The Bible (New Testament, at least) is intended as a general account of the message of the prophet/savior/whatnot Jesus, and why the reader in question should choose to follow what he says. However, Jesus states that the Law (that is to say, Old Testament law (as the Old Testament IS a rule book), since Jesus was fundamentally Jewish and Paul was the one who created the establishment of Christianity) is still pertinent and will continue to be until the end of the Earth. Matthew 5:18 For verily I…

I'm not saying this in any way justifies OP's selective comment reading, but the "other side" (so to speak) does exactly the same thing. I have an acquaintance who loves to look at specific stupid comments made in defense of Men's Rights, or something of that variety, and then pigeonhole the entire position on that comment when there are better worded and less stupid comments there arguing for a saner version of the position that have far more support. Unfortunately, it is a rather common thing …

How is this a MensRights issue? He was convicted because he was Palestinian in Israel, not because he's a man.

I don't disagree, I simply find it funny that they actually cut out the first two verses of the original.

I was read a watered-down version of this poem in 5th grade when we started learning about the Holocaust. I recall them changing it to Christians, gays, and some other groups.

That's not the movement at all (if you can even say it is a movement, really). Masculism (Men's Rights Activism) is for equality of rights between both genders, not vengeance on feminists.

It's odd, I've seen that account on comments before and got deleted again. Does this person reregister every time they want to comment?

There is friction, but certainly not in a bad way. It feels... good, but not? I dunno.

Seems awfully anti-circumcised men in here. While I agree, circumcision isn't the best idea to inflict upon your children, there were comments made by some circumcised men that were downvoted because they answered a comment saying that circumcised men couldn't get off by saying they could. What the hell?

I'll answer for myself (just as an additional insight to more than one cut man on the matter) on the first part: No. No, I don't. Never have.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
