I like it when people who don’t agree with us comment because often times they are just misinformed. I often take that opportunity to introduce them to the Duluth model of domestic violence. Explaining our point of view can lead to productive conversations and ultimately help to Better the mens rights movement

Finding out about the Duluth model from Karen Strahan is what brought me here. Shits dystopian

The older feminism wasn’t as bad but was still fucked. The right to vote had two groups behind it. One of those groups were the suffragists, a group of people who wanted the vote for everybody. The other group was the suffragettes, a group who wanted the vote for white women. The suffragists tried to accomplish their goal through protest and hated the suffragettes because they tried to accomplish their goal through petty vandalism and full blown terrorism.

Feminism is bad because it is directly responsible for the Duluth model being the basis for many laws in much of the western world

Your correct about their being some women haters on this sub and to them I say seek help. Even if their angry at the world for how they were treated they should try not to be hateful I would certainly say feminism has been a good thing for women in general but it also granted them legal superiority in certain places. That superiority shouldn’t be considered a good thing because even though it technically is good for women it’s harmful to everybody else. Personally I’m just not a fan of how in or…

In that case I recommend exploring the models of domestic violence and the history behind the Duluth model. Their is a really informative video by Karen strahan that I personally believe explains the flaws with this model very well. I can link it if you would like. Edit: figured I’d link it anyway

Are you seriously saying the US isn’t feminist enough? Men get more prison time for the same crimes. Men have to fight for custody of their children and when they lose that fight have to pay child support. Men are killing them selves at much higher rates. Feminism is not about equality. It was founded apon an incorrect model of domestic violence that blamed men for everything that went on in toxic relationships. It wasn’t about equality when the suffragettes were commiting terrorist attacks to t…

The Duluth model of domestic violence is more than enough reason to be anti feminist regardless of where you live. Also what kind of argument are you even trying to make? Regardless of where you live you can be against anything regardless of if it affects you or not.

I think the emphasis is on how soon it appears. I under where the confusion might come from. In general taking ideals to extremes doesn’t always make you look sane so I think that’s why theirs a lot of crazy’s.

Well a decent argument for sure, still think any amount of violence towards family is kinda fucked. I still think their is certaint things that are kind of fucked in the Quran like treatment of non Muslims. Some quotes and stuff that I don’t have time to look for at the moment but you definitely changed my mind about the severity of the quote I mentioned, I guess all I can do is thank you for that Edit: grammar Edit: clarification

Alright next quote let’s see how you handle this "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. (Shakir's version of the K…

I think it’s the art stile that gives a boomer feel, it reminds me of old school news paper drawing things. I agree with the message tho it’s just a art style that makes it have a weird feel.

Ah I see making fun of grammar because of a lack of genuine arguments or points to bring up. Do you think your parents are proud of you. Would they support what you are saying here. I’ll wait 🙃

You act like I’m saying it’s an excuse, when in reality it’s part of a multitude of issues that crazy bitch faces. Like she is fucked in the head and that could explain why she did what she did along with all the other factors

How so, felicity huffman got two weeks in a white collar prison. I mean that’s clearly better than an actual punishment in a normal prison. But no explain to me how getting two weeks in prison isn’t getting away with it. Or maby go back to grade school.

You seem to have a bit of a problem with who you think I am, would you like to talk about it? I think not eating so you don’t gain weight and accusing your husband of domestic abuse is a pretty good indication of being fucked in the head. That combined with her being a shit person. How about you tell me what your really upset at, is it the bias courts? the awful legal systems? The scummy media company’s? Whatever it is I dont think it’s me. Now I think you have pent up anger and if you want to v…
