This question confuses me. She is married, she wants out but won't. She wants the thrill of attention from her coworker without being lovers, but she won't make a move either way. This is not putting someone in the 'friendzone', it's called fucking with their feelings.

'Game' is consciously contrived - I'm not saying that's a bad thing. But some people will be naturally charismatic or appealing to you, and you will hit it off with them and then hopefully you can be open enough to take a risk and just say, "I like you. Do you want to come home with me?" - it's not a great line but it does that job, that's what I mean.

Haha no def not me because I'm not interested in the guy. I mean that was the point of my post. You can be attracted to someone but turned off by their behaviour. Women with any sense recognise that man will treat you according to how they feel about you. Staring becomes harassment when it makes the other party uncomfortable and it doesn't signal respect and warm feelings. Also my feelings have totally changed since I posted it and I don't want him around me.

Being on the receiving end of this line, it most definitely worked for me. I was thrilled by his honesty. The guy was a 24 yo virgin by the way - how or why I have no idea. He had no game, he was charming as fuck.

Absolutely agree. Anxiety will cut you off at the knees even when you have something within your grasp.

This has worked for me in the past. I go into social anxiety over drive and I feel physical terror, but just texting "I'm nervous" before the date helped. He was nervous too and it eased some of the pressure.

If i know him fairly well and I am really attracted to him and he makes it overtly clear, both verbally and physically, that he feels the same I will fuck him as soon as possible. It's honest and it's real and I know that if I don't give myself what I want it will be painfully frustrating.

I'm not doubting the validity of your advice but if I am really into him I find that purely physical cues can hinder my ability to move on him, because I am worried about being left feeling used. I want to hear him say that he wants me, that he wants to fuck me, that he's into me.

She continued to see him and make out with him. That is not passivity. It sounds like she wasn't feeling the passion and sexual intent from him so she gave up and rightly so.

I agree with this definition of the friend-zone. As a woman I cannot friend-zone someone I have wanted to fuck but have given up on for whatever reason. If the desire remains I will avoid him. The frustration will make it impossible. If I friend-zone him it's because the desire is not there and never was.

Right but OP made it clear that they already had a solid connection. As a woman and speaking from experience I completely agree with him. If you continue to spend time with a woman and don't make your desire overt she will assume you are either confused, asexual or useless in bed. She wants to fuck and she wants it to be awesome,

Thanks for pointing this out. It's a bigger problem than I care to admit. I need to over come it.

I'm going to assume that. In which case don't fuk with someone in the office who wants a working respectful relationship with her colleagues. It's natural to form an attraction to someone you work with. Don't make things weird. Maybe I have feelings and he doesn't and that's what he's signalling.

Agreed. Confidence is important and maybe I'm lacking in that area but that's exactly why this kind of behaviour doesn't work on me. If I already know you and like you as a person I am not going to respond if I suspect you just want to fuk me and forget about it. It's an office for gods sake. I have to see you and interact with you everyday. If you want to deal with me you need to deal with my feelings. Maybe then we can keep it casual or just a one off. Am I expecting too much?

Talk to him? It's not like we needed an introduction. He's my coworker not some dude in a bar.

If that's the case don't eye fuk your coworker and pour that kind of attention on them because it may lead to unnecessary tension and communication problems. Not to mention confusion and possible resentment down the line. Does that make sense or am I just not understanding of a bro's sexual needs?

Yeah I get that. But what I'm saying is that I really don't respond to that kind of pressure ok? I'm shy. I like friendliness and chit chat and flirtation - a genuine show of interest. That's how I choose to express my interest in a man and I really don't think that's unusual.

When I say he's hot I mean I really like and respect him as a person, he's not incredibly handsome and built like a god - that's not what turns me on. It's just the mutual attraction that is making me crazy. I know it's hard to gauge how much a woman wants you at times, especially if she is shy about it like me, but if she spontaneously meets your gaze with a involuntary come on it should be pretty bloody clear.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
