Well if that is how it comes across i am sorry, but is not my intent. The whole back and forth began over a term that is typically veiwed as offensive across north america, and i never referred to race or makd assumptions about the race of anyone in any of my posts. Im frankly unsure how I'm supposed to magically know the race fender or sexual orientation of someone i'm talking to on the internet unless they self identify like you have and frankly for all I know regardless you're just trolling, …

So a disagreement over the well documented history of a term is me telling you what to think based on skin colour, very nice job there. Also while the irish (or the gaels which include scots) got shittier trestement than ethnically british north ameicans, notably during colonial times (also french acadians cajuns irish and slavic immigrants to name a few) if you think that these groups had similar shit or hardships (despite having some pretty crappy treatment such as the expulsion of the acadian…

That would be great except i don't see how I'm losing and arguement to you, and pointing out you appear to be ignorant to what you are talking about is hardly an attack, it also pretty much pales in comparison to the mutiple time youve directly stated and otherwise inferred that I'm a racist because im aware that the term "coloured" is offensive and POC isn't. Seems like you're projecting quite a bit and grasping at straws, based on what you wrote the most likely thing here as far as i can see i…

Black and Indegeonous People of Colour. It tends to show up a lot over the last couple of years and gets people worked up who object to quote unquote "woke language" sometimes. Its fairly common to see in language and media put out by various political, cultural, academic, and media organizations where I'm at in Canada, I assumed, possibly erroneously, that it was also in common usage south of the boarder.

I don't see how pointing out that every culture group in the united states had less agency than white americans is the same as saying no power or agency or how pointing out that coloured was a term/name given not chosen wherea as BIPOC is generally accepted and approved by the groups it refers to is such a virulant issue or topic for you. If you think that african americans or first nations have the same level of power and agency today as they did in 1909, i don't know what to tell you. As for b…

Who determined that the group in question be referred to as "coloured". I sorry that you don't understand that the term comes with racialized baggage, surely your local middle school can loan you a couple of history books and you ca do a little research. I am familiar with rhe history of NAACP, are you? If you were you'd be aware of the amazing uphill struggles it faced (EDIT: and still does) that it used the term coloured as it was the most accepted term for people of colour in 1909, preferred …

No simply that they had less agency in determining the title they were refered to by. Much in the same way that we dont refer to First Nations people as indians anymore but typically by the name of their individual cuture group (Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Iroquois, etc) or as First Nations as a general group rather than terms like "Indian" or Redskin" that other groups gave to them. For all I know any number of inappropriate terms might make comebacks into being acceptable like the term queer or the…

There are going to be a lot of BIPOC who are going to be racist for using terms like BIPOC by your metric.

The history books i read didn't have "Person of Colour" written above shitty water fountains in the southern US. But then again i guess that the distincrion between the term coloured which has negative racialized connotations in much of North America and academically accepted terms like Person of Colour or Black Indigeonous Person of Colour (POC or BIPOC repectively) which also are widely accepted by those communities and the organizations that represent those same groups might fly over your hea…

All of that originates in the patriarchal sexist notion that a woman has no "value" if some other dude has "used" her first along with the idea that "real men" go out and "spread their oats". Both are crap and really don't have a place in modern discorse imho

Why is it ok for him to slam on a door just because he is angry and had a bad day again ? Seems like a lot of people shitting on the manager for reacting to someone elses unexpected shit behavior, but very little accountability for the dudes lack of professionalism or self control.i mean you dont have to like either, but i would think recognizing that B wasn't happening with A happening immediately before hand is a factor here. EDIT: holy shit I can't type on phones

You do get that while some folks feel like you do, and thats obviously fine, not everyone veiws sex the same way you do. I thi knits nice that you need to be in a committed and healthy relationship to be physically intimate, regardless of your opinions of people who don't, but if you had a potential partner who had previously had a more causal outlook on sex but respected your feelings regarding it are they too gross to be relationship material or ddoes that outlook and past matter ?

