It that's the case, then I need to buy a white panel van as I have a deep voice, shaved head, and a beard. Lol

I would infer it's an attempt to strike at the man's insecurity as calling someone that tends to get men riled up. (Or it did) Me personally, as a straight asexual male, I'd blow it off with an emotionless "Ok" or "whatever," as in it's interrupted whatever I was currently doing. That said, it is amusing to hear women say that while claiming to be "allies." While I can't speak for all men, I'm confident enough to say that most of us wouldn't call a woman a lesbian if she blew us off. I got lucky…

From the reels I've seen, the more vapid members of the female gender tend to think men should pay 100% of her stuff. His money is her money, her money is her money.

Have it added to the decree that if she's late on the mortgage payments, you're able to sell the house as it'll wreck your credit otherwise. That's what I did for my divorce as there was no way my ex would qualify to be on it herself. I also mentioned that during mediation as my credit took a hit from the few times she was late on it. Guess who hasn't been late since.

I wish we had more money. Not 6 figs, but definitely not living paycheck to paycheck. Granted, she became a lesbian, so I believe she spent most of her life in the closet. What was ironic is that my last year of teaching, I was making significantly more. So we could have lived comfortably. Unfortunately, she crossed a line that you couldn't step back over. In my current relationship, we make do and love the simple life. We talk about problems and haven't had an argument in the year we've been to…

Loss of my kids and reduced financial independence. Thankfully, my ex and I have a great parenting relationship, and I get to see my youngest every other week. Sometimes, we'll switch two weeks at a time. Now it's really financial independence, and that's only because I got burnt out from teaching and accepted a non-teaching position for less money. That said, I'm confident I can rebuild my finances to where they were. I actually enjoy the solitude.

Wish I knew this knew before... now I feel trapped with a clingy, broken bird that dislikes it when I want to just spend time with my kids, work on college work, or not be disturbed while working from home. Or even simply spending an afternoon playing a video game because my attention isn't 100% on her.

There was a male educator who was busted for basically the same thing, lacking engaging in intercorse, and he's chilling out with felony charges and no bond. So yeah. Double standard.

The self-improvement videos from creators on YouTube aimed at men were genuinely helpful. They played a big role in helping me get through my divorce—especially after my ex had an affair with a female co-worker. Those videos made me more aware of the warning signs and gave me practical guidance for navigating the emotional and logistical challenges of divorce. That said, personal growth should be a lifelong pursuit. Unfortunately, it seems like many in the younger generations are content with st…

My ex-wife used to watch that show... remember a long monologue from a doctor writing a letter about how he loved the woman he was pining for. She wasn't interested. Whole time I heard it, I kept thinking, "Jesus man, grow a set and move on."

I don't hate my parents, but I wish they would've let it be my decision. Of course, there is the argument, "bUt YoU dOn'T rEmEmBeR iT." Usually, proponents of this barbaric practice have no answers when countered with questions on female circumcision or intentionally breaking a newborn's arm or leg. Or in the case where the procedure is botched and the boy is scarred even before they've had a chance. The person won't "remember" it, but it doesn't make those actions any less barbaric. I believe it is directly linked to the fact that Gen-Z and the younger millenials are not getting married. I am not seeing the benefits of it, and I am a grizzled Gen-X'er who got off relatively easy on my divorce.

My sister's marriage ended due to infidelity and because she's a lifelong alcoholic. Like most addicts, it is never their fault. The support group I was in only had a few people in it. However the women cited similar issues like you referenced. My divorce was over my now ex wife deciding to throw over 20-years of marriage away on a lesbian affair with a subbordinate.

Considering that education is predominantly filled with women, it isn't likely going to happen. Though when I was a teacher, I would encourage my boys to focus on themselves and their education opposed to simping on the girls.

Had a male friend from my college days make a FB post about red pill and MGTOW. I looked it up and started seeing what was happening. This was back in 2020. I have questioned for a while why men are always portrayed simple minded primates while the women possess the superior intellect. There is a company in my city specializing in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Their radio commercials especially, portray the husband as next level incompetent while the intelligent wife just says, “Call company X…

how many of you guys have had your gf/partner pressure you into having sex with them when you weren't in the mood for it or when you were feeling to tired to have sex? Happened last month. It was a weekend, after 10pm, and I was tired. The GF pressured me into it. Finally gave into it to get her off my ass so I could sleep. It was all of 5-minutes. The worst part was she kept apologizing and smothering me after she realized I really wasn't in the mood.

