1	75 years ago, women were exempt from conscription while men and only men were conscripted to die in WW2. Today, game developers shoehorn female soldiers in WW2 games, unabashedly erasing men's coerced sacrifice from popular culture, all for money. There were plenty of women who served during WWII. Maybe not in Infantry roles, but there were battlefield nurses and other support roles.
