Season chicken with some Cajun spice, salt, and pepper. Cook in the oven and make sure there is oil on the tray. Chop up sweet potatoes, onions, peppers, and roast them too with the same seasonings. Grab some flavoured uncle bens rice too. Simple and delicious. Thai curries are also great and delicious too. Grab any main ingredient, I always use prawns but you can use chicken or duck or anything really as long as it’s not a heavy meat, fry in chopped onion, garlic, ginger and chilli, add Thai cu…

Yeah I guessed it. If a man wants to be rude to a woman and call her “used up” he better have held himself to the same standard. He’s a twat, sorry. What benefits are there to this relationship? Is this behaviour usual for him?

First of all, stop the self-hatred (easier said than done, I know). It shows by you describing yourself as “ruined” and praising these God awful men who I’d love to kick in the balls. Remember, no piece of artwork is perfect. We all have bullshit we need to work on. It’s wonderful that you are doing this inner work. Second of all, just keep doing the work you are doing. Take responsibility. Work on changing habits etc.

There’s nothing wrong with communicating your needs.

That’s another thing I keep in mind!! Even though change is sometimes positive, I’m the type of person who finds it stressful sometimes. Of course nothing is ever guaranteed. But we both are self aware enough. I’m going to delete this post soon because of fear of getting doxxed. But im more confident in things now. Thank you a lot.

I hope you never have to escape an abusive relationship where they still try and manipulate you, it really sucks.

I’m not here for your respect or approval. I’m here for advice. Thank you for your advice and I know exactly what I’m choosing, but if you are going to show me negative judgement, I kindly ask that you move along.

I’ve been thinking the same. Except I know B has a lot of good potential and like I said, he’s a very rare gem and I don’t want to pass on this opportunity. B is understanding and he said he’s willing to take things as slow as I need. I will always care deeply for A. Every time I’m feeling sad about it, I remember the last breakdown I had because of him, which was after he promised to change. I feel scared and responsible for him, and I have nightmares too. I am checking in to make sure he’s not…

Mine is very loyal and reliable. I know he genuinely loves me because I saw him terrified of losing me the other day, but the fact he can’t even make changes when he’s that scared is very telling to me. Of course yours has his good qualities, you married him for a reason. But that doesn’t mean you should stifle yourself and make your life smaller. However, it doesn’t mean you should immediately run either. It means you should think about it carefully and try to make changes if possible, work on …

Hey OP I’m in the same boat. There are things we used to do at the beginning, hiking, camping, going on adventures, that we just don’t do anymore even though I’ve begged and I’m just thinking of walking out even though I love him because these things are part of who I am. My advice would be to learn what you can live with vs what you can’t live with. Talk to your husband about things you can both do together that will make it feel like you’re alive and bonding, and remember you can do certain th…

Ignore the negative comments. Men are sometimes a bit clueless with their words and then we analyse them. Simply just bring up to him how you feel about him mentioning only your physical aspects of yourself, and see how he responds. Taking care of you all that time is a green flag.

True, but shit-testing is deliberate. Men are unfortunately a bit clueless when it comes to banter and they push it too far, but it’s not shit-testing. Mine definitely takes shit too far as well.

My boyfriend is going through a similar phase and has been for a while, but I’m seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I made a mental list of things that pissed him off and caused arguments, and avoided doing them (within reason). I remind him of all the good he’s ever done, and try and find a middle ground when it comes to these male influencers. I acknowledge some of their good points but I always challenge their bad ones. God I hope it stops for real soon.

I got back with an ex. We split because of a genuine misunderstanding, and I still had feelings for him, so when he got quite drunk and soppy and asked for me back, I went back, and I’ve been with him ever since.

I have done so when I was younger. It was painful at first, but I got over it and the friendship was great.

Wow. I came here to find ways to look after my boyfriend, not to have anorexia encouraged. I hate to be That Redditor, but this sounds like abuse to me. You shouldn’t be trying to lose so much weight to appease someone who thinks Eugenia Cooney is sexy. That’s awful to yourself and your health.

You don’t have to have kids or get married. You can even get married and not have kids. Do you love him and see yourself staying with him? Because that’s the most important question here.

See I used to think this until I started dating a guy only a year older than me. Fast forward a few years later, still successful. The older guys I went for when I was younger, however, wanted sex.

It’s ok to have a loud and bold side, it doesn’t make you less feminine. Some guys absolutely love it.

It’s normal for him to want to spend time with his daughter, and healthy that the attention on her is undivided. That’s being a good parent. Does he have shared custody? How is he towards you when it’s just you both? Does he make time for you in general? These are the real questions.

It’s the opposite in my experience.
