Almost 90% of the homicides in Mexico are men. Nobody should be getting murdered by other people, but violence in Mexico is statistically almost exclusively a male issue.

Given recent legislation I probably could have worded that a little better. Either way though, it's a huge blow to a major amount of Canadian people and the way they live. It was a poorly thought out overreaction and I don't think it will stand over time.

They (Canadians) don't have the same level of protection that the second amendment allows American citizens, but SCOTUS is always having to deal with constitutional violations at the state and federal levels. A lot of American lawmakers don't respect the framework in which they are supposed to operate and it leads to a lot of issues. When presidential candidates are openly saying they want to take the guns, it should be a pretty big red flag.

Over 1500 firearms were banned by name. Essentially removed the right of the people to possess semiautomatic firearms, with 2 years or something to turn them in before it is considered criminal possession. In a country that is largely rural and has an active hunting and subsistence culture, that is a huge blow to the way of life.

Alaska. Hope your bush move goes well. I read that Trudeau made an exception on the ban for rural indigenous hunters, even though he was arguing that none of the guns listed were for hunting purposes. Fuckin clown town in that guy's head.

US Infantry also lowered boot standards for fitness requirements a couple years back. They can't make the boots do more than X pushups in a row or run for longer than Y time now. I forget the numbers, hence the variable placeholders. But they are stupid low.
