1	Escalating after 2 months The idea to meet her parents came up about a week ago. It was her idea. She is an American Girl. I like real answers like this. I feel like I'm not far enough down the rabbit hole to fully appreciate the advice. I would like to think that every girl is a case by case bases and the abuse is actually playing a role here. I think my best strategy at the moment is to be real with her. 1	Escalating after 2 months I have not placed my self in the "helping" position or the "I can fix her spot". These are her problems that she will have to deal with. I simply listen when she wants to talk about it and offer some guidance to how she can improve herself and move on. As Cassial said I need to focus on my needs and what it is that I want.
