False imprisonment can have both criminal and civil remedies. You might also talk to your lawyer about harassment and conspiracy to procure false arrest. In most places it's also illegal to block the sidewalk and the street; the fact that you were hit by a car should be more than enough for a reckless endangerment charge. They should have arrested her instead of you.

Why do they need to pursue higher education? Doesn't their male privilege entitle them to higher wages than women anyway? Maybe they already know how not to be rapists, so they're focusing on learning marketable skills where such skills are still taught.
