If you, "study and work hard," to find your true love, it's not true love.

This is, of course, one sided. If he confronted her about her lifestyle she would meltdown.

I'm guessing because of the nightmare that was his early life, he's pointing out how garbage that lifestyle is... I'm not a fan, but don't care one way, or another.

I would think you should be good, as long as you avoid luxuries... live simply and cheaply. Whatever minimum payment they require, double or even triple it. From there build your budget.

That's my goal, one day, though I want my cabin to be an escape from the world, so I may not ever need that much power. No plans for TV, fridge, etc.

These are the same people, during record cold, saying, "Weather and climate are two different things," then on a record hot day, "PROOF, PROOF OF GLOBAL WARMING." Plus its Vice... barely more tolerable than CNN.

I was fortunate... when I left the military, I was pretty disillusioned about life. Two older Veterans at my job, took me under their wing, and really helped me out. I realized that in most difficult life decisions I look to them and my father... all three are retired now. I can't remember any life/moral lessons from my mother... she changes as the world changes. My sister is just a terrible person. But those three men......

Had an ex get mad and told me I was sleeping on the couch... went to sleep in my bed. "What are you doing?!" "I'm sleeping in my bed, in my room, in my house! Don't like it, get out." Didn't last long after that, lol.

Awesome, I'll double check everything. I thought I understood, but the additions he has on the board threw me for a loop. At first I was concerned he built it incorrectly, but I'm sure I was just looking at it wrong. Thanks, I'll look it all over again and make sure I'm not missing anything!

This has been my only 'issue' so far. I built a small water 'tower' on the hill on my property and built an outbuilding around it, then ran pipes into the cabin... so now I have water. I just have to refill the tanks every few months with a trip into town. My greenhouse was damaged by hail, but I'll have that fixed by the weekend, hopefully.

I know this is a break from normal posts, but about a year ago I bought some land and put a small cabin on it... I disappear up there as often as I can. It is off grid, no electricity, water, etc. An older guy at my job retired, but sold me a small solar setup (minus the panels, but uses 2x 100W panels, 12vdc, charge controller, inverter, 3 batteries, includes a stand for the panels). The problem... I have no idea what I'm doing... anyone here have any advice on how to hook this up without destr…

I had a former OIC in the AF. Wife didn't work, didn't clean, couldn't drive... they ate out every night. He had to drive her around like a kid. He finally left her because, shocking, she was a cheating whore. Everyone treated him like he was the problem... he's much happier now.

It'll be worse because most Americans are 1) lazy and entitled, and 2) lacking skills. Even farmers dont really farm anymore. A computer at a company tells them when to plant, what to plant, and where to plant.

Yup, 50th AF Space Command. A lot of government space assets were run by the AF. GPS, MilStar, DSP, EPS, etc. Initially I worked crew. 24/7 operations. You watch telemetry, send commands, monitor ground stations (AFSCN). Ops Floor are always manned, every day of the year. I was initially trained to focus only on the integrity of the ground system (computer room) and the connection to the ground antenna. No clue... I remember someone else breaking down the study and pointing out omissions that they study failed to account for.
/r/MGTOW03/07/21 10:19 PM

Turns out its bunk... as men drive CONSIDERABLY more (truckers, longer commutes, etc) and are more likely to buy an expensive car/truck, when you adjust for that women are worse off. The study looked at the costs, for example, of an accident but ignored the types of cars/price tag and hours on the road being higher for men.

I had an economics professor basically say that, though his point was more about how to make hard decisions. To be fair, I've gotten like that in my personal life... if someone costs to much in my life, I draw back from them.

Retire.... where? What's rent like? Or a mortgage? Average cost of health insurance? I plan to retire at 50, spending half my time at my cabin and the other half in other, cheaper, countries. I should be good with about $700k minimum, $1mil is the dream.

Is it doable? Yes. Doable alone? Yes. Is it hard work? YES. Will you make mistakes? Yes. Will you be done in a few days? NO I built my own cabin, a week at a time. Still took months to complete. Also, even in the back country, they often require permits. The area where my cabin is required a permit for anything over 500 square feet... so my cabin is just smaller than that.

You admit you're attaching value to a terrible relationship because, reasons. They pick out a single negative comment, out of thousands that are neutral, and operate as if that is everything... and, because this is Reddit and logic flows in vast levels, its assumed that all we do is spend 24/7 posting, "aBoUt WoMeN," because there is a lot of comments, vs reality where most of us spend maybe 20 minutes reading and then spend a minute posting. "... so delusional or believe society will bend to their very will..." It already is... they're starting to forgive college debt. Give it a year or two and all college debt will be gone. Then women will move onto their next list of demands.

I dont have a link, but I believe it was in the 1920s... red was seen as masculine, pink was a form of red, so it was for boys... but most kids, at the time, wore white.

For starters, take full advantage of that 401k/company match... that is where you start. Next, a simple choice, is a Roth IRA. It grows, but you can take out what you've deposited in a pinch... just don't touch the interest and you'll be fine... better yet, don't touch it at all. After that, advice changes based on what you want. After my 401k/Roth I buy precious metals and dividend stocks. But for now, pump up that 401k!

"... was a good learning experience." Approach every aspect of life like this. Whether good, or bad, it's all about learning and not repeating mistakes. Why are you jealous? You said it was toxic... so why be jealous of the hell she's going to cause others. A bit of a cliche, but in a year or two you'll look at this moment, shake your head at your own actions... and you'll have learned another lesson.

Further proof that you can create a make believe story and then base your opinion about others on that story you just told yourself. And if you can be controlled and domesticated like cattle, that means you're a sheep. Sure, you have value for what you provide, but you're still a sheep.

Did they just admit that childbirth is all women have to offer? And I find women, physically, very attractive when they're in shape... I don't get the "filthy" point and I've never seen that claim.
/r/MGTOW18/05/21 02:53 PM

"... men often brag about sexual conquests..." I spent 8 years in the military and have a career that is 90% male... I've never heard a guy brag about their, "sexual conquests." I hear people make that claim, but it never actually happens.

I saw a similar one. "Marriage is like handing the woman a gun and letting her point it at your head. Maybe she's cool and won't pull the trigger, but do you really want to live life with a gun pointed at your head?"

... nothing. They called the squadron in to announce his death. DO made the announcement. Everyone knew about the rumors, more about the wife lying. She had the nerve to show up and try to go on stage, sobbing, trying to give a little speech. The death glares from the squadron must have been crazy; she walked up on stage, gave a sniffle, walked toward the podium, saw her audience, and turned right around and walked off.

My first CC in the AF, a really good guy... a stellar leader... committed suicide when his wife made tons of vile claims against him. His career crashed and burned, denied his transfer to the Pentagon, lost his chance at his first star... possibly the threat of jail time/demotion. She made it all up. Why? Because she liked her current house, where they were currently stationed, and didn't want to move when he took a promotion to the Pentagon. He refused to turn it down.

As one of those guys in his late 30s, I've been surprised by the amount of times guys my age bring up MGTOW in a positive way... I don't mention anything about it, but its surprising nonetheless. A guy I consider a mentor, late 50s and retiring in a couple of weeks, asked why I'm hesitant about marriage again... I asked him if he wanted to marry any of the current crop of women, especially with his opinion of, "You dang young people?" He was reluctant to agree, but agreed.
