I have a huge issue with being vulnerable, which I know has stunted any growth in my social life. I’ve caught myself thinking I was the main character way too many times. Thanks.

Cant argue with that. Ive probably been hiding from, or refusing to face, that truth for a while. Wife doesn’t initiate much anymore either so I’ve got work to do.

OYS #2 Stats: Mid 30s, married 4 years, 3 kids, 195#, 6’. It’s been a year since I wrote an OYS. Have been lurking a lot and doing my own journaling, but I feel like getting it out there since I don’t get a lot of feedback in my personal life. Fitness: DL: 300 x3, bench 185 x10, squat: 225# x3. Everything has gone way down in my 30s. I’m having issues increasing the amount of pull ups I can do, and my running times aren’t getting much better. I started a nutrition and exercise journal this month…

AWALT. The idea of divorcing your wife in your head means you are developing the mindset that you are single, have options, and that you don’t need her. This can be done in two ways. One is to start developing this “mindset”, removing the oneitis, and maybe cheating. The other, more “ethical” method is to simply improve your SMV to a level above hers. This also created anxiety and attraction.

Nice job. I too noticed my PE go away after learning to just be in the moment. I think a lot of this is also getting rid of the oneitis I had. I don’t really care how well I perform… just wanna fuck my wife. Quitting porn and distance running also helped.

This is the answer. Every. Single. Time. OP just hasn't solved the mystery, and wife is hiding it well. ILYBINILWY is almost always the battle cry of a successful branch swing, with her pinky finger still on the old branch.

Do you think you will ever get a straight answer about any woman's past? (Excluding the religious girls)

Probably. I know some of her past but not all of it. I choose not to ask about it.

Would you feel differently if you had slammed a bunch of hoes before you met her? I was like that with my first long term relationship. She wasn't a slut by any means, but wasn't a virgin and I was. Honestly, I only felt better after cheating on her. She was a great person and wife material, but the fact she wasn't a virgin really activated some insecurities in me since I purposely saved my virginity. I'm sure my wife was a slut before I met her, but I've never asked. Only thing I know is that I…

Everyone has ups and downs throughout life. I can tell you right now, all of the "ups" in my adult life have come during times of lifting, eating healthy, and being busy. The "ups" were in every aspect of life, not just my success with women. Testosterone is the definition of magic.

OYS #1 (attempt #2 from rule 9 ban) I was banned about a month ago which sucked but whatever. I'll try this again. 33yo, together 7 years, married 3. Reads: NMMNG x2, WISNIFG, WOTSM (really enjoyed this one), Pook x2 Lifts: DL 225 5, Squat 1755, BP 185*5. Been mixing in a lot of rings/pullups/dips in order to max aesthetics as well. Cardio, yoga, and stretching. I would love to get back to the shape I was in 5 years ago, so I'm trying to navigate exercise with kids and a 12 hr/day work schedule.…

OMS #1 Mid 30s. Wife is 29. Married 3 years. 3 kids (1st was a surprise and prior to marriage). 6’, 185 lbs, BF ~15% navy method. Workout stats in lbs: BP 185x5, Squat 1955 (yes...pathetic), Dead, 2455. I have remained in relatively good shape throughout adulthood, but I’ve really let myself go the past few years. It doesn't need to be said…I need to lift more. Like most others here, I went from the good looking, charming, athletic and successful dude who’s wife literally followed him across the…
