Case in point, right here. You can be a deeply undesirable person and be in a relationship. Get help, seriously. Additionally, I've reported this comment for breaking the subreddit rules.

Perhaps you are undesirable because you lash out at people with these very weird and unrelated jabs whenever someone doesn't give you the answer you want. It's consistent across all of your replies. You should see a therapist.

Don't use data to justify your bizarre opinions. Anyone with a modicum of intellect can see right through your bullshit.

Yes, and? What is your point?

"chillin most, playin the host, coast to coast man" When I read this, I actually cringed. If someone said this to me, I would have no idea how to respond. Like, what does that even mean? I'll admit that I'm a bit stiff in regards to dialogue, but phrases like this are just empty space. There is no content, no meaning, just words.

I mean witty lines that can apply anywhere E.g. "YO WAXJACKET, HOW YOU DOING MAN!?" , "good man, chillin like a villain" or "chillin most, playin the host, coast to coast man" aha I know it sounds stupid but little witty rhymes are hilarious I don't think "witty" means what you think it means.

This song has pulled me out of a lot of dark times in my life.

"This is a simpleton's excuse statement. They are rather popular with dismissive people who fear addressing concerns and who are more apt to ignore them. In short, a coward's retort. You see it a lot with people who take the simplest reasoning and convert it to an excuse. You have no reasoning or critical thinking skills. You're dismissive, but yet if people people dismiss you, you'll take offense. Hopefully, the hypocrisy isn't lost on you."

What a cookie cutter thread with vapid, meaningless advice. Just because something works for you, does not mean you can apply it generally across all men everywhere. Also, phrases like "[s]top looking at weird dark shit on the internet," are completely empty because you don't explain what they mean.

I would hazard a guess that more than 50% of the target PUA audience is an "idiot reader." How many people take what they hear and go out and practice it verbatim? TofuTofu is, to my knowledge, an upstanding member of the community. When you have clout in a community, you have a sense of duty to improve it, not destroy it. But poorly collected data helps no one. There's a reason there's a scientific method for these things. Anyways, those are my thoughts on the matter. Be well.

Because this world is already flooded with an insane amount of disinformation. For an extreme example, people who don't believe global warming exists because they only read and agree with "studies" that confirm their own biases. A "survey" of ten girls without any kind of data collected about themselves is not scientific at all. Did he ask them altogether as a group, or individually? Did he account for groupthink? If he's going to incorporate these "findings" into a book that is designed for mas…

No, I stopped dating and it's been great. All of my activities and hobbies are things that I do better alone. I have a low libido as well so it worked out all right for me. Thank you for your advice either way.

What I quoted from his post is just a representation of the inequality of dating. I've been on exactly one date where I felt like the girl was actually making an effort to be interesting. Every other one, I was expected to do everything. Make the approach, set up the date, pay for the date, lead the conversation, etc etc... As a man I feel entirely disposable and replaceable. It sours my entire experience and makes me feel like my life would be happier without the burden. And so far it has been.

This is perhaps the worst form of deductive reasoning I have seen on reddit yet. I just want to point out that you claim people are "moraliz[ing] other people because they don't behave according to [their] standards." But then you turn around and call me a "white knight" without really any basis whatsoever. Who's moralizing here, exactly?

Many others have already pointed out that this sort of survey is decidedly not scientific in any way, so I'm not going to rehash that. What I'm saying is that the single control question he included revealed that these women in particular wanted a guy to remember small details but wouldn't do that themselves. That, for me (and I'm not saying this applies to everyone, just me) is quite disheartening. P.S. I would just like to point how how he said that he "gathered 10 women from different backgro…

Haha what? That's a pretty big leap you're taking here, dude. "Taken" is a colloquialism to imply that someone is in a relationship. It's a fairly common in our society today. Replace "taken" with "seeing someone" and your argument just falls apart, and ends up being rather rude. But that's not even important. Your argument is so flimsy that you've resorted to name calling as your first response. Really? All I'm saying is that your response about sweeping generalizations is, in fact, a generaliz…

You do realize that you are making a generalization too, right? If you are pursuing a taken woman, you don't know her situation either, really. Your example is meaningless because it's one event out of the millions that may or may not be happening differently. In fact, your entire post can be said verbatim back at you.

I'm not complaining about the use of details themselves, but rather, that women he is citing like men to do something that they themselves don't want to do. It's the opposite of equality; it's not a progressive mindset. It's the same as expecting the guy to pay. I fully support women being equal and all that, but they actually have to, y'know, do it.

"[G]irls were truly blown away by guys who made effort to remember small details from their first encounter." ... "[N]one of the girls truly bring up minor details from the date." Uh, okay. These are the kinds of things that turn me off of dating in general.

Taking away their anime would be a) wrong, because you don't get to decide what other people do and b) pointless, because until they decide they want to change, nothing you say or do to inspire action will mean anything. There's more to life than anime, just like there's more to life than being good with women.

That's a little unfair to an entire medium. Try Planetes or Ghost in the Shell. I'd be extremely surprised if you told me that either of those series made you worse for watching them. Besides, anything can ruin you if you do it way too much.

Punctuation is important, but so is making it not sound like a textbook! Most people can't tell the difference between excellent grammar and generic grammar anyways. I always strive for excellence, but as long as you aren't using "u" and "r" and numbers for words, you'll be fine. EDIT: Sorry for double post. WiFi bugged out for a second.

You're just not playing the right ones. As someone who plays both single and multi-player games, SP games are far superior for a bunch of reasons. Your enjoyment of a MP game is directly tied to your performance, and your performance is dependent on how good you are in relation to anyone else. That creates an artificial time table that you feel like you have to follow. SP games are better because you can play them on your own schedule, and you aren't compared to anyone else. Also, I would say I'…
