| 1 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit. This isn't ad hominem. It's merely an illustration of the point under discussion in this thread. There is a fair amount of overlap between this sub and other extremist subs that foster hate. We definitely have users that engage with those subs and post extremist hate there (in this case misogyny). Your account is an excellent illustration of this. That outsiders see and comment on this shouldn't be surprising. That they associate us together is only strengthened when we don't push back on hate w… | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 05:28 PM |
| 3 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit.I'm up for conversation with you, man. Let's have at it. I've been browsing you comment history, which is dominated by /r/The_Donald and similar subs, which lends credence to that /r/news comment that there is overlap in these subs. Not surprisingly, it's not hard to find hate in your comment history... Which we all know is shit cause all women are whores who just want dick and money. https://www.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/6ow75d/slutshaming_in_a_slutshell/dklcg8z/?utm_content=permalink&utm_med… | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 05:15 PM |
| 0 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit. It's not. I'm just pointing out that there are commenters and comments in the sub that are extreme and impart a strong them vs us message to people who read them that is dehumanizing and radicalizing. Most of the sub is not like that, but there certainly are comments that reflect that and above is a good illustration. I don't have hate for the people doing this. I am concerned for them, however, and for the people that they are trying to pull over to their world view. It's harmful to themselves … | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 04:24 PM |
| 0 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit. You might want to read all the comments in this thread. There are definitely hate comments in here posted by users associated with white supremacists. It's not everyone, of course, but you can't blame people for noticing this and making the connection. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 03:59 PM |
| -1 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit.Ah, there it is again. Thanks for providing an additional illustration. I like reading /r/mensrights because I care about the issues that are harming men. I wish we would get our shit together and police the hate though. The comment on /r/news is not entirely without merit. There's definitely some overlap between this sub and those others. It can be an entry point for radicalization through hate. The above comments are perfect illustrations. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 03:50 PM |
| -2 | /r/Mensrights is once again being equated with hard core white supremacy, by reddit.Yeah, there it is. This comment exemplifies why people associate this sub with those other hate groups. The language in this comment is common to the other subs mentioned - the way it posits a conspiracy to "destroy America and laugh about it" and the way it demonizes other Americans as not American and ascribes them evil intent. That's hate. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 03:24 PM |
| 1 | Women at Google were so upset over memo citing biological differences that they skipped work, ironically confirming the stereotype by getting super-emotional and calling in sick over a man saying something they didn't like. 🤦🤦 🤷¯\_(ツ)_/¯🤷Not only doesn't he have a PhD from Harvard, but while he was there his program had to send out a letter apologizing for a sexist skit he wrote and performed on a program retreat. This guy has issues. I wouldn't be surprised if he had done things that made him difficult to work with before the memo, and Google was just happy to have another reason to bounce him. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 03:11 PM |

The most notable thing about the memo was that it takes a couple of ideas that don't sound that unreasonable and then wildly jumps to conclusions that don't follow. It's a bit of a smokescreen that easily confuses people who haven't had to deal rigorously with evidence before. | /r/MensRights | 13/08/17 02:59 PM |