I lost interest in sex while married, and she labeled that as emotional abuse. Ain't that funny? emotional abuse when a man does not want it, it's also abuse when you want too much. You cannot win so don't get married The majority of my marriage was sexless until the last few years. After that, I began to lose interest. It was more from being exhausted from being a teacher, lowered libido from antidepressant and anti-anxiety meds, and her notbso8ng doing the cat boxes on her days, which set off …

Absolutely. I removed my ex from my friend list to keep her from appearing in my recommendations before stepping away from the platform entirely. Now, I only check in occasionally for updates on my high school obit page—beyond that, I hardly use it. My current girlfriend, however, keeps a close watch whenever I do log in, as if she’s tracking my activity. But that’s a separate issue altogether. Still, leaving the app was the right move. My ex is an extrovert as well. When covid hit, she was pacing around the house and ended up having to go on walks. Me? I was content in the AC working with my students online. That recharge for introverts is real. My current gf wants to continuously chatter about nothing when all I want is peace and quiet. It probably does not help that she is not academically minded. So mindless chatter doesn't annoy her. Like you, I bring books, tablets, my Steamdeck, drawing supplies, etc, to keep me occupied…

Ugh. Makes me want to remain single. She is at work at the moment and asked if I "missed her." I responded "a little," as I really have not been thinking about her. I have been enjoying the peace and quiet, at least as much as can be achieved with my daughter and her friend over. My ex certainly was not like that. She would ask for time together and would respect when I needed time to recover from a rough day. As she is an educator as well, it would sometimes involve Netflix and Chinese takeout.

Why do non-introverts struggle to grasp this concept? When I am decompressing, my mind is not actively engaged in deep thought or analysis. Rather, I use this time as a means of mental recalibration—a deliberate process of clearing my thoughts and restoring equilibrium. LoL

I have expressed my need for space, yet the underlying tensions persist. I understand that her past experiences with untrustworthy partners have left scars, and while I sympathize with the weight of those memories, I cannot bear the burden of healing them. The continuous need for proximity has become overwhelming and stifling, to the extent that even my children have remarked upon it. While I do not inherently oppose physical contact, the relentless attachment has grown increasingly irksome. The expectation of constant togetherness, as though under perpetual supervision, creates an oppressive atmosphere. From my understanding, the issue is less about a shortage of 'financially viable' men and more about the entrenched role of the 'salaryman' within Japanese corporate culture. The demands of this professional identity leave little room for personal pursuits, including dating and hobbies. With an expectation of unwavering loyalty to the company and an intense workload, individuals in this system often struggle to find even adequate time for rest.

I’m weighing my options. I make a point to respect her time with her child and don’t feel the need to insert myself. Yet, when I attended a school function, she was upset that she couldn’t come—even though it was strictly for staff and students. I wouldn’t have been able to focus on her anyway; my responsibility was keeping an eye on the students. Then, when I casually mentioned I might go out with the 8th-grade team to celebrate the end of the year, the immediate response was, "Can I come?" So …

I can empathize with the sentiment. While I was barely holding myself together, my ex was spending time with her affair partner. I took on the responsibility of picking up and feeding the children, and my eldest later remarked that it was one of the few occasions she witnessed me break down in tears. Due to the constraints of my teacher's salary, we were forced to cohabitate. I ultimately converted the living room into my personal quarters until I was able to purchase an RV, where I lived for se…

Last night, I turned in at 8:15 PM, utterly exhausted and overwhelmed, which only exacerbated her frustration. My ex had an affair with a female coworker, so I initiated the divorce. I listed my marital status on my profile, and when matched, I'd tell them. Ended up meeting an amazing woman as the result. If she asks, be honest about it. But don't let it control you. Use the experience to strengthen yourself and enter it as a new experience and new chapter in your life. Because that's what it is - a new chapter.

