That's just one of those things someone will claim as fact when it is really just what the poster desperately wants or needs to be true. "Women are staying single", "sluts don't get rings", "short men are fucked". It's all cope.

You can, but when people talk about a lack of love from family members or having no friends, "You don't have a right to family or friends" isn't as common a response for some reason.
