but we do deny the systemic oppression of women claim. I'd like to hear why you think that's wrong? Because you guys both invalidate each other's actual problems and then complain about it (hypocritical). And idc what you say, MRA is the male feminism: deny it all you want, but it won't change anything and you'll still be drowning and wondering why your "group of people on the internet" aren't doing jack shit for the cause. You guys both are SO toxic: you guys (clearly) have such disdain for wom…

Could literally go on forever, but I don't care to have a discourse with people who lack the ability to have one in the first place (an authentic one anyways). I've just accepted that there's no hope for anyone: feminists will be feminists, MRAs will be MRAs, and this dipshit cycle of division continues--all the while they both claim to have the goal of "equality" (more rights for their gender and less for the other).

The mens rights one is pretty spot on (not sure about the first part about the rape tho). You guys really make equality ten times harder (just like the feminists you all hate)

So the cost of living has gone up everywhere, causing millions who don't even pay child support to struggle as well as you, and you're over here complaining about your parental duties? You chose to become a parent and now you have a responsibility--it sucks, but to come on here and complain like it's a mens problem is stupid. This is specifically a problem for you. Don't want the financial responsibility of a kid? Don't have a kid. When will we (men) learn that you reap what you sow and complain…

Okay, then spread your message--but don't become so consumed with hate that you become what you seek to destroy: that's what I have a problem with. Also, I'm a MRA and a Feminist...and I hate the people In both groups because they do the exact same thing that they complain the other side does (hint: if you're thinking in sides, rather than goals, you're not helping shit).

Will keep that in mind next time--appreciate the perspective.

If mfs could be like you I wouldn't be so cold towards this group (not that I'm any nicer to feminists, the radical ones anyway).

Bro... I've been on this sub (on and off) for about 7 months and I've witnessed, firsthand, all the misogyny. It's literally the same as how much misandry there is in feminism. Mfs will never learn.

Well, it's not like this "movement" has the best reputation with women...

I’m so confused.

Wouldn’t it be reasonable to say the government gains from the war too? The longer we fight amongst each other, the longer the government stays benefiting from oppressive behavior.

That’s literally my whole point. This shouldn’t be a war between social groups, it should be a war about equality for all against the government. Although I obviously didn’t say that in my initial post.

No, I didn’t say what you said was hate. But it is not factual though. Misandry doesn’t have to exist systemically for it to be considered real. Many of the posts on here exaggerate things, but that doesn’t mean some men aren’t affected by it. But I agree with you on the other points you made. Just cause some things are lined up to be in favor of men doesn’t mean that the issues raised here aren’t valid—the sane ones, of course.

Well my core beliefs haven’t changed. I believe a lot on here is counterproductive, but I did do exactly what I wrote against.

No??? Just pointed out how it was a hypocritical and fucked thing to say on a sub about MENS rights. Obviously my initial post and comments weren’t correct either and very hypocritical, but in my head I had the right intention and have learned to think more before saying. But what have you done? Just reinforce the same ideals that have oppressed us. Awareness is important—ik that now.

I’m confused. Please summarize what you mean.

I see what you’re saying. I was going to say I think it’s wrong to make generalizations about anyone, then I thought about nazis and thought differently. I think anyone who wants equality is both feminists and mens right activists tho. I guess what I’m trying to say that the bad in any group is not truly standing for the ideals of that group; they’re just corrupt and not in it for the right reason.

That’s pretty fucked to say I’m not a man because I don’t fit your idea of a man. Isn’t that one of the main topics on this sub? Trying to stop speech that says one is not a man because of a certain action? I didn’t properly convey what I wanted to say and I let my emotions get the better of me and I’ve been a hypocrite in this thread so it’s easy to see another one.

Yep that’s exactly what I did, I apologize. Was a hypocrite in my own hypocrite post. I realize now that all credibility is lost, but if I may say one last thing: I think we can get out point across in a different way. The way we do is far too similar to how our oppressors do things. I believe we should lead by example and try and change this sub as a helpful one, not one filled with the same hate we stand against.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
