Let me preface this by saying I am in no way an expert. I'm simply a haffu (=person with one Japanese parent). You can start from here, although the article mainly talks about historical stuff, not so much current day stuff. Japan has a very homogeneous population (something like 98% Japanese), and so has very few outside cultural influences. Uh, guys, this isn't exactly worthy of mockery. There are plenty of women's issues in Japan, especially in the more rural areas. Yes, men are still expected to work and provide and all that, but it doesn't mean women there have the privileges they have in the West. If you want to talk about men's rights, do that. Help Japanese men form MRA groups, inform them, organize them, etc, and do your marches. But you can't mock women for doing the same thing you should be doing for your own rights.
