14 dollars an hour won’t pay all the bills. But even at $15 an hour, life doesn't get a whole lot easier. Two adults who work 40 hours a week each and earn $15 an hour make $62,400 before taxes. Then deduct taxes and cost of living.

Oh yeah? No experience, no education needed? I find that to hard to believe.

Lol. Someone please show me an open position where someone is looking for an employee without a college degree, and offering over $30k in salary, with benefits, and all those fancy bells and whistles like stock options and retirement plans. I’ll wait.

Uncle Sam paints a pretty picture when you’re at the recruiters office, the way it actually works isn’t quite the same as that picture.

Case in point. Different situations, different people all trying to live a comfortable life. Why does it have to be their fault they’re in the situations that they’re in?

News flash. Most of us can’t. Just like people can’t afford to go to college. So yes if you want to go to college, if you want to live in a house, that’s what the loans are for. Right?

That’s gotta be the funniest thing I’ve read all week. And you’re not just shitting on me, you’re shitting on everyone in a situation beyond their control. I’m 30 years old, I went to college and served in the USMC. I had tuition money saved up for myself way before college. I was unfortunate enough to have a father that stole this money from me. You’re saying it’s my fault I had to take out loans to pay for my education? Remarkable

Maybe there wasn’t any other means? So your stance is it’s his fault he couldn’t afford college and should not have gotten the loan nor go to college?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
