If you aren't disrespecting or invalidating Yourelf, your post is 50% false.People will treat you badly if you don't conform to toxic culture. The way People treat you is also a reflection of them. Eg Jesus Workplace culture , and most social cultures for that matter are rife with gossiping , extroverted manipulative 'alpha' bitches who love to give people a hard time and try to knock them off the social ladder. Alpha is just being the epitome of a culture , the stereotypical ideal. Whoop de fuck…

With regards to The1mancircus and his friend, he mentioned that the friend had PTSD from being in the military. I believe this to show that the man has some form of conscious and emotional body. Straying down a path like that is tough, full of influences that corrupt a persons moral and behavioural compass. That is separate from his family upbringing which we know nothing about. The friend may be acting out in a negative way, but if he can reflect and take on board criticism then he is a worthy …

Yes, the book gave me insights into his mindset and his character. I look up to aspects of his character , I believe he is role model worthy.

You may regret this decision one day. Maybe communicate healthy boundaries to him, what you find unacceptable about his behaviour, and give a small amount of time to him once in a while... The test of a true friend is someone who sticks through the bad. Be a friend to have a friend. You may find he comes through the other side in time, you will have a loyal buddy for life who would return the favour when your life falls apart and everyone abandons you because you are a drain on their life. I sug…

Hes not 100% spot on because you can't avoid negativity in yourself or in other people out in the world. Wallowing in self pity in a constructive manner and in moderation allow you to heal and grow. Complaining about some toxic dickhead invading your boundaries is a fast way to becoming a solid , integrated individual.

I disagree, I think people should acknowledge their deep rooted shame and sit with that snot until you heal yourself from its crippling effects. Repression of negativity will only cause an inner split and more problems down the line

It could well be psychological programming or parenting? Reading Richard Branson's book Loosing my Virginity , he talks about how his parents pushed/encouraged him to make his own decisions and go out of his comfort zone ( e.g. riding his bicycle all the way down to the coast as a child to make money )

So many awesome books posted. If I had to choose three books in a survival/travel situation I would grab these 3 and be content reading these for the rest of my life. 1) Meditations - Marcus Aurelius ofc (The Taoist texts are awesome) 2)The Jane English Translation of the Tao Te Ching is the best imo , amazing book 3)The Richard Wilhelm translation of the I Ching ( outside of this situation ) Some of Manly P halls books on the kindle are awesome Gary Kasparov - how life imitates chess The art of…

I get this. Being circumcised ( desensitised glands) , having strong pelvic floor muscles ( semen retention ) it's very hard to finish. But my wood is more like steel and I can fuck for hours, literally hours. I have learnt to calm the frustration and need to finish every time. I just play it cool, sit back and let things calm down there. Round 2 or 3 I bolt and it's like an atomic weapon blowing up

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
