I am only speaking theoretically on this one because I came of age in the late 70s and Aides was soon upon us when I started college and the threat was real - though COVID-45 is worse because you can pass it even with your pants on. It was frightening and challenging enough to find one partner with whom you could be safe. Nevertheless, my first thought is - Play the Game: Win-Win-Win. Let us know how that goes.

A 1 in 100 superpower is to become an empathetic listener. That's a challenging to learn "soft" skill that can set you apart. I am sure that "Mr Google" has plenty of "how to listen" programs and those that become masters of it, will become incredibly attractive.

First, stay safe. This pandemic is still real and becoming a spreader is not the least bit attractive. Second, practice having conversations in which you genuinely focus on listening to the other person and find a way to be empathetic about what they share with you.