Yeah this confuses me too free love followed by qnd couoled with safe sex following the AIDS epidemic in the 80s. Teen sex was pretty common when i was a teenager, so was having sex after a few dates, sometimes the night you met someone. But a lot of folks on the forms seem to treat sex and relationships like they were some sort of business transaction or HOA covenant. I'm finally old enough to say I just don't understand kids these days i guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/21 07:06 PM

What the hell is sport fucking ? My observations of the thread gave me the impression people were using the number of partners (typically called the "n count" ?) As the metric of who was a bad partner or not LTR material. I kind of had a similar outlook to you about the numbers (though 10 sexual partners by 20 or 21 was a bit more common when and where I grew up) I'm not sure why, if both of your examples were responsable and used protection and were respectful of their partner, why either would…

My parents were together. I got no advice from my dad and from my mom i got don't do it/if you do do it use a condom, don't do it (especially not under THIS roof) and a book from the early 70s in 1996. I had to figure out what to do via trial and error, and i had some fuck ups big and small, but overall i ended up with my wife in a (knock on wood) hapoy relationship so i think i did alright. I think a lot of people out there have a similar experience
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/21 06:49 PM

I'm pretty sure stumbling across the manosphere is like stumbling across your parents going ass-to-mouth. Its nothing anyone should or should want to see or experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/21 06:42 PM

I don't know all of the people who my wife was initmate with, save for the ones i know she dated, and I don't care. Same the other way around. Never occurs to us to care. Why get hung up on a number ?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/21 06:40 PM

Why should people who like sex and have sex be shamed ? If its ot you bag its not your bag but why give other people shit for it if they are being safe and responsable? I don't like monopoly and will typically avoid playing it , but I don't shit on other people who like it and do. (Crappy analogy i know but it works for me cause when I do play monopoly I typically get f*cked by someone)

I mean "not white" or " persons of color (POC)" comes to mi d. "Coloured" has kind of a shitty connotation due to its history in the USA especially where signage was concerned.

Well no, I don't and I don't have that because I'm not a asshole, but while some things increase i.e. the number of dishes or dirty clothes, others, like the number of pots or beds needing to be made don't really increase was what was I was getting at (as someone who actually does these things in his house and based on, admittedly, my own anecdotal experience) so yes house work does increase but I just think its a stretch to say that it doubles it (unless you are dealing with a REALLY shotty par…

This irritares me. When my wife and Istarted dating i made a little more, then after we moved i couldnt find full time wirk and she could so i did mist of the domestic stuff on the days she couldnt wirk, then we had outr last kid and i fell i to a full time job 2 months later, then covid hit and we were both broke, now shes back at shcool and i work full time. So the introduction of a second person increases the amount of cleaning by a factor of 2 ? Twice as many people doesn not equal twice as much cleaning in regular circumstances.

How does a rant about what men do or don't do answer the question put to you, or any question you've chosen to respond to in this thread ? Why does crap comments or actions by some men excuse rationalize or justify crap comments actions by some women, rather than both being shit ? It seems, based solely on your comments in this thread, like hating on one group and casting blame for all of your ans society's wors on them, is your whole identity. If you're happy with that great, might do you some …

There ha e been several additional studies in the 8 years since showing that rhese assertion are not true in all situations, nor are they the only factor involved. While hormones and other chemical reactions have an impact they aren't the only factor nor do they rob agents of their agency.

So what? Men have always done that. And so that somehow makes it acceptable for women to do the same ? For the record its shitty and stupid regardless of the gender or specifics of the perpatrator, but complaining about one group who does it while giving the other group a free pass is an extra bit of shit frosting on top of the shit cake. How about actually talking about how FDS's mondset isn't shit tather than using the shit behaviour conducted by some members of another group to justify crap i…

If something like this happened in the states youd get a situation where cops would walk around with their dicks out while hasseling folks so they could issue take down notices for the videos all while adding an extra level of trauma to the situation

Oddly enough with this argumwnt wouldn't the individual(s) recording events in the public space have the copyrifht here? Sort of as if the BBC films a vehicular accident on a public highway don't they own the copyright? I don't know Spains laws but here if its in public and you film it you have at least similar rights to copyrifht as the content creator. I just thi k the the comparison to copyright take down actually harms and confuses the point that you are trying to make here, due to who would…
