominantly male, ranking at #40 in 1996 for boys and staying within the top 100–300 male names given each year. Ashleigh is the traditional spelling of the female form of the name, with Ashley remaining traditionally male." -Wikipedia

We don't have a draft where I'm from. I can see why that conflicts, but I don't see anyone here pushing for it. This post was an attack on everyone who has any traditional views. Trying to isolate mgtow forum from as many people as possible isn't helping men who might be looking for answers. This comment is really sad but good to see in a major publication: "I’m so sick and tired of men saying they need to talk about their feelings. Why? If he had, what difference would it have even made?" mgtow saves lifes.

MGTOW is understanding female nature and how society is stacked against men. And from there doing whatever the fuck you want. You can be MGTOW and have tradcon values. Who the fuck are you? Don't go telling people what they should and shouldn't believe. Beyond our mutual red pilled understanding we will all have different views on what an ideal world would look like.

This post is pretty offensive. The man lived and breathed something he loved. And it ended up taking his life. He should be celebrated, not mocked. Hopefully they make boxing safer, but like a lot of things in life, you need that element of risk to feel alive.

For me a purpose for living is important. When my unicorns horn fell off, I lost all direction. I wanted to be a father and provider of my family. I took great pride in that thought. Losing that and the realisation that it can't safely happen in today's world sent me spinning. I still struggle to get out of bed in the morning and try and take joy from the things I do love. Obviously this is over the top, but I get the sentiment. In Australia cops spend what appears to be an extraordinary amount of time fining innocent people going about their day. Jay walking, low level speeding, using a phone at traffic lights, etc. This certainly means that most regular people's dealings with the police is negative and severely impacts perception. The only good cops I know are friends. Otherwise I don't trust them for a second. Doesn't feel like they are working for the communit…

This really resonated with me. The loss of my identity and realisation that who I wanted to be (provider and family man) couldn't survive in this world was devastating. My goal is now for a surrogate son. Family without the risk of it being taken away. Thank you for your post.

Hi mate. My two cents. You seem a little too focused on the end result and not on the journey. Learning guitar sounds great, but it doesn't matter how many mistakes you make whilst you learn. Maybe try and borrow a guitar or look for a second hand one. As you use it and watch other play, you'll learn more about it and yourself. Good luck with everything.

I down voted, then re-thought and up voted. In an ideal world I believe most mgtows would want a life partner, but cannot allow themselves to risk it in this society. In addition, chasing casual sex is also risky and often not worth the effort. From that perspective I'm incel. I would love a partner to share life with, but once bitten twice shy. Men here are thinking men, and I'm confident most would have sex if they wanted and would deal with the risks as they saw fit.

I agree with the-captain. It might have been cathartic to write the email, but not send it. It doesn't do you any favours sending, and more than likely has a negative impact. Also, you don't know what was going on in the life of the person at the other end. She certainly didn't handle your interview well, but you can never be sure why. Without knowing her, you don't know if it was a pattern or a one off. Best to ignore and move on. If you are as skilled as you say you are, I'm sure it won't take…

I'm with you on this JFK. This stuff is petty and makes us look small. There are valid reasons why men go there own way, and girls posting silly photos at famous landmarks sure as shit ain't one of them.
/r/MGTOW12/03/17 12:47 PM

I'm in Australia. It isn't explicit, but you are correct. I anticipate something far more implicit. Like a batchelor tax for men earning more than x. Guys don't spend like girls do. Guys not marrying equates to money not flowing back into the economy. This will drive them to finding other ways to make us pay.
/r/MGTOW07/03/17 06:04 AM
19

They can see a problem, next they will try and legislate a 'fix'. Don't be surprised to see higher tax for single men. I would have rathered them stay oblivious. They won't ask why men aren't getting married, only how can we force them to. Stay strong. Tough times ahead.

I think we have more in common with the red pill guys than not. Lifting and exercise is encouraged on both forums for one's health, mentally and physically. I think the article is a good conversation point, but I don't agree with the methodology used. Running is different to lifting and three results are too. (Running distance can lower testosterone). Extreme exercise can definitely be negative, but it varies person to person what that limit is. Anyway. Stay strong and healthy guys. The world wo…

I'm only familiar with the ones from brothels. In Australia we have street hookers too, but they are beyond revolting.
/r/MGTOW06/02/17 09:00 PM

I live in Australia and used to hang out with a certain crowd for a while. Basically I know a fair few hookers, their husbands, friends and in some cases family. A couple are even right wing. Most of them are not fully functioning people, but they come to the job like that. I'd safe half would be unable to hold down a normal job. This way there is a place for them where they make okay money and provide a service to the community. The rules in place keep both the hooker and the John safe.

I mostly lean right, but prostitution is an agreement between two consenting adults. I can't see any reason for it to be illegal. Hoping this gets past and gives some mgtow brothers another avenue for release.

Too many inconsistencies to be real. I agree government debt is extremely high and you can't rely on them. To me is even more reason to invest for your own retirement. To not do so because the government might take your houses in the future is idiotic. Invest in your own future and avoid risky contracts with high risk and low yeild. (Marriage)