It’s interesting that you bring this up, as I was reflecting on similar thoughts today. After discovering my soon-to-be ex-spouse's affair and subsequently experiencing the abrupt disappearance of a rebound relationship, I find that very little truly unsettles me anymore. Like many others, I have found immense support in stoicism, as well as in realigning my path with Christ. Although I am currently in a relationship, I do not feel any urgency for immediate responses to messages or interactions.…

I had never considered that possibility. After 21 years together, my soon-to-be ex-spouse engaged in an affair with a female colleague, ultimately coming to the realization that she was a lesbian—despite having previously opposed LGBTQ+ rights. The irony is striking. It seems that achieving a 25-year marriage, let alone reaching the 50-year milestone, has become increasingly rare for Generation X and subsequent generations.

It seems I was fortunate in that my former partner discovered an attraction to women, which has spared me from significant post-relationship drama—a welcome outcome. She violated our vows, prompting me to end the relationship, and thus far, I find myself better off for having done so, though I prefer not to tempt fate. I can only speak from my own experience and observations about the emotions part. If I give in to my emotions, I begin to think and act irrationally. If I withdraw, my world collapses. My ex is disconnected, barely does anything around the house, and is exploring her new sexuality. I've already stepped back to see what happens. So, while I recognize the importance of acknowledging men's feelings and emotions, I'm afraid the drive will be to weaken us as a sex.

One of things I learned in working with my therapist and processing the divorce, is that we're still human. So despite the "macho man" mentality, we're allowed to grieve. It's natural and part of the healing process. When I suspected my wife's infidelity, we'll more had the evidence to support it, I came home from work and locked myself in the bedroom. There was a commercial for antacids about 20 years ago or so, where a couple is at a restaurant. The man's eating a steak while his wife is telling him she wants a divorce as she's met someone - his brother. He puts down the utensils, reaches in his coat pocket, and hands her a bottle of Tums. Simply says "good luck". Basically this, OP. Mourn the closure of a chapter, or rejoice, and be ready to rewrite a new one.

Well, considering her infidelity with a woman is what drove me to file for a divorce in the first place, I simply "traded up".

I'm 47. It's definitely anxiety. I was upfront and honest with the woman I'm seeing at the start. We started off slow and didn't engage in sex for a month. Thankfully, she's understanding and I'm highly skilled in other areas to help pleasure her. So take it slow and understand it happens to the best of us.

This. I'd run into that problem with my STBX. My antidepressants were changed. Haven't had that issue with the woman I'm seeing

Yes. Several times. Each time, she denied it. Even when I basically presented her with overwhelming evidence: having her hair down the day she crossed that line, being home late, not looking me in the eye, smelling different. I asked for the divorce when she finally confessed to everything. She's still with the woman, even though it's not the bliss she thought it'd be. Her career is severely damaged. Her work reputation is damaged. The crops she's sewn are coming to fruition.

Try this website - I looked for some in my area in December. https://www.divorcecare.org/ I'm in NE FL, but I looked at my hometown and the town where my grandparents lived, different states, and it pulled groups in each. I'm going through it right now. My room is the converted garage/living room, so I have plenty of space. I've been the primary caregiver for our kids while she's giving her mistress rides home and coming home after 8.30 at night. The woman I started dating is a divorcee, knows my full situation, and is very understanding. I've been crunching the numbers and it's not financially feasible for me to move out at this moment. If like to, but it's hard on a teacher's salary. We have a verbal agreement …

The irony is that she'll ask the same. My STBX came home and flat out asked, "what did you work on today?" Had a therapy appointment and worked on stuff for school. (Teacher on winter break) And watched TV. Maybe I could've/should've done more, but I didn't really feel like it. I'd also recommend signing up for the Daily Stoic newsletter. For the past two years, I've worked to live a more stoic life. Have to admit I see a lot of the she shit my STBXW pulled. Only she decided to start a sexual affair with a woman carrying more red flags than a North Korean parade, and a back story even Jerry Springer wouldn't touch. 23 years together, 21 married. 21 brother. I'm 46 now. I seriously started thinking about ending it 13 years ago. But we got pregnant with our second. Talked to a lawyer in '19, but couldn't afford it. I feel you, brother. I asked for a divorce from my infidel STBXW at the beginning of December. Even posted on here about it. This past week was better. Like I felt better. I avoided the alcohol, but I have been to the gym regularly these past two weeks. I feel better, and I can already begin to see a change on my waistline. Then again, I've been able to have my kids today. Point is brother, use the day to mourn. But tomorrow, pick yourself back up, put the bottle away, and begin this new journey…

