0	Why Should Men Get Married? Women initiate 80% of divorces. What does this prove exactly? Initiating divorce doesn’t mean they’re the ones who caused the marriage to fail in the first place. This doesn’t prove that women divorce for no reason or trivial reasons. However, this does provide insight as to why men aren’t the ones initiating divorce the majority of the time. 1	I feel in today’s day and age, men have it harder than women Both men and women have it hard in life. Men are told not to express their emotions. Women are called emotional and dramatic for expressing their emotions. Overweight/obese men are not told they are beautiful or attractive at their size. However, it has been normalized for years for a man to be heavy. Fat women are told they are beautiful and are encouraged to be delusional about their physical attractiveness and poor health.
