Yeah, sure you do. If you have 30 years of courtroom experience I'm not sure where it was. It's fairly simple and straightforward to say: "Your honor, despite what you're hearing on these rehearsed recordings where the defendant was on his best behavior, he was an animal off the camera at various other parts of the relationship" The recording doesn't prove anything this far into the relationship, this is basic logical stuff and he only stands to lose from the recordings. The best option is to no…

Because you're giving him the piss poor advice of allowing her to make a recording of an interaction thinking it'll 'prove' something it doesn't.

One recording doesn't prove any of what you're saying.

Same position as I am right now. My ex is going to probably get pissy with her boss babe lawyer and go to discovery for a 'complex' trial. The problem for her at this point is that it's going to cost a lot of money to go to trial, and none of the facts actually change. I'm assuming the only two options this cruel harpy has are to actually propose a reasonable settlement, or play even more dirty with custody and other bullshit.

I used claude and my own reasoning. In addition, I used the initial consults to vet them and their understanding of key topics instead of the starting point. I consulted with 4 different firms. The first step is to outline the general pinch points for your divorce. For me, it was mainly just stock and how that would be factored in. Secondly, make sure to ask these questions along with others during the consult and treat it like an interview. Use AI to enter as much about your case as you possibl…

we'll definitely find out during informal discovery I guess. My first guess would just be piss poor management as opposed to completely malicious, but we'll find out.

I'm realizing the same, I mean it is tighter, but at the same time I have peace knowing where my money is going.

My personal, totally honest and blunt opinion entering the dating market after my own divorce in my mid thirties: 35+ is perfectly fine for hanging out, sex, and bonding. It's highly unlikely I'd seriously consider someone over 35 for a serious relationship at this stage being that I want more kids. Realistically, if I pick up a 30 year old now, date for a couple of years, get married, start having kids, that leaves us a year or two of comfortably having kids. So yes, I'd argue that depending on…

you can tell this person is probably a tiktok girl because they use the word "heal".

does she use tiktok? the mental load shit is a death knell for every relationship, sets a completely broken frame in a woman's mind and she's sent it nonstop on tiktok and such.

No. The bar is just very low, and many women with mental disorders get into the profession. There's very little standing between a random joe off the street and a therapist with a degree from a state university and a mental disorder.

damn this seems to hit for a lot of people seems to be a very common trend, mine took the tiktok -> "invisible labor" -> ADHD -> medicated -> divorce pipeline what a fucking loser. Her friends are the same people, repeating the same lines, with the same stupid MK-ultra words, but too afraid to do the divorce bit. I'm sure Oracle will fix the algorithm and make it super healthy again /s.

was literally(ish) left for dead, she left me in the middle of a medical crisis that had been ongoing for 2 years. hard not to lose complete respect and view this person as a coward, especially when she spent 3/4 of the relationship "too depressed to do chores". it's ok though, its better to get it out of the way early than later on when something _really_ goes wrong.