I was a summer camp counselor this past summer. Had a group of elementary kids along with my daughter at our last field trip. My daughter who was 12 at the time, took my hand as we were walking into an exhibit. Crowds make her uncomfortable. Should be noted, we look alike. Like there's no denying she's my kid. I took my eldest to a local part to play one day. It was just her and I, and I wanted to get her out of the house. Her mom, who I was still married to at the time, was working. Let them move that heavy furniture or appliances… fix the car… build the infrastructure… go to war… Why is funny, is that Israel requires mandatory military for all of its citizens. I’d put their women as more “bad ass” than 90% of American women. Does that country have the rampant nonsense we’re seeing in the US

I’m an average looking guy pushing 6’, (5’11”) and certainly don’t make 6-figures. But I’m also not pining for their attention. I could care less. If I say something to an “attractive” woman, it’s likely because she’s in my way.

After viewing some of the TikToks posted by Taylor the Fiend and others, it certainly seems that way. The unrealistic expectations: Over 6’, 6-figure income, wants to pamper me, etc… I know it’s a representative of a sample, but I’m not seeing a lot of posts stating otherwise.

Considering it’s usually the mother’s choice, they’re essentially “controlling” someone else’s life decisions. The irony of course is that the US is one of the only non-Jewish/Muslim countries that actively push it. Hell, they didn’t even care if the male was even a teen. They shamed them for “not enlisting to fight for their rights”. There were several cases of young men committing suicide after being shamed. These harpies even shamed WWI vets from their “white feather” campaigns. Of course, non of them volunteered to be in the nurses corps or anything like that.

It’s the same shaming they fall back on when men don’t conform to society’s “standards”. A 403 is rejected by a dude? He must be gay, insecure, a virgin, small package, etc. Never mind the fact that the woman has an attitude and behavior patterns that’d make Cruella a unicorn.

It certainly feels that way. It’s probably why the dreaded “RP” is becoming popular with men. Focus on ourselves and leave society to collapse without us. Honestly, with content like that, I fully advocate men “going Galt”. It’s slowly happening, but start hitting the fertility clinics. If men are so bad, then let these man hating individuals conceive a child without the donations. Move to walking away from construction, first responders, military, blue collar jobs. Stuff that keeps society functioning. As much as people, leftists, hate Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged”, it showed why could happen when people despised by society walk away.

I’ve been on 75mg of venlafaxine since 2016 - a year after my dad died. It helps take the edge off. I use it for anxiety and depression - the latter I’ve battled most of my life. The side effects haven’t been too bad. Libido is lowered, but I’ve been able to last longer. Granted, I’m also on BP and cholesterol meds, so that could have an effect on it. Because it’s the “natural” process. I was reading an article around 5 years ago that said asexual/aromantic people are shunned within the LBGQT community. But society follows the biological aspects. We seek characteristics and attributes that’ll benefit passing our genes onto an offspring. Since we’re a community based species, it benefited the early tribes by adding to numbers or bridging a gap between two tribes.

I cannot echo what others have already said. You need to look out for yourself. I equate to “company loyalty”. Used to be, you could spend your whole life working for an organization. They’d have your back for life. Now? Doesn’t matter how “loyal” you are to them - they’ll have your replacement in mind before they throw you out. In your situation, it’s time to separate ways. Congrats brother. TBH, I’m terrified. I’m in my second year of a Chapter 13, my minuscule retirement was cashed out after a career change to teaching in attempt to clear up some debt and replace a car. I have student loans, and I’m 43. I’d consider the electrician route, but I’m colorblind. I don’t want to be that old guy you see bagging groceries because he needs the money to supplement his social security. Or worse, the guy in the neighborhood collecting scrap, or panhandling at Walmart when I…

Edit: it was the White Feather campaign. The White Rose movement was a German student led movement, protesting the Nazi party

It happened during WWI. One of the victims was a young teen, not close to being eligible to enlist. He was so embarrassed that he took his own life. Meanwhile, the White Rose whores continued on

Why do you think the “White Rose” movement was ran by women? They were fearful of losing their “rights,” and went to great lengths to belittle anyone with a dick. Including ostracizing young teens, cripples, wounded veterans, and active duty personnel.

