Yeah I agree, but each society/culture has its own particularities... today it would be creepy to ask a girl to marry you in the first date, but this was normal not so long ago.

Although I know this, I frequently forget it when talking to girls I'm already dating or already dated. I easily become very cerebral in those cases, thinking that somehow they are different from girls in general. Maybe useful advice.

I don't get an amazing number of matches, far from that, but actually yes, I get great matches sometimes, but don't know what to do with them really. Usually there isn't much information on their profile to serve as trigger. And then I find it difficult to balance between dorky/nice-guy and too direct/crude (like inviting them out right away).
