2	Regarding the military - seeking advice. Should I go active or reserves? I’ll just comment on this briefly as someone who just got out of the marine corps. Go Reserves. Active duty is terrible when there isn’t a war going on (it’s even terrible then but atleast you have a purpose). I was in a combat MOS and it was just fucking terrible. I literally picked up trash and mopped floors for four years. Also I never deployed even though I was active, so don’t think that going active guarantees you’ll get to leave the country. 1	I can't get over my oneitis, what the fuck? I’m in a very similar situation as the OP. I realize wasn’t that upset about the breakup (7months ago) until she found someone else. Now I’m devastated. 3	askTRP Megathread March 14 Well in my opinion, a plate can’t do you any good if she’s dead, crippled, or in jail, so you it was in your best interest to keep her from driving drunk.