Several companies will pay for your CDL, and ask for two years of service afterwards. I can’t remember any off the top of my head, though I do know you’d want to avoid Swift. I was looking at it in ‘16 before making the decision to move to teaching. Part of me wishes I went the trucking route, but the other part of me enjoys the classroom.

I’ve been a “gamer” since the days of the Atari. I swap between the PS4 and Switch, and I’m in my early 40s. That said, my game time is limited during the school year as I’m focused on lesson planning, grading, and doing the regular shit on my off days. I also read and watch some anime sometimes. I have found it gives me a common bond with my students, allowing me to build the relationships with them. When I see them reading manga or talking about a game, I can relate to it and show an interest …

Problem is that the draw of a woman is strong. It’s like we’re genetically coded to follow it. Look at the males throughout the.animal kingdom. Even though some species knows that the male is going to die from the female’s actions, they still chase it to bust a nut. It’s why the alphas pound their chests in a form of testosterone laced competition against other males. It’s why the beta simps orbit the females in hopes of a slice of the pie.

Well I’m a teacher, so I’m around women most of the town. All are married, and it’s strictly platonic. I reach out to one off and on to run science related things by her for the classroom as she has several years on me in teaching experience. The most I’d remotely consider, is pursing the new ELA teacher for a pump and dump. But it goes against my “don’t fish off the dock” philosophy. However, I’m cordial to them as they’re my peers. Though one I know no longer thinks highly of me as she’s on my…

I have one tat, something I got when I was 20, stupid, and stoned. But I was smart enough to get it in a place that can’t be seen. If anything, I’d get my parent’s initials on my shoulder as a memorial. Tats on women is tricky. I’m not going to begin to wonder the logic behind it. The Witcher on Netflix. Has some powerful female characters, but the main is a badass dude. Definitely not a feminist ideology. I’d say the reimaged Battlestar Galactica. Has some feminist marks to it, but certainly nothing like what is out today. I don’t recall seeing any social justice warrior crap in it. If you want to go way back, though don’t know how you could stream it, Airwolf. It’s pure 1980s sci-fi, with two dudes and a sweet attack helo.

The ones closest to you are often the ones with the sharpest knives. I’m sorry you have to deal with that shit. I’d recommend keeping your thoughts to yourself and dodge the questions. Funny that your sister referred to MGTOW as “beta losers.” While there are alphas in the realm, I’ve always perceived it as more of a sigma male mindset. We’re not bound by societal norms, nor are we chasing women - something both alphas and betas do. We’re out for ourselves. Then again, that’s my perception of it.

Unfortunately, Linkdin is still filled with BS. Got an IM the other day from some tosser wanting me to invest $1500 into his business for a facilities cleaning franchise. Nothing against the people who do that, but my profile says “teacher.” Not sure where I’d have $1500 laying around to “invest” in some arsehole’s business on the web. This. It takes action to parent. Or as Gerry Brooks says, “parenting. It’s a verb.” I’m a gen-X’er, and I warmed the behind of my kids when they acted up. Not to the level that I got, but if anything, I’m confident they won’t be one of these adult children running around, tearing the place up. They also have the desire to work, and have their goals set out for their careers. Perhaps it’s anti MGTOW, but I don’t want them dependent on a man.

The conservative Christian side will complain about it. Coming from an introvert, I’m not going to stay out late at a party or a club. They bore me, and I usually have to be up early and alert for work the next day. Not a problem asking. I’ve asked myself that on more than one occasion in the past three years. LoL I was bored where I was at. I’d come in, and it’d be the same as the day before. Basically Office Space and Dilbert, but not to that full level. I found it hard to move up, because they’d place requirements on positions. A year ago, I would disagree with you. After seeing what has been happening in Seattle and Portland for the past two months, I’m of the opinion that humanity sucks. I recall the scene from reimaged Battlestar Galactica, when Edward James Olmos’ character said “You know when we fought the Cylon’s; we did it to save ourselves from extinction. A distrust in the system is not necessarily misanthropy. I recognize a casino is stacked is stacked against my favor, as is the state lottery. As such, I won’t waste my time and in money in those systems. I believe they label it as “misanthropy” as they cannot claim it’s misogyny. So claiming it’s a hatred/distrust of humanity gives them a “talking point,” allows them to lump us with incels. Me personally, I don’t hate casino workers. I’m just not going to play their game.
