Uh, yes. Men experience body dysmorphia. Men also experience eating disorders (my brother had one during his high school years). Why anyone would double down on this being a woman’s issue is far beyond me. Brain is gonna brain regardless.

OP was assaulted. Full stop. I hope he makes a report of the incident so that when it inevitably happens to someone else there’s an established history of her serial assaults. To those justifying the assault, I have a lot of words for them that would get me Reddit banned, but just know, they aren’t kind words.

I’m a woman, and your mental health matters to me. Take your meds. Drink plenty of water. Find some vitamins that benefit your mental well-being, like vitamins B12, D3, Ashwaghanda, and L-Theanine. If you can bring yourself to do so, try to spend a few minutes every day outside or doing some self care that brings you joy. Do the best you can for yourself when you can.
